First real turbo back video I've seen. 🙌 I'm thinking of going with 5 inch straight pipe on a stock 99 2500 with silencer ring delete. The 3 inch I'm using now is crap.
Considering doing the same on my 06, I love the tone but am curious on in cab drone. How is it? My truck is my office so I still need to be able to take calls lol
I don't want to put a damper on this because I think it's a good idea but since it is loud have you checked the DBs so you don't receive a ticket for the overage in sound?
@@floridafenceland1137 True, though many counties are attempting to eliminate this type of noise noise, with some restrictive ordinances coming in place, money grab I think, Nice truck, I have a 2001 3500.
Joseph Rodriguez if the engine is a 5.9 then it is free of emissions garbage. 2007.5 the 6.7 came out in the dodges and those are rigged with emissions. But if it’s a 5.9 you can do whatever. No codes
It’s pretty self explanatory, did you want me to tell you what kinda metal it was made out of, or show me tightening every single bolt, I showed installing it idk what else you want lol
@@floridafenceland1137 i get it but other stuff like did the exhaust all get clamped or did you have to weld it back up. How much cutting and measuring you had to do with the kit you got. There any sensors that need replaced? Idk.. about to do this job on my truck and trying to familiarize myself what to look for. Its not that im a dumb ass but rather never done it before and new to diesel repairs.
Damn sounds good af I’ve been stuck on 4” vs 5” to put on my Cummins.

You’ll have to get 3 inch right off the turbo and then switch to 5 because the turbo outlet is much smaller than 5 inch but it’ll
Be loud!
Caution headphone users it’s loud!! Great team work with you and your brother
Yeah he’s a good hand sometimes when he’s not licking windows

Thanks for the video! Just a question, do you really have to cut the stock exhaust?
Probably could unbolt but I was trashing it so cutting was faster
My truck is bone stock. To straight pipe it, would I have to tune the truck before or after you do this?
Don’t have to do any tuning at all! Jusy straight pipe it
@@floridafenceland1137 alright thanks man👍🏼
This is a stock truck correct
Yes
Did you take the turbo silencer ring out? Sounds badass 👍
Yes sir sure did
awesome, doing the same to my 24V tomorrow with a MBRP 4" straight pipe
You’ll love it one of the best things I did to my truck
Florida country just finished the 4” straight pipe and silencer ring delete last week. WOW.
Big difference right! Like a whole new truck
How long did this take? My friends and I want to do it we just dont if we have enough time
Wats she leaking?
No idea 😂
What size tires are you running?
Do I️ need a tune to straight pipe my 2000 Cummins so it won’t throw codes or ???
No sir not at all! My trucks never been tuned, and no issues at all, these trucks have no emissions so you can do whatever you want to the exhaust
Florida country thanks brotha! sounds clean btw

Were you able to reuse the original bolts for the down pipe? Or did you get new ones?
Yes I luckily got the old ones out an I re used them
Not sure how much of it was a how to install video. You cut the wire you tied it off with pull it out and welded your tip. But thanks for the upload.
