glad I figured this issue out after only having my mojave 4s for a week...I know a lot of people are really getting frustrated, thank you for doing a video on this for everybody. The best thing is that the beep settings option is pointless and obsolete once you have this program card to do the work for you especially since you don't need a PC or laptop to program your ESC.
Just wanted to come back and say my runtime has doubled after updating the esc, setting the LVC to 3.2, and the punch to 1. Its still plenty fast and my batteries are left at 3.4V per cell which is exactly where i want them.
Awesome video, my programmer will be here Friday, Hopefully it'll fix the mojave's low battery life, and now I have the extra esc I can use in something else
that depends on what's available for the individual esc you're programming. I've found that the software offers different versions for different escs, but the updates all did the same thing.
So my LVC problems was that it was taking the cells down to 2.9. So it ate through batteries. I was hoping to just change the LVC now that with this i could. But its not seeing the ESC. Maybe this is why the ESC isnt functioning properly?
Hey my guy I have a Mojave 4s and the esc cuts off then back on at full throttle I have done the esc upgrade and tried lowering lvc and none of that works I have a video of the problem
No, it’s not the stock ESC that comes in the vendetta is a 100 amp 3S I put 120 amp 4S in my vendetta I bought it from Jennie. People should be a little more careful with the information they give out. Google is very easy to look up
If you mean the Mojave 4s, mine would cut power after running for a few minutes. A couple of times the esc restarted on its own. Then there were some steering servo issues, no sure if that was involved as a bad servo can also be the culprit of similar symptoms. But since I switched out to the 6s system in it so soon after I got it, I didn't really notice the problems until I put the system in my Vendetta.
@jamesmangione5149 when I first saw your comment I was confused also, thus the edit. The BLX100 was, I believe, different from the Spektrum branded 100a escs. Thus the confusion as BLX basically means brushless to them. Hope this helps J.
I just became aware of this from someone on arrmaforum.com then from chriswithac while I was waiting for my programmer v2 box to arrive. You have to be sure to update the box first, then update your esc in that order. Spektrum has a video out about this but doesn't specify the new menus, specifically the LVC issue.
yes i know, i spoke to arrma and they are hush hush, but while lookig i was able to update the 100a with lvc adjustability. tried 120 from my kratom 4s no go. ill try again thank you.

You do need a PC or laptop to do the initial programming of your esc, then you can change setting in the field with only the box.

Now this is what I'm talking about! Thanks for the update Cody! 🙂👍
I put it
On punch level 9. I immediately snapped a metal RCAWD rear axle trying to gun it from a stand still. It makes it super torquey
Yeah man, it gets pretty violent 😅

Hope it all works out bro
The 100a will now have lvc adjustment with firmware b5.02
Yes 😀👍
Where did y’all download update b5.02? I’m only getting 1.30 which took away timing from b2.06.

Which esc? How long have you had it? Are you clicking the "connect" button on the screen when you do the update?
@bigbristv BLX100. I got the car 2 Christmas ago. And yep the connect button is doing nothing. Typhon 3S
@@Valrog_RC_3D this update may not work for the BLX escs.
@bigbristv yep your right sir. Guess I'm in the market for an ESC dangit.
Yeah once you bring it all up to date. LVC stops happening so much.
Yup, I just figured that out, too.
Will this work with the 85a esc as well?
Only 1 way to find out 😊
Not all 120a will update, mine wont stuck at b1.30 firmware
How long have you had that esc and what did it come in?
Hey my guy I have a Mojave 4s and the esc cuts off then back on at full throttle I have done the esc upgrade and tried lowering lvc and none of that works I have a video of the problem
This is something to have to contact Horizon on. Sorry bro
@@bigbristv thanks my guy warranty claim in the process called yesterday after pulling the entire system even rebuilt the motor
That's good to hear, glad you're getting it fixed bro.
Is the esc in the vendetta in this video the stock 100amp or did you change it to a 120amp?
The esc in the vendetta is a 120A, the one that came in it is in the Senton.

What symptoms does the truck exhibit, if any. just wondering.

Mystery Solved !!
Did it work for you?
So does it work with the vendetta 3s BLX 100 ?
Yes! I show me doing two of them in the video.
That’s what I thought saw you do in the video but then I thought I saw a comment about it didn’t work with BLX, but thanks bro

Thank you.
Hope it helped!
@@bigbristv Sure did. Just got a programmer today. Gonna go through all my Arrmas just like you did.
@edwelchDisgustedDad happy to help! Thanks for letting me know.
Did this just come out? I tried 2 days ago
