Man you can see Otto look at Peter with such gratefulness that he gets to see and talk to him again. I believe Otto was obviously guilty about how they left things and he was looking for retribution. Such a beautiful moment
Not to be grammar police but I believe redemption is the word you’re looking for
Based on how his character's arc in Raimi Spiderman ended I would have been offended if they had these characters interact in any other way. Not to mention that he was basically an ally to them in this film which was a perfect part for him to play. He turned against the arms' control of him and sacrificed himself in the Raimi story because at his core he was always a good man. Just a tragic figure.

Watched it in theatre, couldn't hear half the movie because people were screaming at every good scene. Same with endgame, everyone stood up screaming like monkeys, have t seen a movie in theatre since, ended up just buying a 120" projector.

@@albertgutierrez7036 I'll only disagree that I feel it was his grief, where his guilt was pushed down for blame and IF he HAD stabilized a sun that large at that moment, he may have forever blamed peter since it meant his work wasn't flawed and it gave way to believing spiderman shouldn't have touched his work. Its why I feel Otto is my hero, cause no matter the logic, the upbringing and strength of will, sometimes you have to let go of that frustration which is the hardest thing for me.

You can in this scene, how close of friends they had been and how tragic the loss had been for Peter to loose a friend and respected man to first evil the death. Now seeing him once more, u can feel how powerful the emotions are.
