Thanks for the share. You can eliminate the dreaded squeak by using white litium spray on the screw connect points✌️

Just picked one up today, and jumped on UA-cam to see ideas about weighing it down. The water bags idea is awesome. Great video - thank you!

Nikwax tent and solar proof spray is a standard go to keep the canvas preserved. Just a thought. Enjoyed the review as always. Cheers

Helped me decide if I wanted one of these. The answer is yes. Like you in not worried about side sun fade and not really concerned with the bottle opener. Just want some protection from the sun and weather. Thanks

Nice Daryl ! I had one like it. Unfortunately a storm made mine a pile of steel spaghetti! It was my fault ! I wish I still had mine !

We tied our gazebo to our grill. Our grill weights 600lbs So we used something like Paracord and only in the front, because it was off the patio blocks, we used tent stakes.

I literally just bought this same bbq gazebo off Amazon for $116. Minor differences, my side shelves are metal but I personally like the idea of metal better. Also mine didn’t come with led lights, something I could possibly add. Also no bottle opener. Also the one on Amazon took some time to put together but worth the purchase IMO

Hello thanks for the review. We just got a 5x8 and I already planned to do a teardown come winter. I’m used to setups and tear downs being an ex carnie so it’s nothing to setup again come spring.

I use a bottle opener for twist offs, and would be double pissed at myself if I broke the bottle😂 Great review👍

We screwed ours down to a treated 2x6 and set landscape stone on the 2x6 in between the legs of the gazebo. We got ours at Aldi for $80. It was an impulse buy, but I couldn't pass it up. My neighbor's grill gazebo has a metal roof. It's nice, but pricey.

Excellent video. We are getting ready to tear down our old wooden rotting deck and will replace with a paver patio. I have been thinking about how to cover the grill and have checked out a variety of grill canopes but had not come across a Sunjoy. I live in PA and deal with wind, cold, and snow as well. Wondering how easy it is to remove the bigger and smaller covers. I would likely want to do that for winter time. Thinking it would help keep it more stable in the winter wind. Not sure the weighted bags would keep it secure where I live. Is it easy to remove and put back on? Thanks.

Not sure how this material would hold up that can most likely be a fire hazard
when opening up the hopper and refilling the wood on my Masterbuilt 1050. Temperature and flames create a ton of heat not to mention alot of sparks that’s fly in the air. I’m not sure if this is an option for me. I’m thinking of a metal/aluminum or steel roof.

How does it hold up against the smoke and heat from the grill?
