    TrueBrake is a tried and tested upgrade for the for the Logitech Brake Pedal. It changes the pedal to feel positive and realistic in a similar way to a load cell. It is the most appropriate and cost effective brake pedal mod available for your Logitech brake pedal.
    Changes your relationship with the brake pedal to a load based sensation
    Increases the load required to reach full braking
    Reduces the amount of brake pedal travel to a few millimeters.

      It's not a load cell. It's actually using a hall effect sensor for position data inside the metal thing. The position moved directly corelates with the amount of pressure applied to the part. Simulating a load cell.
      Although the logitech pedals have a rubber block to simulate a stiff break, supposedly the true break makes it much easier to break using pressure memory instead of positional muscle memory.

    I have a G923 with this (with 60% main spring), and it's a game changing difference. I couldn't imagine going back to the original brake pedal. Even though the pedal travel is minimal you can easily judge brake power by the amount of pressure you're applying and modulate it...making trail braking so much easier.

    Pro Tips :
    This Pedals Trap, are exactly the same from the very first racing wheel from logitech the G25 (that i still have). And those potentiometers (or position sensors as you called it) need a bit of conductive lubricant regularly and most important things to do is either block that window they have in the metal housing or mount your Pedals Trap Upside down to avoid gathering dust, hair, crap and sort..

    So I installed my pedal, paid £60 or so. Got the 60% spring, but to be honest I would recommend a stiffer spring as it's a little weak if I'm honest. The point is that the load sensor is not picking up much input until you reach the stopper, so whereas I thought the 60% spring (ok, 3/4 but still) would still have some resistance, it was really softer than I expected - I would rather a stiffer one to have more feel in the sense of lifting off the pedal when trailing, but of course that might just be me. Overall I have to say I'm a little disappointed, counter to most of the reviews on here. I wish I'd saved the money for CSL pedal set and at some point DD upgrade (when anything is in stock of course!). Maybe I'll change my mind, I've been using it for a week now. I would recommend maybe the 80% spring if this review resonates with you somehow!

    • @sonyx5332
      @sonyx5332 2 роки тому +1

      When I did my research, those that already used a load-cell pedal and this one, recommended to use the bigger buffer metal cap and I'm glad I did. I got them around this time of 2020. There's already a V2 of this mod but the one I bought are the V1 which I think use a stiffer spring too. Hopefully you try the stiffer spring and enjoy it more.

      @ab8jeh 2 роки тому +3

      Happy to say I changed my mind a little over time and got used to it with some minor sensitivity tweaks in the sims. I probably would still go for the 80% but the 60% is now working out quite well contrary to my earlier comment thankfully.
