Pune Porsche accident: Father of drunk teen driver and owner, manager of bar arrested

- Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor accused in the Pune Porsche crash case, was detained from Maharashtra's Sambajinagar on Tuesday morning, news agency ANI reported quoting police. Agarwal was on the run after his son was detained in connection with the rash driving case which claimed two lives in city's upscale Kalyaninagar area on Sunday. The owner and manager of the bar, where the teen was seen drinking in the CCTV footage have been arrested.

When the judge is going to be arrested
I'm certain there's a rule prohibiting the provision of alcohol to minors. A case should be filed against the pub, and the father should be held accountable for the two deaths. He should be made an example of and sentenced to 28 years in prison. Once the child reaches adulthood, this irresponsible drunk driver should be sent back to jail to complete the remainder of the jail term, and the father should be released.
It will never happen his father is rich

There is a rule but if you’re rich kid you are exempt by grace of god.
He is just 4 months away from 18, he should be tried under adult law, especially after the Nirbhaya incident minors above 16 are to be considered as adults when involved in a heinous crime like this.

The boy getting beaten up is not vedant its his frnd ayush sood. Vedant was wearing a black shirt on the day of the accident and not a white shirt. I know the police are going to take appropriate action on the accused since the incident has gotten too much media attention now.
But the problem is the mindset of the police and the judge on the treatment they probably gave to the accused. I am sure they would have taken the accused under custody gently knowing that he will be in a state of shock at that moment. They would have tried to calm him down and explain him all the procedures that will be undertaken and even bought him food to make him relax. This is not bad. This is how it should be. The law will take care of the accused in the correct manner and the accused will be sent to jail if proven guilty.
The problem is if the same crime was committed by a middle class man driving maruti alto, they would have literally dragged him through the streets and broken his bones at the station.
The reason? With rich kid, they are not following the rules.. they are just expecting to get some money if the accused is released. With middle class man, they know they will get nothing.. so they show their arrogance.
I'll never respect an indian police man simply because of this reason. Everyone act the same way. Speaking based on the experience of being questioned by policemen because my father was involved in civil case few years back
