- The Union cabinet on Thursday approved the hike of Dearness Allowance (DA) for the Central Government employees and and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners by 4 per cent effective from January 1, 2024, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said.

It's the tax of Private employees which is collected to pay pensions to these govt. employees. There is nothing to be proud of a govt. employee. Its like a mark of a corrupted person gets stamped on your forehead. Just study and settle abroad, that's the only option, bcz its like a reservation itself.

Thanks Sir. But you also consider for giving 18 months. DA freezed during COVID period. Now our economy considerably better than earlier. So you may kindly sanction the above period at the earliest as before Election.

More improvements should be brought to pensioners scheme and the pensioners should be more happy with the benifits that will be introduced by the Government after the LS elections.A pensioners bill should be highlighted in the parliament and during budjet sessions so that it could be more beneficial to pensioners after hearing the news of rotatory circulation of amount that will be given to every pensioners.
