Quick tip - to slip stitch around the post of a sc, put your hook into the next stitch, and out the next stitch and slip stitch (basically a front post slip stitch if that helps)
Hi Jayda I looooove ur videos and ur bubbly personality!!! You make crochet less intimidating and more like n awesome fun craft for ANYONE!!! I have been only crocheting for about two years now and I have two beautiful girls to which mostly everything I've ever made has gone to them lol!!! They are two very special kids this day and age kids are all about technology and don't get me wrong my girls love their iPads however they more so love homemade toys and their imaginations are awesome! They rather have a box from a toy so they can make things out of the boxes such as: tv, fridge, even little iPads lol doll houses so on! So I have been searching for videos to crochet them food for the fridge they just made outta boxes that came with orders for my husband!!! I'm very proud of them and what makes crocheting even more of a delightful craft is how much my girls truly appreciate and love everything I have ever crocheted even my few first patterns and I know how wonky ur first few patterns are lol they don't even care because they cherish it anyway!!! So all that being said I would be ever so grateful if u could do more amigurumi foods to add to their lil homemade collection and we thank u from our hearts for the patterns you've shared thus far we have many different jayda institches crochet items around our home and we love every one of them again thanks have a blessed day

I just love your tutorials and so does my granddaughter. I was wondering if you have one for the little doll that's in the beginning of this video? I have looked and looked and can't find it if it's there. I would like to make it for my Granddaughter. Thanks for all you do.
Can I make this kind of design but using lighter yarns and smaller hooks but same step by step process? I haven't tried making crochet before but I like to learn
Silly me - I didn't realize the yellow and white one was a banana until you said it was. For some reason, my goofy brain went, "Popcorn!" Now I see it, of course. Hee hee! These are both really cute. ☺️🌽🍌
Hi Jayda I brought the iPad to work an enjoying your corn and banana tutorial. I have been wanting to ask, where did you get your scissors? And can I buy them online? Thanks for the two videos this week. Happy weekend🌽🍌
is there a written pattern for this? it's hard for me to crochet without any pattern written on the video. i really would like to make these they are really cute, it's just hard for me to crochet without any written pattern.
I have an idea for you. I think you should put all your patterns in a book and sell the book. I know i would buy it. I love your videos. Please keep them comning. Thank You Diane

Hi Debbie! We have lots of little amigurumi tutorials, but not the girls...they won't stand still long enough! ;)
Is there any written instructions?
Thank You for sharing
Making these right now! :D
aww you are so cute ...dear.
So cute i love it💙💙
Can I make this kind of design but using lighter yarns and smaller hooks but same step by step process? I haven't tried making crochet before but I like to learn
Hi! Yes you can use a lighter weight yarn with a smaller hook, but still follow the pattern exactly, and it will be much smaller :)
@@JaydaInStitches Thank you so much! ♡♡♡
Amazing I love bananas 🍌
I love it!, Thanks for the tutorial! 🍌🌽👍🥳
OMG these are so cute thanks for sharing hun
Thank you Lorma :)
they're so cuteeee. I would like to know how to make a blanket with two types of stiches, shell crochet and a blanket with stars =P
Thank you for the suggestion, Tiago :)
here before a million views and 24 hours
SOOOO Cute! Quick yellow, green, white - arghhh!!!! [was that a wall?!] [gasp - I'm wasting precious corn-banana time]
The "harvest" is growing!
Thanks
Where in Ontario are u located. I've lived in the Hamilton area and northwest Ontario!
So amazing. ☺☺
I love this!! I'm going to try it but what size hook did you use?
Ummm ... Corn is a grain - not a vegetable, but both the banana and ear of corn are so CUTE!😅💖🧶
It's both! The kernel that pops is a grain, but the yellow bit we eat is a vegetable, neat eh?! 😊
Silly me - I didn't realize the yellow and white one was a banana until you said it was. For some reason, my goofy brain went, "Popcorn!" Now I see it, of course. Hee hee! These are both really cute. ☺️🌽🍌
did you create this pattern Jada? it's really cute and making those tight slip stitches to curl the husk is a really clever idea!
Thank you Hayden! Yes I did :) I love little crocheted foods and toys!
Of course my son loved the beginning!! We wish u made full length cartoons 🤗
Super cute as always 👍🏻
Thank you Sande :) LOL!
omg these are absolutely adorable😍
Thank you! :)
Hi Jayda I brought the iPad to work an enjoying your corn and banana tutorial. I have been wanting to ask, where did you get your scissors? And can I buy them online? Thanks for the two videos this week. Happy weekend🌽🍌
Hi Virginia! My mother in law picked those scissors up at Fabricland (they always have cute little things like that on check out counter).
Oh goooood!! they are so sweeet!! ahahahah :D jayda, can i write in private message for asking you a collaboration? i'd like so much :D
i've started to make english version of my tutorial, and i'd like to make my first english collaboration with you :D
很棒。Good
Where do you get the beads you use for eyes? :)
Hi Jennifer, there's little "glass" beads, I typically find containers of them at Walmart or craft stores like Michael's.
İlove it ..
Thank you for watching 😊
Love this! 🍌🌽
Thank you Lisette :)
so cute xxxxxxxxxx
Thank you! :)
these are super cute :)
Thank you Jennifer :)

Hi! Not yet, but it's on our list 😊 Thank you for watching!
is there a written pattern for this? it's hard for me to crochet without any pattern written on the video. i really would like to make these they are really cute, it's just hard for me to crochet without any written pattern.
Hi Ashlyn, thank you for asking! We have this one on the list to write up 😊
Ok, thank you!
What kind of sewing needle is this?
I have never seen one with a piece of string as the loop...
Hi! That's a wool needle :) We have a whole video on them here: ua-cam.com/video/0EWXaWWffxc/v-deo.html
كلش حلو
Very Cute Jayda! You have such a creative mind 🍌🌽😊🖒👏👏👏
Thank you!
I have an idea for you. I think you should put all your patterns in a book and sell the book. I know i would buy it. I love your videos. Please keep them comning. Thank You Diane
Hi Diane! Thank you very much for saying so :) We'll have to give that some thought!
😍😍😍😍😍
you should do an Adventure Time series. Finn, Jake, lady rainicorn... I bet they would be very fun and translate well to amigurumi
Thank you for the suggestion, Candace :)
No entiendo😐😐
Oops....not quite sure why it did that.
