My favorite was the white embossed grey with the watercolor petals! Just lovely! I love greys too especially for home decor with white and pops of color. Gorgeous!

Bless you for doing this video, I know what your going through I had this in early December and still have it .I went doctors and they said it was a viral infection ,and people were calling it the hundred day cough . I've been using steam 4 times a day and it's helped .hope your better soon ❤

I really like that large floral bouquet stamp! Very pretty with white on the greys panel! I didn’t do any cards today but I quickly looked up the tissue paper video and watched it just a few seconds to get the tissue on the panel. I have wanted to do that since I saw it! I have 3 drying and I want to see if I can add a bit of color with watercolor paints diluted with water. I’m so happy I finally got that tissue on there!!!

I have exactly the same problem since end of December, had a laryngeal endoscopy and i have nerve damage on left vocal cord, CT scan next Wednesday. As i stay on my own i can predict its not because i talk too much 😂 good luck ❤
As far as cleaning the sticky mat, just use a bit of dish soap like dawn or whatever you have and wash it, rinse well and let it air dry. That should bring the sticky back to it.
I need some advice please. I have a Cricut, and I've recently got into card making. I'm saving up for a splurge on some craft supplies (and most likely a die cutting machine) but I want to try stamps and inks too. These Catherine Pooler inks are right up my street, I love the contemporary colours and I love watching you create all of these wonderful backgrounds with embossing powders etc. Where should I start?
Oh gosh, well, if you already have a Cricut then you’re halfway there, you can cut your own card bases and shapes etc, I would choose just a few ink pads in your favourite colours and a set of sentiment stamps and go from there, do over do it, or you’ll just spend loads of money and use hardly any of it. Xxx
@marionemberson I found a UK based site that stocks a lot of US brands. At least the postage won't be ridiculous. I think I'll take your advice on the ink pads. I can make stencils with my Cricut and play around with them. Thank you Marion! Xx
Hi Marion. Can you please help me as a newbie. I'm a bit confused about cardstock, I have bought 300gsm for the bases but what weight do I use for the front panels? I'm sure this is a very basic knowledge,but I can't seem to find an answer when I google it. Hope you can help. X K
Hi Kathryn, it’s really down to personal preference, the WOW Cardstock I use is 250gsm and it’s perfect, although I know others that really like 300 gsm for a base and the same for a panel. The other thing I really go on is the colour, I love pure bright white and WOW Cardstock gives me that. I have the Neenah classic crest, which I really like, but it’s just not the lovely white I like 🥴🥴🥴 as you’ve already got 300 gsm, please use that, I wouldn’t go more than that for cards though, if you wanted to make boxes etc then a 350 gsm is good. I hope that helps xxx

Sorry you aresuffering, have missed your posts. re the watercolouring, try putting water on your petals first then dab in your colour and let it run and spread much like you did your background. then you can build up the darker inner petal colours and be more subtle with it.
We've missed you!! But totally understand, YOU come first! That blasted cough just hangs on. Be patient. We understand your voice/speech very well.

I have exactly the same problem since end of December, had a laryngeal endoscopy and i have nerve damage on left vocal cord, CT scan next Wednesday. As i stay on my own i can predict its not because i talk too much 😂 good luck ❤

As far as cleaning the sticky mat, just use a bit of dish soap like dawn or whatever you have and wash it, rinse well and let it air dry. That should bring the sticky back to it.

I need some advice please. I have a Cricut, and I've recently got into card making. I'm saving up for a splurge on some craft supplies (and most likely a die cutting machine) but I want to try stamps and inks too. These Catherine Pooler inks are right up my street, I love the contemporary colours and I love watching you create all of these wonderful backgrounds with embossing powders etc. Where should I start?
Oh gosh, well, if you already have a Cricut then you’re halfway there, you can cut your own card bases and shapes etc, I would choose just a few ink pads in your favourite colours and a set of sentiment stamps and go from there, do over do it, or you’ll just spend loads of money and use hardly any of it. Xxx
@marionemberson I found a UK based site that stocks a lot of US brands. At least the postage won't be ridiculous. I think I'll take your advice on the ink pads. I can make stencils with my Cricut and play around with them. Thank you Marion! Xx

Hi Marion. Can you please help me as a newbie. I'm a bit confused about cardstock, I have bought 300gsm for the bases but what weight do I use for the front panels? I'm sure this is a very basic knowledge,but I can't seem to find an answer when I google it. Hope you can help. X K
Hi Kathryn, it’s really down to personal preference, the WOW Cardstock I use is 250gsm and it’s perfect, although I know others that really like 300 gsm for a base and the same for a panel. The other thing I really go on is the colour, I love pure bright white and WOW Cardstock gives me that. I have the Neenah classic crest, which I really like, but it’s just not the lovely white I like 🥴🥴🥴 as you’ve already got 300 gsm, please use that, I wouldn’t go more than that for cards though, if you wanted to make boxes etc then a 350 gsm is good. Sorry you aresuffering, have missed your posts. re the watercolouring, try putting water on your petals first then dab in your colour and let it run and spread much like you did your background. then you can build up the darker inner petal colours and be more subtle with it.
