However there are micromanaging behaviours by the top management and I consider leaving for a new challenge, targeting same C-suit role in my profession but to another most promising and high paying sector. Is this a wise decision or there are any downsides to make this move? Could you suggest other methods to increase salary faster 3x or 5x other than job switching and depending upon number of work experience in years ? Does any book talks about it..
If you stay in the same company, convince your boss that you're due for a promotion to a higher position that covers a much larger, significantly larger area of responsibilities! Of course it's not that easy, for that you'd need to have proven yourself capable and have all your receipts (data, stats on how you increased profit, sales, or efficiency, saving costs, for the company).
