Its a good idea, I have seen it be used and I am not 100% convinced it would work for me. Not yet anyway, but I have definately been proved wrong before. Thank you for the comment. :)
That's a nice kitbash. I'm always tempted to give kitbashing a proper try, but I think I'd probably mess it up. On another note, do those thumbnails actually help bring viewers to the channel? I know they're probably meant to give a sense of mystery so that people click to see what the finished model looks like, but I can't help thinking it might bring even more viewers if people could see in the thumbnail how good the final thing looks.
I am a supporter of trying kitbashing. If you are interested in trying it out, maybe just a few head swaps or weapon swaps to start with. To be honest, I am not 100% sure if it helps, however, I did ask my viewers what they prefer and the mysterious element was a factor as to why they liked the thumbnails. I will try the other at some point, but currently this is working for me. Thank you for watching and the comment. :)
I will be honest, I do not know 😂. When I do that normally Its because I am making sure the thinner 'normal' glue is in the smaller gaps that the goo may not of quite reached, just to create a better connection. Is wasn't really the case for the belt, probably just force of habit. 😊
If you don't mind, can I recommend a Conversion of the Legion Praetor of Imperial fists sometime? Personally, I saw your broadcast when I was struggling to convert the Power Armor Model and Terminator Model into the Minotaurs chapter. Awesome! If you haven't decided on your next work, I recommend it carefully. It would be very helpful if a craftsman like you could demonstrate the work.
Just so I am clear, you wanted to see a conversion of both the Legion Praetor I power armour and terminator armour into something from the Minotaurs? So I understand your comment. 😁 thank you for the comment too.
@@WePaintMinis Yes, I am trying to change two Legion Praetor models(Power armor/Terminator) of Imperial fists to Minotaurs concept. Grind Legion symbol relief, add Minotaurs symbols, change colors, etc... At the moment I was wondering if I could change it to be more Minotau-like, I saw this video. I was really impressed by the skill of the craftsman, so I only spoke about it once.
Looks great, that angel wing shoulder pad was a great idea but god it look fiddly! What glue brand do you use, the finer brush looks really interesting I'd like to give it a go
Hi! Basically I get a pot of plastic glue and stick some old bits of sprue frame into it. The sprue melts and creates a goopy liquid which when drys, creates a super strong bond. You can also use it for super basic gap-filling. Thank you for the comment. :)
So some Dornian Heresy type stuff? I love that alternate universe. You never know, in the future is could be something I dabble in. I did think of doing a Slaaneshi White Scar once. Thank's for the comment :)
@@WePaintMinis You're welcome. I'd love to see you do him. He's supposedly the 7th largest first born ever recorded. Didn't wear terminator armor, since he wasn't high rank enough. However their techmarines cobbled up an armor using broken terminator parts. In many ways that'd be more interesting build. Still, would probably be near primarch size when primarised. As a first born, in Swords of Calth, wore a gravis armor that was made a little smaller. As a primaris the chonky marines might be a good start.
@@WePaintMinis Oh, forgot. Is missing a lot of his right arm. Lost it on Pavonis fighting the Necrons. A huge shard, main one, of the Nightbringer was released there. He got a new bionic arm from them, but it was acrually necrodermis arm, so human looking and metallic. Just like Ferrus Manus'. However, it was eventually lost on a demon world in the Warp to Honsou. So now uses a non-heretekal one. :)

Have you thought about using blue stuff for making molds it’s a thermal so you just heat it up hot water
Its a good idea, I have seen it be used and I am not 100% convinced it would work for me. Not yet anyway, but I have definately been proved wrong before. Thank you for the comment. :)
@@WePaintMinis that’s fair enough I got some to mold some dead animal bits and chapter symbols
Good old Dead Animal Bits. Pete the Wargamer would be porud haha. You have intriged me though. I may have to dabble.
AWWW MAN soo good :D and the paint job!!!!!
If you ever get the need to do a chaos space marine please do Talos from the Night Lord books :D
I think he is on my list, if not, I will add him as I like Nightlords. Thank you for kind words. 🙏
Why did you use both sprue goo and glue to attach the belt buckle?
I will be honest, I do not know 😂. When I do that normally Its because I am making sure the thinner 'normal' glue is in the smaller gaps that the goo may not of quite reached, just to create a better connection. Is wasn't really the case for the belt, probably just force of habit. 😊
@@WePaintMinis safety first, I suppose. The only foe Sethmaris could beat with his pants around his ankles are orks, who'd die laughing.
@@crapparc oh jeez haha!🤣
What glue brand do you use, the finer brush looks really interesting I'd like to give it a go
It can be a bit fiddly at times and I did swear a few times, but you get there in the end. I use Plastic Magic. Thank you very much. 😁
I would buy it
They are not up for sale... yet. haha!
By any chance, world Darneth lysander be a potential conversion in the future? Because that would be sooo cool!
I am pretty sure I have him on the to do list, but if not, I will add him. 😊
Impressive.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
How do you make sprue gloo/glue? Whatever it is called!
Hi! Basically I get a pot of plastic glue and stick some old bits of sprue frame into it. The sprue melts and creates a goopy liquid which when drys, creates a super strong bond. You can also use it for super basic gap-filling. Thank you for the comment. :)
Would love to see you de-primarisise some primaris marines, make them have more like the first born/heresy era kinda vibe
That's a very interesting concept. Especially the ones that are only primaris. Thanks for the suggestion.
For Sanguinius and the Algorithm!
Gods know I need it haha.
Pete the wargamer 2 just dropped
Oh my, I don't know about that. 🫣 an honour to be liked though. Thank you.
Pretty!
Thank you 😁
It would be cool if you could do a loyal version of Night Lords. Night Lords who didn't betrayed Emp and fall in line under Codex Astartes. =)
So some Dornian Heresy type stuff? I love that alternate universe. You never know, in the future is could be something I dabble in. I did think of doing a Slaaneshi White Scar once. Thank's for the comment :)
@@WePaintMinis More like a faction of the Night Lords who didin't want to go against the Emperor. Like Loken, Tarvitz, Garro and those guys.
I love the dark red you use! Which paint you used for that?
It's Khorne Red. 😁 thank you. 😊
Could you try to kitbash a primaris Tycho? (yes i know he's dead and he deserves it)
Hey, even if they are dead is all free real estate. Rule of cool I say. He is on my list anyway. Thank you. 😊
As he probably won’t get an updated Primaris model given the new lore since the return of The Lion I’d love to see an updated Asmodai model.
Asmodai is on the list already. Definitely would like to tackle ghim at some point. Thanks for the comment 😊
Yesssss!
Glad you like it. 😁
Could you kitbash lukas the trickster he's been one of my favourite characters in warhammer
Lukas is on my list for sure. Thanks for the suggestion though. 😁
how bout doing the Sanguinor if you haven't already.
I haven't and he is on the list. Thank you for the suggestion ☺️
I just wish there was a way to make it two hand the eviserator
It is a two-handed one, he is so angry, he is holding it with one haha. 🥰
Cool
Thank you. :)
@@WePaintMinis I look forward to your next videos.
@@goforitpainting hopefully it will be out soon. 😊
#cultofpete 🎉
one of us, one of us!
Pasanius from the Ultramarines 4th Company.
Added to the list, thank you for the suggestion.
@@jaanikaapa6925 that actually sounds like a great model to kitbash. Hmm, ideas are flowing through my head now. 🤔
@@jaanikaapa6925 this is all valuable information, thank you. It really does help. 😁
Base video please
I will make sure to include how I do my bases in the videos as I completely forgot to record it this time. Thank you for the comment.
