Agreee. It always seemed so mystical. lol. This video made it super easy to follow. Bravo. Cheers
Happy to be of help.. That’s why I’m here..
Thanks for watching..All the best.. C.B. :)
I love how he simplified it and it can still be simplified even more. Both, Paradiddle, left hand lead into padadas and repeat.
The way you broke the rhythm into parts, made it so easy to learn. Believe me, I learned it in just one hour. And saying that it looks more complicated than it really is will give learners confidence. Thank you so much. Please do a lesson on afro-cuban.
Hi, thanks for watching....
I’m glad my break down of the “Mozambique” was of help and YES, it gives ALL students great confidence. Just last week I taught a 4 year old student how to play the “Mozambique”.
Which Afro-Cuban Rhythm would you like me to upload? As I do take requests. Let me know and I will do my best.
All the best..... Chris Brien..

That's great Chris. I have watched several videos to learn this beat and couldn't get it until you explained it in sections, which helped me to get it right- so I wrote it down and followed it. R L RR - L R L - R R L - R R L - R (R+L). Genius! Thanks loads!

More cow bell!
Just kidding. Nice job. I'm going to have to put my cow bell back on my Mapex kit and give it a try.
Cowbell re-installed, and staying there!
Awesome news !!! “We All Need MORE COWBELL”.... Thanks for watching David B. ..... Chris Brien..
Got the beat down with left hand on snare, tough part is trying to move the left hand to the toms.
just wondering, whats that wall behind you made out of?
Hey Great Mozambique Groove you have! Question; So can create that cowbell sound have...What size cowbell do you recommend and on a budget, what brand?
I’ve seen online Stagg brand looks affordable...would a Stagg work if the correct size?
Thanks, Brad
Hi Brad Svoboda, thanks for watching and for your kind comment.
The cowbell I am using is an L.P. Mambo Cowbell of which is about 9 inches in length..And I’m using the “Steve Gadd L.P. Cowbell clamp” of which is attached to the bass drum.... Regarding a less expensive brand, there are many BUT make sure that which ever cowbell you get that it has a strong attachment clamp (most of which are a “eye and socket” design) otherwise your cowbell will keep coming loose from the cowbell holder and it will drive you crazy...
Happy drumming and keep “Corona Virus Safe”.... Chris B. :)
Thank you Chris for your reply and helpful advice! And for your great drum lesson videos!
I appreciate the fellow drummers who subscribe to your website as well. So appreciate all you fellow drummer’s encouragement as well!

@@bradsvoboda9391 thanks mate, you’re more than welcome :). . If you have any more questions please ask as we are all in this together..... Chris B.
👍😁
Two doubles after the single on the right hand and there's a pickup note that you're not even talking about.... Also hands together is a bad idea because that pickup note is really important .
