    I love your videos. There is always something interesting for me and everyone to learn. I believe that a horse person is NEVER done learning about horses.

    You are so kind to your horses. You model patience without making a big deal out of it. They are content being with you. I love that.

    Ross I really like your way with the horses. ..... you can see how at ease they are with you. It's like they know that you have a sence of freedom around you. I try to look after my horses as best I can, I'm mad about them. I really enjoy watching your videos and I'm learning a lot from them . Thanks so much. Keep up the good work.👌🏻👍👍

    I love your videos. I don't have a horse, but I use your methods with my two dogs, one of which is still overcoming anxiety issues and general fearfulness of strange things.
    I am partial to clicker training , but the click is a very exciting stimulus and I have found very few trainers "capturing calmness" during my studies (a term I learned from KikoPup -- dog lovers, go check out her channel too). You're "Training with Feel" videos have added to my training toolbox immensely.
    In another video, you showed a woman who simply touched the horse for a second to get their attention, but the handler didn't give the horse any more attention until the horse turned back to her and give her attention back.
    Training this way has given my dogs and myself more confidence. Especially when I'm without my treats/toys while out-and-about with my pups. We love your work, keep it up! :)

    Wonderful video! I love how you are so conscientious of what and how you ask to give the horse the chance to respond in a soft yet energetic way.

    Ross-what's your feeling on the UK and their horses? Why no clinics there?

    • @RossJacobs
      @RossJacobs  5 років тому +2

      In order to teach a clinic I need to be invited by somebody who is prepared to host and organize the event. I have been to the UK a few years ago, but people found it hard to fill the clinics because my message is so different to what the more popular clinicians are teaching.

      I see.....Im getting hunches that UK ppl are "meaner" to their horses...see "War Horse" documentary about horses used in WWI.......

    Why have you not worked with this horse for that long? That doesn't make sense to me.

      Because I travel most of the year teaching clinics and even when I am home I have a lot of chores to catchup on. We have a 150 acre property, so you can imagine jobs pile up when I am away. All my horses get very little work, if any.
