  • I took NEIL out to learn how to fish. He had not picked up a fishing rod in his life and was super eager to learn how to do it. I went through everything with him and after a short fishing session he managed to catch some fish. Big smiles all round!

This is great to see mate. Too often I hear people taking the p*** out of beginner fishos near boat ramps and jettys. Great to see someone taking the time to do something constructive instead and building a community.

I've been out to many piers and had no luck at all, I have never caught my first fish, I've got all the gear to do so. I would like to go out somewhere to catch squid or Flathead, could you be able to take me out sometime and catch my first fish. Thanks Ryan

Shouldn't you support the belly of the fish when using lip grips?

    • @LandFishTV

+FishKeiki Smaller fish like this do not have much weight in them. It only begins to matter with larger models.
