The important thing to take into consideration is the water level always accelerates as it goes down because its not like a proportional glass with equal volumes at each level its like a martini glass. So when the lake is full, 1 foot of water may be 10 of billions of gallons but when its 1/4 full 1 foot of water may only be a million gallons. (not actual numbers)

Lake is shaped like this V.
With very gentle slopes at top.
So now, level may drop 30 or 40 feet per year.
Detail topography of lake per foot and some math will show how many acre feet per each 1 foot layer.
      But it doesn't look good.

Po co wam tu jakaś matematyka 🤔? Wzory etc. As the water recedes the lake bottom is less steep meaning a more pronounced drop in lvl is seen. There's no way it'll take a year to drop 20 feet when it's dropping 2-3 feet per week now. As it gets shallower the drop will be faster. Evaporation also speeds up as there more and more shallows that heat.

Watching all of the boats appear is cool but very scary for those who rely on that water. Wondering if it ever fill again. You have done a great job of explaining what everything is, how much the levels have gone down and comparing the differences from one video to the next. I hope you continue to do these videos as long as you can so not only for us to see but also a digital log of the way our country and world continues to change weather good or bad. Thank you for doing this.

How about a little hint on how it filled up? as that lake is a fairly modern addition to the local systems.

Right it’s the climates fault has nothing to with people squandering the water for there own personal gain like almond trees in the dessert.

Its all manmade water reservoirs, they started working on it when Nevada had like 91k people and the West areas it would be supporting was like 1 million tops, today Nevada is at 3M and the supporting area is over like 25M....yeah 100% climate change fault, climate change can be natural change btw, and so has nothing to do with it is now over what it was made to support.

Hey guys! Thank you for the videos! I have enjoyed them. We were at Boulder in 2019 and compared our pics to yours and guess-timated it has dropped 20+ feet since we were there. The drop will happen quicker now because there is less shoreline with every foot it drops, therefore less water overall. It is a serious situation for so many. Prayers. And a backup plan! Stay safe out there and God Bless.

NASA and the USAF can fill Hoover Dam to the brim if they want to but they won't.
CERN blew holes in our atmosphere. The radiation getting through our magnetic shields is extremely dangerous. Stay out of direct sunlight.
They are going to dry out the Colorado River south of the Hoover Dam.
Get ready for fires to burn all over.

Crazy to see how fast that lake is dropping in Western Australia we have desalination plants that produce fresh water to top up our water supplies. We also have water restrictions where you have to turn off reticulation systems over a few months and are only allowed only to water between 6pm and 6am 2 days a week on the days allowed according to the first number of your house. We also have to pay for the usage so the more you use the more it costs and it gets very expensive. Plus if you have a bore(well) you could water 3 times but this coming summer that’s changing to 2 days as well as so many people have them and that impacts on the ground water levels which also affects the aquifers as our water corporation uses some underground water to help supply water also. Our dams are only for water usage here but there is one down south that is available for recreation purposes like Lake Mead but nowhere as huge of course . Maybe they need to put water restrictions so that helps to keep the levels from dropping so much they have to do that in parts of Australia where the supply isn’t very big sometimes.

Here in So Cal we have emergency water restrictions in place. Washing cars at home or washing off driveways has been prohibited for years. Recently we went to watering outdoors only two days a week for 8 min. No more lawns. No watering ornamental grass at businesses or public spaces. Tickets and fines and limiters put on residential meters if you violate. Everyone I know doing whatever possible to conserve. Buckets in the shower to capture cold water, bucket in the kitchen by the sink.
