As soon as I picked up the Hellcat Pro, I knew this was meant for me. Not only did I love how it felt in my hand, those sights really won me over! The U notch rear and tritium front sight are the best I've ever seen, imho.
I actually hated it when I shot it, and I hate the U sight even more. But I'm still going to get one, fatten up the grip, and add that HA comp. Hopefully the comp and a light reduce alot of that snap.
I thought I'd love the U notch sights but they, along with grip angle proved a bit disappointing despite perfect reliability. Got better feel & performance with my Taurus Gx4 Carry at a couple hundred dollars cheaper.
I believe the gun you get with the hellcat pro matches the value unlike the sig 365 xmacro. The Hellcat pro was 200 bucks cheaper at my local gun store than the 365 xmacro and also to add Springfield had a gear up promotion that they gave you a range bag and 3 extra mags for free. So for 575 I got the hellcat pro with a 1-17rd mag 1-15rd mag and an additional 3-15rd mags and a range bag. So who is this gun for…well the ones that want a great gun at a great price point that comes with extras. The sig was 799 at my gun store and it just came with 1 additional mag that’s it. I couldn’t pass up the value that the hellcat offered.
I bought mine (which is my first handgun) for about $600 at my LGS, but that's because it came with three 15rd mags, two 17rd mags, a red dot sight, gun case, and range bag. Saved a bunch of money just because of that deal. Used the money I saved to buy 4 boxes of ammo (50rds each) for practice. Gonna get my first rounds through it at the range today!
Thanks for the great video. I’ve had a Hellcat Pro for my EDC now for about 9 months and I absolutely love it. It came down to the Hellcat Pro or Glock 43x and I went with the Hellcat Pro. I got the Gear Up Package and mine came with (3) 15 round mags and (2) 17 round mags for less than $600. My Hellcat Pro is rigged out with a Holosun 507K GR X2 green got with 32 MOA circle and I absolutely love it. I am on my church security team and we are required to take a tactical class and shoot a police course to qualify in order to carry at church. I am by no means an ace with a pistol and I shot 192 out of 200 with no hits off center mass with my setup. Great setup and I highly recommend it. Even if you don’t use an optic, the rear U sight is so intuitive and easy to put on target. The Hellcat Pro is hard to beat for value and quality for what you get for the price. You will not make a mistake by going with this pistol.
I bought my Hellcat pro about 9 months ago. Only about 1000 rounds through it, but zero issues. I installed an Apex trigger, Crimson trace CTRad Micro red dot, and Talon grips. It's an awesome little tack driver. Size wise it fit's perfectly in my hands. The standard Hellcat, as well as the P365 are too small for me to comfortably shoot and control.
Were you able to find a holster for this setup? I can find one to fit mine as it currently sits with a Holosun 407K, TLR-7sub and threaded barrel but I can’t find a single one that’s compatible with the compensator
@gabrielcrawford4743 Werks holster is the first and only holster I ever bought fits the compensator and tlr7 sub like it was made just for the comp perfect fit. Also compatible with any red dot.
Bought my Hellcat Pro because of the Gear Up package which included 4-17 round magazines, 1-15 round magazine and a Viridian RFX11 Green Dot Optic for $580.
Hellcat pro, just bought one today. Compared to the Sig 365 that little extra bit for your pinky finger was selling point even tho my wife loves the 365: IM SO HAPPY WITH MY DECISION!
I bought 2 of them, I found it to be a comfortable carry and I liked the capacity it has. Plus the price point was right. $600 gets me a reliable firearm with a 17 round mag and a bunch of 15 round mags, it has lots of aftermarket support and it fits my hand very nicely! I did like the p365 xl and xmacro but I didn't like what I was hearing about the coating on the gun having issues with moisture and causing the gun to rust. A firearm is an investment and I don't want a $1,000 to rust because the manufacturer didn't do a quality job on the coating. I don't own a sig yet, but at some point I would love to
Use this barrel and comp, and the full Mcarbo kit, plus sandpaper stick on grips, upgrade your guide rod and spring. Makes an awesome backup for my tricked out H&K Vp9l
I’ve had the 365 Xmacro and now carry the hellcat pro. It’s my belief that since sig has gained all the government contracts the quality control has gone down. The trigger wasn’t that good at all and actually felt like it was made out of very cheap metal. I was also really unhappy with the slide finish on the SIG it was showing visible discoloration and wear within the first few range sessions. Not a huge deal but something I’d expect better from for the price. Once I started doing more research the hellcat pro definitely caught my eye. I have only spent about a thousand rounds through it and I can say I love the iron sights. And overall it just feels perfectly engineered for what it’s supposed to be which is a CCW gun. The trigger is fantastic, short reset, great grip texture, light weight, good round capacity. I’ll give the hellcat pro a 8.9/10 and the SIG a 7.5 and Glock is just Glock.
I bought mine the week before the promotion, the dealer kept quiet about the upcoming promo ( I was unaware )and Springfield said they would do nothing because I bought it a week early. I love the pistol but not the dealer and I'm not really impressed with Springfield. Shame on me.
As good? Mmmm, im gonna gonna disagree slightly, being that i've owned a Macro, 365XL, and 365X. The Macro is superior in stock trigger, compensated slide, and the ability to direct mount a decent optic. That being said, my edc IS a Hellcat Pro. I think it is phenomenal and a great price point. But it is slightly below a Macro
I want to say thank u for showing the hellcat pro. I went out, and I got everything u have. I didn't like the 15-round magazine it didnt feel right in my hand. I got rid of the 15-round magazine and got the 17 -round, and I have to say i love it.
Glock is CRAZY for not making a oem 15 rnd mag for the 43x. Hopefully PSA mags are as reliable as I'm hearing. I have a 43x with a True Precision barrel and one of your comps and I like it a lot.
15 is likely too large to be reliable, hence the issues SA has had. But I’m all for OEM mags that are either double stack or stack and a half. I’d be happy with 13 round magazines
Glock needs to get their shit in order because as much as I love them, they're getting out paced by just about everyone in terms of added and practical features on other pistols. Gen 6 should all be mos, deeper undercuts, keep front and back slide serrations, a way better trigger at the least the one made for the 19x, and minimum of 3 mags in the case. They need to do all extended externals like mag release, slide release ambi controls, and maybe a bit of a different external design. More in the original g48/43x line with that gray coating. They make so much money and barely offer anything as far as features. Still my two most reliable platforms seem to be gen 3-4 Glocks and the mnp lineup 1st or 2nd generation. They just run
I shot both the pro and the RDP and decided to go with the RDP. I felt it shot flatter, and like the idea of using shorter mags. But I've been running the 15 round mags over the years and never use the shorter ones
i love the hellcat pro comp but my absolute favorite micro compact is a hellcat RDP. So many carry options-especially if you pick up a regular hellcat barrel
365 X Macro is almost same handle length as the Hellcat Pro and they added 2 rounds without adding length? Specs say the gun is .4 inches taller, wouldn’t that make a considerable difference with concealability?
I got one of your comps and its awesome. Only problem is that i went shooting with it, and one of the screws came off. So, i had to purchase a new screw with blue lock tight but thats about it.
Did you need an adapter plate for the EPS Carry optic? Also when will the comp be in stock? I just got mine 2weeks ago and looking to do my upgrade soon.
I love my hellcat pro. I test fired every gun you were telling about and still loved the HC Pro more. I do know what your talking about with the grip. Wish it was a little more rounded at some places. It also has a 17 round mag available.
I recommend the Druid from rounded concealment. The compensator may stick out the end a bit,but the holster has a built in wedge and makes it much more comfortable. Plus you can wear it IWB or OWB because it comes with hardware for either setup.
I got the 43X and the Sig P365 XL and I bought the Hellcat Pro and I would have to disagree with the pro being a softer shooter for me. It made the meat between between my thumb and index finger sore every time I went to the range and it was because it was so snappy. The other two for me no issues.
I totally agree. I have the Hellcat Pro, and I recently had a chance to shoot a friends Sig P365 XL, the XL shot MUCH softer. I had instant regret for not trying out the Sig first.
There is a 17rd mag for the pro now. Also, I just got my HCAT for my hellcat, and wow looks freakin' nice. Can't wait to get range time Tuesday. Also when ya gonna get an Echelon and review it.
I purchased a hellcat pro kit (came with 5 mags and range bag) $550, son a Glock 43x MOS $560, and daughter the sig p365 x macro ($690 on special). The Glock is definitely built for softer hands and a fine pistol with the holosun 507 that was placed on it. Capacity leaves a bit to be desired but you can buy the flush fit 1.5 mag that holds 15 rds for another $40-50. Also it has a metal hole that will wear out the plastic mag release faster so you should buy the aftermarket metal one? Not a Glock guy so just repeating what I’m told here. Saw and felt no difference between the p365 and the hellcat pro personally. 17 rd capacity on sig but feels the same as the 15 rd capacity handle of the hellcat and of the 5 mags, two were extended to the 17 rd capacity. Now had one youngun who thought the sig slightly softer to shoot but no one else thought it better. So, for the second vehicle gun I went and bought the coyote brown hellcat pro with 2 mags (1 extended) that came with the red dot for $580 simply because the sig is a very nice pistol, just not $120 or $150 better than the Springfield or all, the extra one usually can find with them. Just my opinion on the latest pistols in this category.
just bought mine today, feels like a decent gun but the trigger is complete ass. just a hair bigger than my m&p shield 2.0 with twice the ammo capacity. cant wait to try it
This Guy cons for the hellcat is insane i agree on some areas maybe 2 things, but I love the hellcat pro and the iron sites is one of the best iron sites on a pistol, I can shoot at 80-90 yards with the hellcat pro iron sites which is insane. You cant do that with the xmacro. Plus the xmacro for me rusted and it jammed alot.
I don’t quite understand why nobody mentions the fact that the HC PRO comes with a 17 round magazine as well. They have been coming with both mags 15 & 17 for quite some time. For me it’s a no brainer. I just wish there was more options of after market magazines that are more affordable. Nonetheless, I prefer the feel of the HC PRO over other brands.
The 17 round magazines are actually some what new release. They've only been out for a few months now. I got 2 directly from Springfield Armory as soon as they dropped because they took 25 percent off them when released. I do agree that they are a joy to shoot and don't effect the guns ability to be concealed IWB.
A friend has a Hellcat Springfield. He wants to trade me for my Sig P320. I don't think I'll do it. I think there's some unknown reason why he wants to pass that gun off on me. It's a nice gun though. It's got nice sights. Cool name for a gun
I can’t upgrade with this build, California doesn’t allow threaded barrels. Therefore, I’m going to sell or trade my hellcat pro for an Sig P365 or X macro then get a radian ramjet afterburner.
Gotta throw my vote in for the Hellcat Pro. It's a great daily carry gun (speaking from experience). It's a little snappy because it's a smaller gun but not that bad imo.
I like hellcat pro but whoever says hellcat pro had phenomenal trigger it’s just flat out lie. It’s trigger is much worse then Glock. Trigger is more like long roll and takes forever to break
Just got one. Have cleaned it, not shot it yet. I'm a micro snob. Already have the 365 and Shield Plus. Said I wasn't going to do this again but here I am.
I’m gonna disagree with you. Put 10k rounds through my gun and the trigger to me is complete dog shit. However the hellcat pro I believe is the best conceal carry gun for the money. Design wise hellcat pro is the best designed conceal carry for the money. Glock 43 is poo poo
As soon as I picked up the Hellcat Pro, I knew this was meant for me. Not only did I love how it felt in my hand, those sights really won me over! The U notch rear and tritium front sight are the best I've ever seen, imho.

Yea standard 17&15rd came with my pro but my gear up came with 1 17 and 2 15rds
Dude everything you explained here is exactly what I went through and chose at my local gun store Jim’s pawn
I picked up mine back in October at a gun show for 595, came with 2 15rd mags and the crimson trace red dot, absolutely love it
I'm currently trying to decide between a G20 gen 5, XDM elite compact 10mm, G19X or hellcat pro I'll see if there running that same deal at my LGS
Must be nice , I paid $620 and got 2 10 round mags 😔 gotta love commiefornia
I bought mine (which is my first handgun) for about $600 at my LGS, but that's because it came with three 15rd mags, two 17rd mags, a red dot sight, gun case, and range bag. I just recently picked up the p365 and hellcat pro. Needless to say, I’m having a blast with both of them.
I personally love the grip. Blocky, but intentional. And best grip texture out there.
Just pick up a Hellcat pro for my first pistol love it
Awesome!
I swear my hellcat is the most comfortable handgun I own.
I recently got everything in for this same setup for my Pro and WOW. You guys do an amazing job!!! Thanks.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
For me, I have a preference to the squared grip on the Springfield. To me it helps reduce torque when shooting.

I have the fde hellcat pro. 3000rds. 0 malfunctions. Great ccw.
The 17rd mags for the pro make the gun PERFECT. Feels insane to operare
Surprised those weren't in this video btw. They've been out for a while.

I keep trying to catch the comp but I always miss it hope I can catch it soon
My hellcat pro has no squared off edges or in any way feels uncomfortable

I’d love to buy your comp. Get it in stockkkk
Youre getting a gun thats just as good as anything sig has.....for $500 instead of $700-$800
Went to gun show this Super Bowl weekend and I got a hellcat pro gear pack. 5 mags and range bag for 469 $ not too bad lol

Those psa mags didn't work out for me. Had 2-3 failures to eject with each mag
why not use the s15 mags? I have so many rounds through em and have never had an issue
@@Soulauric Work for me. PSA is going to ship their 43x clone with the 15 round mags. You can have a problem with any mag., even OEM’s.

How do you clean your barrel if you put loc tight on? Possibly, can you make a video regarding this?
Only use blue loc, it makes it much easier to remove and clean.
I love your comp on my Hellcat, it's so nice!
i love the hellcat pro comp but my absolute favorite micro compact is a hellcat RDP. So many carry options-especially if you pick up a regular hellcat barrel
I run your comp on my regular hellcat and what a difference! That gun is now fun to shoot. Thank you!
That’s awesome! I’m so glad you like it 😁
I shoot 400 rounds with a Hellcat pro doing some training end when I put it back in the holster it shoots one round by itself
And then you come to price and there Hellcat pro swipes the competition. Best bang for the buck by far.

Do the comp work for the original XD Subcompact since it’s a 3inch barrel
Any holster for that build ? For the hellcat pro.
Check out 4 Bros holster
I recommend the Druid from rounded concealment. The compensator may stick out the end a bit,but the holster has a built in wedge and makes it much more comfortable. Plus you can wear it IWB or OWB because it comes with hardware for either setup.
Managed to order a comp! Can't wait to try it!

You love to see it! And we have actually had an Echelon for a while. We're just putting it through its paces and doing some other tests first :)
Do you use a direct thread or piston?
What else can we get in CA optics ready?
Got mine today waiting for my free red dot and mags for the promo they are running

What about the RDP? How does it compare

Could you use your comp on a regular hellcat slide and barrel on a pro frame??
What was the total cost for that setup?
Is the optic 1/3 co-witness?
Does the Hcat Compensator fit on the hellcat pro? On the website it says Hellcat only.

it’s in the works!
Will you guys ever make a self indexing comp?

Can't go wrong with the 407k. And thank you! We're glad you like it.
I swear there's some stuff that nobody talks about in real life. "That mag release is AMAZING" is something I've only heard from Guntubers.
My Hellcat pro came with two 17 round mags and three 15 round mags from the factory. You can take the two round advantage away from Sig bro😂
Gotta throw my vote in for the Hellcat Pro. It's a great daily carry gun (speaking from experience). It's a little snappy because it's a smaller gun but not that bad imo.
I’m thinking buy it for Christmas for me everyone talking about the hellcat pro
I like hellcat pro but whoever says hellcat pro had phenomenal trigger it’s just flat out lie. It’s trigger is much worse then Glock. Trigger is more like long roll and takes forever to break
Cool vid
I hope you don’t wear that shirt to the range.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I great gun with a 17 round magazines
Just got one. Have cleaned it, not shot it yet. I'm a micro snob. Already have the 365 and Shield Plus. Said I wasn't going to do this again but here I am.
That is the most unsafe shirt you could wear anywhere near guys with guns
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
You forgot a can opener 😂
...because it's the perfect gun...duh!
I’m gonna disagree with you. Put 10k rounds through my gun and the trigger to me is complete dog shit. However the hellcat pro I believe is the best conceal carry gun for the money. Design wise hellcat pro is the best designed conceal carry for the money. Glock 43 is poo poo
I carry a Glock 19, that is the best gun in the world!
Second best compared to the Hellcat Pro.
@@Asidebar LOL! Maybe, they do sell many of those too...stay safe!
@@Asidebar Not even in it's league, Glock has is beat by many times, over and over! Glock 45 mos - is what I carry!
Hellcat pro trigger is AWFUL. I really wanted to love it but I’m sadly going to sell it
Hellcat Pro all day, especially with reliability....BWAHAAAAAA
Forgot the mc9 but I get it it’s better then all the guns mentioned on here
i wouldnt call your comp better considering SA comp is self indexing
Dude, your way off, the hellcat is a much better gun, the 365, sucks.
Because theyre beginners and dont know any better
I have a 15 round mag for my standard hellcat and a 13 🤨
Good review. I would go with an X Macro comp but, unfortunately, I live in California...
Buy CA P365 then the comp slide
@tb8517 I'm a lawyer and I have to research if that is legal.
Stupid Question? What’s the point of buying a compact light weight gun if you’re just going to bolt on a bunch weight to it ?
A compact gun with these accessories is still smaller than a bigger gun with the same accessories.
its so ugly.....why??
