Thanks for sharing this information. I have 2 cars running the BLX100 ESC's and so far no issues at all on 3s. I really like how well the Firma products preform so I picked up 2-85amp SMART ESC's and motor combo for some smaller cars and so far I real happy.
How come it seems like these ESC'S will not work with any motor but a spectrum or some sort of horizon hobby motor that's what it seems like I'm using a 120 a spectrum 4s esc with a 2400 KV Traxxas motor and it gets hot on 4S and this ESC is rated for 2400 KV
I was unaware that the mojave I had ordered included this esc and other new Spectrum electronics. In my opinion, this makes the rtr hands down a better deal than the roller with it's limited "upgrades"
Go with hobbywing, the spectrum line of esc's and servo"s are bad quality. My brother has a kraton 6s with the spectrum electronics and less than a month the servo went out and about a week or so later, the esc quit working.I have the dbxl-e 2.0 and on the 2nd run the servo locked up. The esc has a problem since new , according to the beeps, the lvc setting was at med( stock) overheating and 4 puffed batteries later, I get a program box and the lvc was at the low setting. All the electronics are being replaced with higher quality electronics.
Will the Spektrum ESC work with any receiver and transmitter? I don't really need the smart technology stuff. Just want to make sure it is compatible with other electronics.
Nice video, As I may agree yes it is a work of art from your quote. But one big thing they left out is to include a Bluetooth module integrated into the ESC being that it is a smart ESC so I will not give it 10/10 because that alone makes it not fully smart as it is claimed. However all in all it is a nice ESC at this time.
7 months out with numerous warranty claims & ESC failures in the Arrma street cars is this review still valid in comparison to the older pregen BLX185 models? 🤔🤷🏾♂️🤓🤣🤣
@@obsessedrc7836 how do they know it's faulty cuz mine sparked no smoke or anything I just heard a pop and it wouldn't turn on. It looks normal on the outside and stuff
With my dbxl-e 2.0, the spektrum electronics were bad from the start. The spectrum electronics in my brothers kraton 6s have gone bad, servo"s and esc in both the dbxl-e and kraton didn't make it a month. The spectrum transmitter and receiver's are fine but I'll never trust their esc"s or servos again. I contacted HH and they basically blamed my driving style for the overheating and puffed batteries. The rc was 100% stock, no settings were changed. Then it was the brand and size of batteries I was using. Well it did the same thing with the recommended spectrum batteries. The lvc according to the beeps was at the med setting. The program box I finally got showed it was on the low setting and not the med that the beeps showed. The servo locked up on the 2nd run, it's been replaced with a savox, the esc just got replaced with a hobbywing max 5. While I have no complainants about the spectrum 780kv motor, it too is getting replaced with a leopard 58113 1050kv.

Definitely. I just did a speed run and on stock gearing it went 46. Going to change the pinion and do another. Bad ass truck I have 2 of them

Yes it will. Just all the telemetry stuff wont work. But you can still use it like normal

Yup. The motors are pretty much the same thing it will work

The firma 150 that come with V5 arrmas don't have as many programming options as the stand alone firma 150s.
Hey there, can you tell me why 150a esc’s actually have 2 battery plugs?!
So you can do 2 3S batteries for a total of 6S or 2 2S for 4S.

Nope just email them tell them what's going on. They need photo of your Reciept and the faulty product

I put one in my big rock It is the 6S. They go in the kraton 6s and the Mojave
I have this ESC. Those 4 extra capacitors will break off after racing/bashing for about a month. Then it will not work anymore. 150 down the drain.
Dang. Yea I actually encounterd a problem with it. After it got wet it wouldn't work for a few days. But u will say it is stronger then the BLX185
So buy another one day it doesn’t work and send the broken one back

Firma esc is trash, The blx 185 is much better.
