As a matter of perspective 100 subs sounds massive from my standpoint, that’s our entire channel lol. I just clicked on this channel because I was going through an old Google Doc list from 2020 that Joel Haver shared with me and I was on the list. I think we were all part of a discord for small creators. It's cool to see the success on all those channels. You should be proud.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that many comedians eventually move on to other things. Take Jim Carrey and Jordan Peele, for example. I can’t think of more off the top of my head, but I know there are plenty! As a comedy fan, it’s a bit jarring and even disappointing to see them shift away from making funny content. But honestly, that’s selfish of me, isn’t it? To expect someone to keep making me laugh forever, just for my entertainment. At the end of the day, what truly matters is that they’re doing what makes them happy, and that’s something I can respect.
I didn't mind the video games. I was unavailable to catch them though. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with trying new things, especially with UA-cam.
I thought the Wii videos were quite fun! I find time capsule like stuff to being intriguing and nostalgic. You should do whatever makes you happy and the true fans of your content will stay subscribed. Don't be sorry! 😊 As for TikTok, I don't use the platform so I don't have much knowledge of the situation... they might ban it??
Pretty much every single time I post a video I lose subscribers hah... That probably says more about my channel than anything, as I don't really have a coherent "brand," but I'm also okay with people joining or leaving as they see fit, like we're all on a journey right? Twitch sounds like it could be a good place to find a gaming audience though - hope it goes well! If you ever make that vlog channel I will subscribe!
