And the extend version of that Level 3 is a wall of meteors! It's a one-hit KO when successfully hit. XD
In case no one realize, Kamui's super both normal & enhance version hits for 44 hits. In Japanese 4 (shi) sounds close to death (shi ne). I guess since 4 hits aren't that impactful so they go for 44

@@umgogo Do you know what the symbol is in the enhanced version that blares red in the background? To clarify it is a kanji that appears between the opponent and kamui.
That is not a kanji, it's a Siddha (Sanskrit) symbol. I don't know what it means, but it is the same symbol seen on Mizuki Rashoujin's orb when she performs her Weapon Breaker in Samurai Shodown 2.
Actually, "death" in Japanese is just "shi". "Shi ne" means "die", so while you've got the right idea, it's a bit more straightforward than that. In other words, the number "four" in Japanese can be pronounced *the exact same* as "death", being "shi" in both instances.

This video should have been titled "Rate the Ultras/Level 3s." The supers are much easier than the many situational Level 3s you have done (albeit it is reward if you managed to pull it off) and they actually bring out the personality of the characters much better that way. Not to mention this is a game with a much better homing system that makes the supers/ultras much different than the usual horizontal fare. And besides...Your thumbnail isn't right. Kamui is left-handed!
That being said, I'm looking forward to Team Southpaw Samurai (Kamui/Yuzuriha) for BBTAG! :D

As hard as Saki's is your bias is REALLY heavy when you gave her that 1/10. Sure it wasn't the greatest but actually pulling it off just feels so badass and it doesn't look half bad either, a more fair rating would probably be 5-8/10 honestly.
I looked at the thumbnail and thought the girl was Lyn from fire emblem and freaked out.
Either way this was pretty kool. I might get the game.

In Last hits, see Edinorog bar, you can hold Button, after release in Yellow point of bar.
If you press correct of All hits, you give 100% damage.

@@brokenwing51 you can do that with anybody. but even if you stop her Excalibur now you have to deal with her in Gold Sabre mode which is a bitch in itself. not that it matters because Ouka is the way to go anyway. 1 guage and there goes 3/4 of your life.
the thing about Zeni'as super is that you have to hold the button for her bunker to get more damage. it's like makoto's impact drive.
Let's wait for Arcana Blazes. They are the real dish.
The arcana Eclipses (Eclipsi?) are also good to watch, especially from Fire and Love.
Hey Koei, Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars Xtend just came out with 2 new extra characters.
The easy way of performing Saki's Garbh Dagda is on Simple Mode, which is just mash that button to perform the move (like a combo).
Million Arthur Arcane, currently has the best 2D fighter anime supers out right now.
Next time you do one of these can you please include regular supers, not just lvl 3's? You missed out on a lot of good ones that showed off the characters more and even the Arcana Supers.
You took the words right out of my mouth! Combined with the fantastic homing in this game and it brings out the personality of the characters even more.
It's just like one of my Japanese animes!

May I say how the Lieselotte girl would fit in Darkstalkers and Skullgirls? Really, that super of hers is creepy, mainly the last shot of the tombstone. It would be more creepier if they didn't show the opponent after getting attcked by whatever the heck she unleashed.

I think Clarice turns naked during her super. If you slow it down. Zenia's super should have properly timed inputs to make it look more explosive.
Liesolette's is my absolute FAVE though. One of my most fave supers in fighting games.
for dorothy's climax, you can choose the winning card while they try to pick it. then theres a death card

(With no cost, no strings attached, I just love teaching people this game) This game is incredibly fun once you've got a grasp on its mechanics and I'd like to say it's one of the most fun games out there. These are some of the most underwhelming supers I’ve ever seen.
What I learned from this
1. Koe's a hard man to please when it comes to supers
2. He has a fear of Puppets apparently
Also, dont underestimate how long some of these supers took him. 3 hours of the stream were spent just on these supers, and the Arcana supers are all just 236ABC so they took no time at all. He spent ten minutes ALONE on Fiona, and 10 minutes before that on Lilica.
Blade Brent 632146 motions are difficult? Idk what makes it so difficult? Is there some awkward execution? I’d love to know.
@@joonlv3197 For Fiona? The first input's fine but theres 2 follow-up inputs. The next input just makes her jump, which is easy, but then the last input requires INSANELY specific timing. I believe the chat kept mentioned it was only *two frames* in order to land the max damage. if you miss that, you get 1000 damage (which is barely anything if you noticed), or worse, you get nothing at all. Thats why it took him so long to do it. Even in training mode, you have to find the spot that lands it. He also spent some time on Nazuna and Elsa for somewhat similar reasons (the former required more rhythm, and the latter requires putting in the input before the bullet drops)
That's because these are Ultras/Level 3s. These are some of the most situational Ultras in the game, especially compared to the Supers, which are much easier in comparison.

I'd forgotten how much fun Arcana Heart #3 is....and I just had the regular version. Didn't know Fiona's enhanced super was so powerful.

The fact that fiona's super is a insta kill is unbelievable
It's not an instant kill though, it just does a lot of damage.
Though with the right set up, like being at low health with Sin and hitting a low health character, it potentially can ToD but I'm not entirely sure on that.

also i think if you hit some of those while the opponents are airborne, you would appreciate the huge hitboxes on them.

You know...with Sony like it is right now toward games like this, I don't think we'll get this game off Steam unless it comes to Switch. Also Koe, Max while he likes anime..if it's not from a certain time frame (I.E. the newer ones he cares nothing about it seems) he more often makes fun of them. Sure he likes Guilty Gear but he has a nasty habit of making fun of games like this to the point it kind of pisses me off. I like Max don't get me wrong but it does get annoying at some point to hear all the cracks he and the others make at anime games for various reasons.

Heart, Petra, Weiss, Minori, the "main" characters of each installment.
For Arcana Heart, it's definitely Heart, Saki, Weiss, Petra, Kamui, Zenia and Akane. Elsa, Maori and Lilica might get in and I'm sure Scharlachrot, Yoriko, Fiona, Lieselotte and I think Clarice will have interesting reactions to certain characters in BBTAG.
You should check Touhou 12.3 and Touhou 15.5 supers.

Also why the are some of these so hard if they don't actually do that much? i get that they are Lv.3's and as far as i can see they look like "Last Resort" type of tools but still, why do you need to input a lot of buttons for regular damage when other's can do the same or more with less effort?

i found all of the supers were kind of underwhelming in this game. personally, when it comes to older anime fighters i thought Aquapazza had far flashier supers and ultimates than this game in most cases.
