The defense analysis is the epitome of Sargon's argumentum. It's never about taking the initiative or definitely proving his stance. If he manages to not lose the argument that's all that matters. To his fans it's indistinguishable from winning the debate for proving himself to be in the right.

@@SageTKYO I used to think Koji was just a little bit stronger than Jiriaya but I was wrong. Koji was able to fight a less than 10% Isshiki and less than 10% Isshiki is still Otsutsuki level.
I only say little because of the fact that a weakened Isshiki (after fighting Naruto and Sasuke) wasn’t even trying against Kashin and the whole point was to use up the rest of the remaining chakra Isshiki had to be removed from his vessal but he had no chance of winning from the start which was stated by Amado. It was effectively a suicide mission if anything. I only say he’s a little stronger since he actually knows how to use Sage Mode while Jiraiya couldn’t master it but needed Ma and Pa to assist him. If Isshiki was practically toying with him while in a weakened state then Kashin was given a massive handicap that didn’t help him at all.
My opinion is that winning a debate sure doesn't mean that you are a good debater, but it still means you knew your points, were confident enough and you knew that at least one of them was right and couldn't be debunked. Sure one might make a ton of weak points that are easily beaten, but maybe that person always had that trap card ready to be used when all of the other ones failed, and played his game around it. I like to begin my arguments with just some of my points, not all of them, to challange myself and see if i can beat the opponent with less cards in my hand, and then play them all only if i find myself in a tight spot. It looks like i'm getting pushed back slowly, but that's my choice cause i don't always like to one shot my opponent with a bible worth of evidence and arguments right away, and most importantly my premise is still far away. I also choose my wording carefully when stating a premise so i can make it even safer. Whenever i wanna prove something that i'm not sure is actually true, i always put "maybe" "i think" so if that point fails my premise is still intact, and still actually represents my true opinion.
Seth probably won't go over boruto scaling untill the end of the series because 1.) You never know what new info comes out that can change everything and 2.) It takes time to figure out the scaling, rushing into scaling isn't a good idea because our opinions tend to change alot over time and then settle concretely.
