The Aurora DSP Plugin you didn't know is their super transparent reverb released on April 1st, it sounds so natural you can't even hear it ;)

For drums Steven Slate 5.5 Free is also very versatile with the most features!
Bogren also just released a free version of the Krimh drums, but they seem to be very limited (even more than ML Drums free).
Oh nice! i didn't know about the prestige amp. and yeah as you probably have seen on other video i'm not really a big fan of Nalex :) Bogren on the other hand sounds exciting! might do a follow up video on their drums. Thanks!
Great video dude. I've seen and heard people saying basically that we have plenty to use and where do we go from here? We've hit a wall with amp sims. I'm definitely feeling jaded with a lot of it. When I started using Neural Amp Modeler that also compoundes my feelings on free amp sims. Do you think we have anywhere to go from here? besides more features on stuff?
Hey man. Nice seeing you here :) you're not wrong, everything we ever wanted in amp sims are now available (either free or paid), and yeah amp capture tools like N.A.M are pretty decent and crazy i don't know where we would go from here but hopefully less DRM and more innovation :)
I think better delays and reverbs along with some clean amps would be cool. A million 5150s and only like 3 fenders and practically no vox to pick from. Though I feel like we're about to see a bunch of people sneakily modeling presets from other plugins into NAM and I have a bad feeling about how that could go legally.
@@impo64 Legally I think there's no legs there, the sounds are there to steal. Much like recipes.
@@resington I mostly agree but I don't think Neural will just allow people to do a 2 week trial, model all the presets, then never buy the plugin. I guess as long as it stays mostly underground and doesn't eat sales they won't care, but if it got big they'd probably have to do something. Maybe they'd go the route of the sound cutting out every 30 seconds or something, but even then I'm sure people could come up with a way to pause the capture process and then unpause when the sound comes back or something. Going to be interesting whatever happens I guess.
Newbie here, I am staring out in this world so I would like your input on this, as you are I am a Linux user, I have a couple of doubts.
1. I am between the solo and the 2i2 from focusrite.
2. I do not know if it is a good idea to buy the Tonelib GFX because it has Linux support and it is not a subscription model.

Other good plugins are the tuna suite of plugins, I got them all thru Reapack and they kick ass.
