thank you and yes if you are having trouble locking them in you are not popping enough, as soon as you pop it more than enough you will feel the difference, happy skateboarding
Its been hard for me but its something I really want to do, Andy and Ninja are really good on camera, I figure the more I make myself do the better ill get
You did good Doug. Nice trick tip. Especially the additional variations at the end. I also like the bail shots too. Shows what can go wrong during the trick which can help overcome a fear some may have when trying it.
What I do is, I try to get the quickest hardest pop I can, then I jump as high as I can and try to bring my knees up as far as they can go so the board gets more lift, also take them to bumps since you can get a lot more pop from them and that will help with your form to get them higher
Yeah, I can notice that you're getting more comfortable. It's definitely a good thing 'cause it helps connect with your audience, the more we see you the better, no homo haha. Keep the videos coming!
I always like the trick tips where you just explain it how you would to one of your friends. "You gotta make sure you get over that shit!" Great line, great trick tip.
im sure he has one already, we all have a different look and take on tricks, watch as many as you can, even if you can already do the trick you could learn a different approach
Hey Doug any suggestions...I can kickflip pretty well like I land them all the time but they're not high enough, what can I do to make them pop higher?
I just can't learn these. They are absolutely impossible... The funny thing is that I've done them switch a couple times, it's still really hard, but not as much as regulars.
Nah dude, the problem is in the nosemanny, I can hold them on flatground, but when I try to ollie into them I just can't put my weight on the front truck and stay balanced. I sprained my ankle like 7 years ago trying it and since then I've found it really hard to commit to any tricks that require putting weight on the front truck. Recently I started to ollie nosemanual some curbs, but I can't take it to taller ledges. So the problem is that I'm a pussy and can't get over it hahaha. But I don't have that problem riding switch, because switch nosemanuals feel like fakie manuals and my inner danger alarms don't go off... Anyways, thanks so much for the tips and the fast reply!!!
