Madness isn’t it? We allow a substance that turns civil people into absolute animals, we encourage it even. And yet, an alternative substance that makes you calm, quiet, and reflective is a crime…go figure….
Jeremy Moulton Every weekend in some cities the police deal with this stupid thuggery all night. Even when they charge individuals they’re just given a warning & are back doing it again the next weekend. It must be so frustrating!
For those feeling worried, most of these folks arrested are incredibly drunk. They probably don't remember being arrested let alone filmed...Won't say every person featured getting the smack-down is drunk. However, alcohol did affect many of these peoples' judgements.
All I can say is thank heavens for UK policing. I've just been watching videos of the US police and the egregious aggression and violence is disturbing. These officers are dealing with difficult people with good humour and their use of force is proportionate. As they say, it's only a tiny proportion causing the trouble, but it's a difficult job well done. Especially the officer who rescued a the suicidal kid - he literally saved a life there.
The uk police is not good compared to the rest of europe. They should be armed and generally they are years behind in riot control and with dealing with violence.

Just a quick one, Deb......... If you're harbouring any ideas about partying in the UK?....?.... Then don't! It's too crazy, you may recall? Personally, I think you could handle it........ I have no point of reference upon which I can base that opinion, so you'd be forgiven* for not wholeheartedly trusting my opinion. I haven't provided any references, it's true, but I wasn't expecting an inquisition....... Perhaps, I should have, you can't trust any old nutter you come across......... You can, you shouldn't, is more like it, in most cases you shouldn't, avoid disappointment. Have you ever been betrayed? Not my business, I'm sorry........ I have, by someone I trusted. If you ever have been, I'd bet it was someone who you trusted. Can you spot a pattern? How about the ridiculous idea I was going to suggest had some substance to it, but I think it's actually nonsense. If you can only be betrayed by those who you trust, then if you don't trust anyone you can't be betrayed. Not trusting anyone, that sounds like no fun, + that sounds like exactly what it says, it's hard to misinterpret, there's only one tree to bark up, you could say, doing so up the wrong one, with all the associate consequences that go along with such carelessness are quite simply no longer a concern. The fun absence is still in play though, don't forget that.......... * Not by me, but those who would are out there, somewhere, it doesn't really matter where, the point is, they exist. Try not to get hung up on where they are, maybe focus on the 'they'....... 'It's not where you are, it's where you're at.......' You can gain some measure of positivity from these words, but it's highly circumstantial. The first time they were offered to me it was intended to cheer me up but my circumstances just didn't fit.......... I was living in a 3rd world nation city slum (where you are), + I was miserable, unwell, + broke (where you're at). She meant well but, like I said about circumstances, they need to be 'right' + at the time mine weren't........... They were, in actual fact, 'wrong'........ From what was already a low point, it was brought to my attention that front + centre of what I called 'my life' were 2 large piles of pooh, steaming + of undetermined origin. One represented where I lived, worked, + spent all my time. The other, an equally impressive delivery, 4 coils no less, spoke of my life in general. The low point I'd been in had been replaced by another, almost identical, marker that only really differed in one way + that was it being that bit closer to rock bottom. I can laugh about it now........
One just needs to know the chilled places to go to, and to 'have a nose' to navigate through the more chaotic people with. I've got to my 40's and avoided trouble okay. :-)
@@mrnobody4237 You may well ask, I did go on a bit, didn't I? That poor girl, she's probably thinking, who is this nutter? Why is he posting such a lengthy reply? And I expect, wtf is he going on about? That might crop up, too..... WTAF? That was a new one on me....... I don't get out much..... I had to Google it, I'm a bit more hip, now, so thanks for that. I don't abbreviate very often, as you may have noticed, I tend to lean the other way. Oh well, I'm off to find something else to lean on........ British kids misbehaving is always fun, not to be around, from afar, about 6,000 miles works for me....... Another overcompensation, I wish I knew what it is I'm trying to make up for. It won't be easy identifying a single inadequacy from what I suspect will be a fair few, if I'm honest.... Thankfully, I'm not, so I'll manage the list until it becomes less of a list + take it from there. Self-improvement has always been important to me........ ooops, for me, I meant to say..... important for me.......

Higher fines? They don't even pay the current tariff... They're all benefit scroungers these type of retards... They need a good filling in that's all. Police need to turn the cctv off for 20 minutes and do everyone a favour.
Wendy H It costs a fortune in administration to (try to) collect fines. Once repeat offenders get a long list of offences + unpaid fines they go to court & then agree to pay 20p a month for decades, if/when they’re working, until they stop paying again... 🙄
looks like a typical night in the u.k.(been there 3 times). in the states we have more gun crime and worse problems with drugs but over there there is way more violence between strangers and it tends to be alot more random and severe when it happens.
Its pathetic and sad to arrest the boy for urinating and another one for swearing. The whole unit checks CCTV,locating drunk people. But they can't deal with knifecrime.
What do you mean they can't deal with it. They aren't eradicating the urination and disorder here completely either. The same goes for violent crimes where they use knifes for example. They can't eradicate that, because a knife is something everybody has in their kitchen. People get arrested all the time for violent crimes, and that's what the police can do. If people have the will, they can stab each other, but this will have consequences, simple.
I respect the police for doing their jobs because I should imagine it drives them crazy when they deal with drunks and people fighting and shouting in the streets but pushing people shouting at them and piling on them like a load of rugby players trying to grab the ball will make people even more angry if a judge says people don't know how to behave in a public place then he or she should have gone to Specsavers

The joys of alcohol, oh and weed is illegal. makes perfect sense.
Madness isn’t it? We allow a substance that turns civil people into absolute animals, we encourage it even. And yet, an alternative substance that makes you calm, quiet, and reflective is a crime…go figure….
Lmao yeah
Thank God for that policeman for saving that lad from drowning.
Great job cleaning it up buddies! Keep those streets safe😀😀😀😀
Jeremy Moulton Every weekend in some cities the police deal with this stupid thuggery all night. Even when they charge individuals they’re just given a warning & are back doing it again the next weekend. It must be so frustrating!
'you're being arrested, sir, for saying a naughty word while looking a bit scruffy' XD
18:17 when they started singing I need a hero when the officer was saving someone in the water 😂 I love drunk people 😂
Very well done officers! I sympathise with you! Pity the fine wasn't £1000 and 12 months community service! I.e like cleaning the bogs in the prisons.
Ear today, gone tomorrow!
So glad I don't go out drinking anymore and we have the police.
"Your ear is in a Jug"
LoL
Jug Lugs.
Puts a whole new meaning on 'jug ears'.
G'Day,Things aint changed much, now in my 70s and thats how I remember Saturday nights!
For those feeling worried, most of these folks arrested are incredibly drunk. They probably don't remember being arrested let alone filmed...Won't say every person featured getting the smack-down is drunk. However, alcohol did affect many of these peoples' judgements.
Puts a whole new meaning on 'Jug ears'.
Pity the police having to deal with all this ( everywhere )
Ours just collect bribes
Totally!
Are you dumb? Have you been living in a cave for the past 2 years?
It depends on the country. US allowed citizens to use guns. People here can shot the cops.
The uk police is not good compared to the rest of europe. They should be armed and generally they are years behind in riot control and with dealing with violence.
@@tonytran9538 thats doesnt mean anything. The whole EU has has a gun ban and thats not a reasom for disarming cops. My nation is the 3rd safest nation on earth, has a gun ban and all cops carry guns.
@@dedeferreira98 They're nutters, they absolutely should not be armed
Nice to see officers doing what they say they're going to do. A last warning needs to mean just that.
I was a cop back in the 70 s and crime was nothing compared to now! The government is allowing way too many people in and the police are overwhelmed plus TOO many drunks and. EXCESS drinking!
3:50 "oy you got a loicense for that language?!"
🇬🇧 police: Aye, mate! Mind your language!
Otherwise you’re going to get yourself into a trouble!☝️👮♂️
🇺🇸 police: ON THE GROUND! 🔫 👮♂️
"So I started blasting."
Acab
Grimsby weekend- 2 caught passing in a doorway, 1 person using bad language
Chicago weekend - 24 people shot, 9 fatalities.
That’s gun control in action.
We don’t have as much gun crime, but you never hear about acid attacks in Chicago.
Chicago is has probably got the strictest gun control in the USA
@@ch4z_bucks Well clearly not as strict as Grimsby
@@ch4z_bucks sure, but the rest of the country doesn't, which makes it much easier to get guns into chicago. Whereas in the UK the same laws applies to the entire landmass, so guns have to cross borders which is much harder and they are also of course illegal throughout the country so transporting them is more difficult as well.
@@luxx1346 acid attacks happen once in a blue moon, the difference in rate of acid attacks in the UK vs gun crime in the US is absolutely massive.
Those lads swear like sailors when they are sober, no restraining them when they are drunk...
From 2005? It's still so great documentary I thought it was recent. Not easy being a scotland yard those young people giving trouble they was totally out of their minds omg.😱
British can do without food but not without drinks😂😂
But we do it all without guns. It youth who get drunk. They grow out of it
Remind me to never try to party in the UK. That's just too crazy.
'It's not where you are, it's where you're at.......'
You can gain some measure of positivity from these words, but it's highly circumstantial.
@@sihammer7942 WTAF?
Self-improvement
has always been important to me........ ooops, for me, I meant to say..... important for me.......
Si Hammer what are you on about
As an American, it seems so weird to see people get arrested for cursing hahaha
It beats getting shot for it. 😁
Ben Peters : Dude, in your country no one curses while talking to a cop.
I'm British and i think its stupid
@@SpeccyMan shot for speaking? Is that how Orwellian your society is? 🤣
To the police officer who jumped into the water to rescue the man, bravo, your ever so brave for doing something immediately
After 35+ years, it was this sort of culture that was largely a reason why I left the UK. 100% respect to the Police dealing with this daily.
but arresting people is stupid though
Unbelievably this was when society still had certain standards.
I feel sorry for the Police having to deal with these drunken scumbags every weekend. I never socialize in the City center because of all these yobs who ruin it for all the decent people trying to enjoy themselves. It's better to drink local because you're safer insofar that most people know you in your local and will support you is any Yobs target you.
I get why ppl ate annoyed he got nicked for swearing. But he was actually arrested for swearing AT THEM , after being warned. He was being aggressive towards an officer at the end of the day , the line has to be drawn some where and you wouldn't do it sober.
ok but a judge said its not a crime to swear at the police
An eye for an eye is now an ear for an ear !!
as a american i must say the police are very professional and cool headed dealing with a bunch of drunks, unfortunately our drunks are or seem to be more violent, i have 3 family members that are in law enforcement and pray every day they come home alive, sad to say we are a violent country at times,.God bless all law enforcement people.
4:20, swearing? On a night out? oh noooooo..
Meanwhile, 15:20, flashing in public totally fine though. Such a joke lmao
Grimsby and Hull... 2 jewels in the Kingdom’s crown. EU this is why its better that they Brexited from you - be very grateful 🤣
The guy who pegged it was rapid. Shame he didn’t get to use his stamina on a lass that night.
cop to criminal; "ya cheeky monkay I strongly suggest you refrain!" oh ok suury mate lol
7:06 is like an alternative opening for Love Actually.
In the good old days we went out on a Friday and Saturday night, had a good time, and went home quietly without causing any trouble, so what's gone wrong with our society
Bring back licensing hours.
Who would really want to be a police officer , my god what a job
Keep up the good work Officers.
Anybody glassing someone or bottling someone should get a mandatory 10 years in prison.
Grimsby, mmmm, I think the clue is in the name. Lovely. 👍
Same goes for Scunthorpe.
My goodness what disgusting behaviour, they should be slapped with higher fines then maybe they will behave better!
Arresting for swearing is just a waste of money.
@@DMWBN3 No it's for a public order offence.
It’s like a night in Blackburn,! The madness and degree of violence I saw and was involved in , so glad I moved to Australia
Naughty words and uranating we can all sleep safe
looks like a typical night in the u.k.(been there 3 times). in the states we have more gun crime and worse problems with drugs but over there there is way more violence between strangers and it tends to be alot more random and severe when it happens.
Interesting to know, I wouldn't have guessed that. It's probably because there are many more people getting much more drunk here in the UK on average.
It’s not that long ago that a Saturday night out wasn’t I night out if it didn’t end in a fist fight.
If people have the will, they can stab each other, but this will have consequences, simple.
the swearing part is stupid but urinating is nudity is it?
@@ZombiestFeverIdk.Maybe.But the boy didn't shake his willy in front of the people. He was turned away doing his business

You cant put every single person in their though can you
"I've got your ear in a jug" ..only in the UK
Applause to that copper who jumped in the water
I respect the police for doing their jobs because I should imagine it drives them crazy when they deal with drunks and people fighting and shouting in the streets but pushing people shouting at them and piling on them like a load of rugby players trying to grab the ball will make people even more angry if a judge says people don't know how to behave in a public place then he or she should have gone to Specsavers
honestly all my respect to that man who jumped in the water after that guy
i guess the 128 dislikes are from the perpetrators seen in this episode?
2009 I was in Tunbridge Wells, that used to be bastion of maiden aunts and middle class sobriety. I was amazed to see a similar mindset.
Gone are the days of going for a quiet pint. It’s all loud music and getting hammered.
Kind of a shame really.
I've not set foot in a club or pub since I've turned 18, for drinking anyway. I've been a few times with family for a lunch time meal but the drinking culture within this nation is disgusting
Whatever happened to ‘Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells’? 😉
