Perfect timing. My son begins his senior year in high school tomorrow. I'm having serious "where did time go?" thoughts today! Thanks for cheering me up with this darling apple pattern. And I love the idea of adding apples to a fall display. You're the best!
This is great! Thank you Jayda! I Love Apples, a great gift for my teacher friends. I can see myself making them in different shades of red, green for granny smith, and even red-variegated yarns!
The school is having apple day on the 27th. Many parents were bringing in sweets as the teacher told me, so instead of making something like I originally planned I thought the kids might get a kick out of a small apple with their initials embroidered onto them as a "present" of sorts. The teacher thought it was an awesome idea, so I will be making 16 of these for the class thanks to this pattern
Thank you so much Jayda made one for my mom shes a teacher she loved it...great easy simple instructions that are so easy to follow. Going to make the pumpkin pattern next ^.^
Hi jayda I love the little apples and will definitely be making some to go with my various sized pumpkins , I have a basket ready for a display , thank you 😊Amanda xx
Hi, I love the Apple. I'm going to do some for the teachers. Also. They asking me if I can do macarons crochet, I do not know but I wanted to know if you can do one. So I that I can try to do it. Please

Hi! Yes, we have TWO actually :) The little one is here: ua-cam.com/video/PKlyiVvYlBQ/v-deo.html and the BIG one is here: ua-cam.com/video/7rSEKAP3sAc/v-deo.html
I want to know about your ball winder. How do the "balls" come out? Like cakes? How big are they? I have purchased 2 and the cakes are only 50 gram or 2 to 2.5 oz. I wanted to ball up all my scraggsly skiens and use and display them better. I thought I would ask before I boght the big one. You ate the only one I know that has a good sized one and it seems very well made as opposed to mine. Please let me know. I was gifted 4 18 gallon totes of messy yarn!
Hi Dawn! I have rewound BIG skeins and tiny little scraps and they all come out nice and firm and very stackable. Both Mama InStitches and I have the same winder and we both love it. Mama in particular has wound nearly every skeins she has, (ends, full skeins, big, small, different fibers) and every single time it comes out perfect. She keeps a bit of tension on the yarn as she winds and they come out firmer than if you don't :)
Another awesome pattern! My kiddo loves his new apple!

Me too! Thank you for watching Elida :)
Jayda InStitches 😍
Im a newbie . how can i make a larger size apple? (Pillow size)
Hi Eliza, if you use a really thick yarn and a big hook, it won't quite reach pillow size, but it will come out quite a big larger :)
I never buy stuffing now. I saved all my daughter's unwanted stuff toys and empty them. Free stuffing and keeps them out of the garbage
Yes! Fantastic idea!

Hi Lucy! Thank you for the suggestion 😊
