100% if they can add edge coverage with the same "always clean" and mopping performance of the S1 (none of the rolling mop implementations so far have been - be it switchbot or eureka) we'd be onto a winner
@@JP-ue8ni Yeah looks like the new Narwal Flow solved that one thing. I want the vacuum wars guy to compare them both, but I know he takes time to review products. Probably won’t have a review out on it for a few months.
Yeah the mapping can be very frustrating. In my house the living room is slightly elevated so the robot needs to be lifted there and do it separately. But it won't allow me to save two separate maps. I've tried but it overwrites the old one no matter what... Plus there are tons of issues with locating. If I do a cleaning in the living room it will make a new map and I have to delete it, however the next time if I try to do the rest of the house it will not be able to locate itself from the dock but I have to bring it to the edge of my house for it to be able to locate itself... They've brought some firmware updates for especially avoiding carpets with fringes and that's good but I wish they fixed the whole mapping issue. Probably these new models will have better support and they aren't bothering with updating the software for the old models.
@@RCmies it feels like robot vaccum company make stupid mistakes by purpose, next version they fix one problem and then new problem appear. I have xiaomi x20+ and that is kinda new one but it uses cold air to dry the pads hehe.
Did you manage to get a look at the eufy combo vaccum? I'm excited to see your take on it. My old eufy vaccum needs an upgrade and im also looking at a shark stratos for a cordless upright. But the new combo eufy might solve it all in one, if it actually does what it says😅
It’s not on sale yet. I was surprised at the price so asked the rep again and he said $299. Their current GOAT GX-600 is $849 on their website. I hope I’m not wrong because it seems surprisingly low.
@@vacuumnerds Hopefully it's going to be as affordable. At that price it would totally change the robot mower market based on the prices for those things I've seen.
Ecovacs' demonstration of technological progress this time is the smallest compared with Dreame, Roborock and Narwal. The other three companies have already demonstrated their next-generation technologies, but Ecovacs only showed the products that were released last year.
Eufy made right move with S1 Pro for Mopping. Everyone should follow that with dirty and clean water tank with rolling mop.
Agreed - curious how this and the new Narwal will stack against the Eufy
I like the mop roller style. It is quite effective in our testing

Ecovacs needs to fix there app. There pricing and value is good, hardware is comprable but there app is garbage and makes the vacuum not so smart.

The overwhelming negative app reviews was one of the main reason why I chose the Bagless Eureka E20 over the Ecovacs/Yeedi versions.

I'll have a video on it in the next few days.
299 for a robot mower is huge if true (assuming that it works properly of course).
A quick Google search tells me that it looks like he meant to say $2999
I'm dying if that's true 😂😂
Also boondocks

They are going for more of a value play imo. Their products are priced a bit lower on the high end.
Can't wait for more roller mops Robo to be released. It's far superior
Just hope they all vacuum better than the s1 pro

Thanks for filming and supporting our work together!
