Also, the central plot is more compact than it looks with the park's service road splitting it up. Wouldn't be surprised if Six Flags builds a custom Mack family spinner there in 2025 instead. The park desperately needs an intense multi-looper, but they won't get it until Demon bites the dust.

This didn't age well lol at about the time this dropped, @Amusement Insiders revealed that construction trailers have arrived in the White Water Canyon area of Wonderland which virtually guarantees the 2025 coaster will be the family GCI/Zambezi clone
Question: How/when will we know the 2024 month that Top Thrill 2 will open? I am trying to plan a visit for a lot of people and we were thinking May, but I'm worried it won't be open by then....
Cedar Point usually opens their coasters on opening day. With a project as big as Top Thrill 2 that is already rumored to be behind schedule, it's basically a coinflip.
Hi Brandon I saw coaster concept video for Six Flags Fiesta Texas in the Boardwalk area it looks to be a nice size coaster 200+feet. I hope to see you at the next Roller Coaster Rodeo. I hope it won’t be too hot next year.
I could see SFMM getting a tilt coaster in 2025. The plot where Golden Bear Theater currently is would be a decent place for it. But yeah, the park needs to get their act together to make more rides available to the public on a consistent, daily basis. Hopefully the refurbishments on Apocalypse and Ninja are done soon.
If only Six Flags would relocate La Ronde's Batman clone to Darien Lake (replacing Mind Eraser), where it could actually open under the Batman moniker. Then, the combined Vampire & Cobra plot would be big enough for Full Throttle. With that narrow plot and the Golden Bear site open at Magic Mountain, they could go crazy with a massive Vekoma Tilt or sizeable B&M Wing coaster. But I'm skeptical they'll get anything huge in 2025 - if they did, would bet on a B&M Dive replacing Viper. They desperately need a popular people-eater next to X2.
@@quentenmajoor5861 It will if Six Flags decides to sell La Ronde (technically their lease) to Merlin, who would properly invest in it. Replacing Vampire with Full Throttle would make the park more appealing to Merlin, while giving another Six Flags park a Batman coaster. I'd be surprised if Six Flags is still operating 15 parks by the end of the decade.
@@brianfoss571 It wouldn't make any sense For Darien Lake to replace Mind Eraser with a ride themed towards Batman given that they are spending a lot of money to re-theme the entire area as Steamtown. We'll see what the planned upgrades to Mind Eraser do for rideability and see how the ride itself is rethemed to fit the new area theming. As to replacing Viper, back in July the SFMM Twitter was giving Viper some love so it's doubtful that it'll be replaced, and it doesn't need to be. It's reliable and low maintenance and is one of the few rides running more than one train regularly. Retrack a couple of rough spots in the layout, new trains with different restraints, and some paint and its good to go. A new high capacity water ride like a Super Flume would do well for the park as a people-eater near the theater since Log Jammer was removed for Full Throttle and Jet Stream has been closed a lot. Or they could go more unique and put in a Big Wavez to offer a different kind of water thrill ride that's not flume/coaster-like.
@@psychopompinc.646 I thought the Steamtown overhaul was for Six Flags America, not Darien Lake? And I get that SFMM's Viper still runs well with good capacity, but there are only so many areas in the park where Magic Mountain could add their next major coaster. Unless they're going to replace Superman: EFK with a stratocoaster, there aren't really any large areas suitable for a coaster over 200 feet tall.
Would love to see some of your merch be around being "old" but still loving coasters, stuff like "Riding coasters keeps me young" "I'm oldish but still riding coasters", etc...just some thoughts from a 40 something that is still obsessed with coasters 😊
I really hope Canada’s Wonderland builds the blast coaster even if it doesn’t open in 2025. That coaster could really put that park on the map big time.
For F&FHD they already have cleared out most of the hillside if not all by now. If this thing goes vertical in a month or so than maybe a 2024 opening? Hopefully? I have heard a while back that youtuber ThemeParkWizard was thinking this was 18 months. Most likely early to mid 2025 in my opinion, but they are working rapid fire on my future #1 Fast and Furious! It will be my first NEW GEN INTAMIN and Iove Intamin so I am so stoked! #HollywoodDriftFamily 4 LIFE!!
I'm skeptical Kings Island's getting the Vortex replacement in 2025. Why? Because Snoopy's Soap Box Racers was probably a *late decision* for Kings Island. It's an off-the-shelf 208m Rebound - by far Vekoma's most common Family Boomerang layout. So Cedar Fair might be reconsidering their original plans for the Vortex plot, or pushing it back. Not taking any of Canada's Wonderland's proposals seriously either. They're just ways to gauge from the GP whether White Water Canyon should be removed, if Wonder Mountain's worth overhauling, or how many people would miss Kingswood Theatre. For 2025, I'm betting *Valleyfair!* will get a B&M mini dive, *Kings Dominion* will get a launched wing in Volcano's plot, and *Carowinds* will add a Mack water coaster or racing Family Boomerangs.
Not epic coasters, but also in 2025, I could see Valleyfair open a new generation Vekoma inverted coaster just like you predicted. it would not break any records, but it would be a new coaster for the park. Adventureland Iowa. again, nothing epic unless they were to RMC "Tornado"! As much as I think they should, they won't & then, they have little space to work with, but they could add a very compact coaster with about the same footprint as "Dragon Slayer". two models come to mind...either a Premeir Rides "Skyrocket 2" or Zamperla's "Double Heart Coaster". the 70 meter Zamperla "Double Heart Coaster" would give them something that checks all of the boxes...their tallest rollercoaster, their fastest rollercoaster, a launch coaster which they do not have, & something that has a very small footprint. here, I am talking about the lesser coasters that could happen but could be huge for these two parks.
I think SFStL could finally RMC the Boss. They’re not investing big money in the park. So you have a win / win with a “new” coaster, a local hit, season pass uptick and a world class coaster for 1/3 the price of a ground-up build.
SFOG could benefit having an RMC Raptor for 2025. If not, it can either be for 2026 or on their 60th anniversary since Fun Spot’s AireForce One is showing signs of driving people in the Atlanta away from coming to Six Flags
So - peeps are going to Fun Spot INSTEAD of SFOG simply because of the ONE good coaster there, which most peeps will ride at most a few times? Not saying you're wrong - just that I'm surprised.
BGW currently has 10 coasters. BGT lost one this year so they’re down to 9….they’ve had more than BGW for ages now…honestly I see a hyper/Giga at BGT before an RMC at BGW.
For Great America, I could see them finally investing into American Eagle, since they are also replacing Revolution in that area of the park. Maybe the new pendulum ride is part of a “phase” to bring guests back to that area of the park.
I was at SFGAm earlier this year, and I thought it was a terrific park, wishing that if I had a home SF park, it could be that one. I thought American Eagle was a darn good ride as is, but a refurb would be terrific too. I think that was the one with the REALLY long walk to it? Or was that Viper (also a great ride). Either way, that sure whetted the appetite!
I hate super thick heavy restraints so a dive coasters with something like that is meh to me. We've seen a few of those open in pass year or two. Candawonderland should do an RMC. I actually believe every park should have one. They are staple in innervation, smooth, fun, just top notch.
What if somebody just designed a restraint that behaved like a rubber band? It would allow quite a bit of freedom AND safety on any element, and only exert enough force to keep you on during whatever force the rollercoaster was imparting to your body. That would something worth exploring, I think.
If SeaWorld is only 200 feet high, how this nothing under rated park getting a 250 feet tall coaster,, along with bush gardens trying for their own giga over 350,, this single rail would be weirdo desperado style in Nevada
When you mentioned Busch Gardens Williamsburg possibly getting a replacement for Drachen Fire, I was surprised to see that you never mentioned Kings Dominion getting a replacement for Volcano: The Blast Coaster. If they can build something in 2025 as well, thrill seekers will have two reasons to visit Virginia instead of one.
I’m probably wrong but I have a strong feeling and or hope that Kennywood will get a new major coaster of some type for the 2025 season expially because as far as I am aware this coming 2024 season for them isn’t going to have any new rides or any thing except for more park improvements and etc and curtain opened quite a bit ago now I think it’s about time! Where and what it would be idk expially because palace has changed a lot I would say in a good way sense they added curtain back in 2019, and there corporate offices are now in Pittsburgh so things are a bit different! What I would like to see most there would be a Thrilling top tier RMC coaster of some type, but I would be happy with anything expially if it’s a really good thrilling coaster
SFGAm is my home park. Although unlikely, I would like to see American Eagle titan tracked so it could race again, or something like Fahrenheit as the 16th
Magic Mountain actually isn't overdue for a new coaster, not nearly to the extent New England is. While New England's a great choice for a budget Intamin, it might be possible to squeeze a Vekoma Top Gun launch coaster in that site. And if Six Flags focuses on smaller investments in 2025, wouldn't be shocked if Six Flags Mexico sells Tsunami to La Feria and replaces it with a Gravity Group woodie. Darien Lake desperately needs a larger Vekoma SFC by the main entrance, and Six Flags owes La Ronde a replacement for Super Manege - maybe a Sierra Sidewinder clone?
@@brucejensen2693 Definitely meant Sierra Sidewinder. Although it's highly unlikely La Ronde would get anything, that's probably the most we can hope for...
@@brianfoss571 OK, gotcha. Sierra Sidewinder being the Cedar Fair unit, was not sure where you were going with this idea. That would be nice, but SF seems to be in business with Vekoma these days, which means they might get a Kid Flash clone or similar.
@@brucejensen2693 They still added a Mack PowerSplash this year, though. Likely a one-off since that was intended for the cancelled Dubai project, but would like to think they're willing to buy a couple of their spinning family coasters.
I agree with you on Six Flags great America. "Sky Striker " is just something to tide us over to 2025 for the real announcement that would come later next season. & you called it! you said their next attraction would be a flat ride..either a Skyflyer or a Zamperla Giga Giant Discovery. I would not ride a skyflyer. high swings...not my thing. I will certainly try that ride. I might even love it! the Zamperla Giga Discoveries look pretty damn intense. My favorite flat ride is one that KMG calls "The Inverter"..so I could find myself loving another high intensity flat ride, but yes, a new coaster in 2025!
I would love to see KI make a homage to Vortex. That ride was one of their signature coasters for decades. If Busch Gardens gets that RMC, I'll have to make a trip down to Virginia that year.

Awesome video. However, I'm not seeeing the concept coaster video, in the description.
Interesting, the description on my end doesn't say anything about the coaster concept. - that video is coming soon :) thank you!
Would love to see some of your merch be around being "old" but still loving coasters, stuff like "Riding coasters keeps me young" "I'm oldish but still riding coasters", etc...just some thoughts from a 40 something that is still obsessed with coasters 😊
Great idea! Ill play around with it!
What new coaster is Busch Gardens Tampa getting in 2024?
Supposedly a family coaster
Would be amazing
I really hope Canada’s Wonderland builds the blast coaster even if it doesn’t open in 2025. That coaster could really put that park on the map big time.
We need a wing or a axis for kings island
fun spot would get a wild moose from RMC if anything
Great idea!
It looks great!! But I think 2025
I'd love a rmc son of beast rather than revenge of janky vortex
I would love to see what VF will add coaster wise! Soon!
Why has Cali parks balked on gigas in the past?
Earthquakes.......maybe
I think SFStL could finally RMC the Boss. They’re not investing big money in the park. So you have a win / win with a “new” coaster, a local hit, season pass uptick and a world class coaster for 1/3 the price of a ground-up build.
As I mentioned elsewhere, I think Boss is already a world class coaster, at least in the wood department, except for it's horrible track.
King’s Dominion? We still have no replacement for Volcano, and Anaconda is getting pretty old…. (Tumbili is the replacement for "The Crypt")
They could for sure! I hope so!!
Gotta love an RMC singer rail coaster😂
Singer?
I didn't know that RMC was a singer
BGW currently has 10 coasters. BGT lost one this year so they’re down to 9….they’ve had more than BGW for ages now…honestly I see a hyper/Giga at BGT before an RMC at BGW.
I hope you’re right!
Years ending in 5 are good for coasters. Look at 2005 kingda ka and hades opened. 2015 we had fury, twisted colossus, wicked cyclone, and thunderbird.
Very true!!
Are you aware that RMC markers popped up at Canada's Wonderland the other day?
I am not! I hope it's legit! Thank you for sharing
@@TP_Recommendations I only know about it from Brendan at Amusement Insiders channel
This is so exciting😮
What about knott's berry farm and busch gardens tampa giga?
We shall see!
BRO WHERE DOES THIS MAN GET THESE PREDICTIONS FROM THIS JAWN ACTUALLY MAKES NO SENSE💀💀😂😂😂
Jawn? What at mean
@@TP_Recommendations it’s like slang for any person place or thing also I was just joking your videos are great
We're vf .....💯💯👍👍👌👌You Post the park map..but didn't talk about it...
What I would like to see most there would be a Thrilling top tier RMC coaster of some type, but I would be happy with anything expially if it’s a really good thrilling coaster
keep ridin
At 11:31, you used the wrong credits...thats a clip of amusement insiders his video, not escape design
I think 2025 is the year of Universal both Hollywood & definitely Orlando w/ the 4 new coasters opening in Epic Universe
Sierra Sidewinder or Sidewinder Safari? 'Cuz one is a lot better than the other...
@@brianfoss571 Good point!
You know there is parks outside of America like Europe but you’re a classic American person so you don’t care about the rest of the world
I'm going to MM probably in June 2024 so I hope they get their act together
I'd like to see B&M take a crack at a launched invert. Something smaller so we end up with the intensity of a Batman but launched.
There is a possibility of a tilt coaster, and Six Flags Magic Mountain has been teasing giga. Here’s a crazy idea how about a giga tilt coaster
Great America is gonna rmc American eagle
I’d be down for that!
You will love the Giga discovery!!! They are soo much fun
I'm from Australia and our theme parks are getting new coasters and other rides which I can't wait for.
I predict that no matter how much I love coasters and want to ride them even with Dramamine I will still get major motion sickness 😂
BGW is definitely getting something big in 2025! I cannot wait!
honestly i think the trex at a funspot park is a bit of a stretch, maybe a raptor would be more realistic
I’m just waiting to ride into cedar point 2024 and see that new skyline
Bruh your UA-cam channel name is longer than universal ride wait times
dont forget abt sfsl rmc boss
I hope it happens!
They better not clone cliffhanger fiesta needs more custom coasters
2024 Gurnee my home park is getting a giant spin wheel
I would love to see KI make a homage to Vortex. That ride was one of their signature coasters for decades.
If Busch Gardens gets that RMC, I'll have to make a trip down to Virginia that year.
I would love for both to happen!!
O no they are going to tare down viper.... i dont want them to tare down viper!
cedar point can do anything I mean they’re cedar point
