Your listening and leadership skills in general have been tested and proven in your marriage and in the teams you’ve led since you were a young pastor. I’d like to request Simon to help me listen to him about “listening.” At the age of 46, is Simon married? Nothing tests listening than marriage. Who works in his organization? If for sure he has a real team he leads, what do they say about his “listening.” When he talks about “listening,” I struggle to see the practicality of the message beyond his eloquence. I’m unable to separate the message from the messenger.
Hi Doc,we thank God for bouncing back! Your observation is valid. There is a big difference between knowing something and having an experience about it. Experience is the litmus test that shows whether or not the knowledgeable individuals have done practicals.I cannot share experiences of being a grandfather yet am still a father. My teenage son is an expert rallydriver in a video game,you should see him drive to the finish line with gusto,however the reality is i have 25years experience of driving cars on the road. Experience authenticates one to offer advice, training, teaching or leadership. Regards to family

I don't understand why one asks others what to do 'during these uncertain times? Stop watching the news which is feeding 'uncertainty' and powerlessness. Everyone is resourceful and can learn and pivot. We were born powerful and blessed. Stay grateful and serve where it's needed. Stay peaceful to maintain a healthy immune system.
