150s is much much more than 50% better but considering new class and they were adding new stuff to it even in the final weeks it is a bit understandable for a few bugs, although normally you'd have a few bugs holding builds back and a few pushing them up. In this case SB has 3-4 major bugs all aligned together to make a monster build. If you take the outlier out of the picture the balance looks fine for the other classes, which is the whole point of the video.
When one class hits for 5 *trillion* and others only manage 1 billion, one class is *50 thousand* times better. At the moment, there is no balance. Maybe down the road we'll see substantive changes, and not little 10% modifications here and there from the devs.
@@incendio6548 Needs to be hit immediately. We have no idea how strong Spiritborn actually is right now so there is a huge chance SB will be completely gutted next season because they have no baseline for balance
@@DonTheCrownlol you’re delusional. So you’re saying even with min maxed gear other classes shouldn’t even be close to clearing 150s? In comparison to the content of the game the classes are no where near where they should be.
I was going push past Pit 120 but I decided if I can clear Dark Citadel perfectly fine Torment 4, I’m just going to chill, play. I really like meeting players in-game and grinding with them.
Dance of Knives is terrible now. Just capped my worn attack speed last night. My friend help me over level my gems with his spiritborn the day I made the character, and I can't even clear pit 83. Granted, I don't have the correct boots / amulet or even close to them because nobody is playing the class and finding your own ascended gear with specific rolls this patch is an absolute joke. It does feel incredible in helltide and infernal horde though. Much more relaxing than any other build. You drink two potions, cast 3 buffs, and hold right click for 5 minutes at a time. In NMD, doors are the bane of your existence. It's so bad to the point where if I load into a map I don't know and see a door within 20 seconds I just teleport out and open a different one. Map layouts can hurt the build in pit as well, but at least there are no doors.
You're getting a false impression of the Barbarian's power. Mighty Throw is bugged with Combat Bash and causes a "snapshot" of the entire character as long as you do not let the Mighty Throw pulse (which lasts 4 seconds on the ground) expire. Basically, you use Bash 4 times (they must crit) to make your next Mighty Throw overpower. As long as when you throw this overpower Mighty Throw there isn't already one on the ground, then your character will snapshot this effect and cause ANY TYPE OF DAMAGE FROM ANY SKILL OR EFFECT to 100% guaranteed overpower. All you need to do to maintain this snapshot is throw 1 Mighty Throw every 4 seconds. Just gotta keep a Mighty Throw pulsing on the ground at all times after doing the snapshot in order to maintain it. Dalkora (Mobalytics guy, build maker, and streamer on Twitch/UA-cam) was showing this off on his stream about 10 hours ago, and was talking about how this snapshot bug is 1) unintended; and 2) causing Mighty Throw Barbarians to do about 10x more damage than they should be doing if not for the bug. Just wanted to share this important info, because I think this bug is making people think Barb is stronger than it is. Bugged Mighty Throw can do ~pit 110, while non-bugged Mighty Throw caps out around pit 100 and every other Barb build is about 10 tiers behind that at pit 90. So Barb is pretty much crap, since we only have 1 build and it's bugged to hell.
@@BeatdropperFR Dalkora finally posted a video about it. I hope the bug gets fixed very soon. So that the Barb stops appearing more competitive / strong than it truly is. We can only do high pits because of this ONE bug. Video link: ua-cam.com/video/Rw9S4-GjGt0/v-deo.html
Replying now to say that I can't get the snapshot to work at all now and basically just exist to debuff for Spirtborns. Forget build variety, I just want a build that doesn't cramp my hand to be at half the level of success of an undergeared Spiritborn lol

Blood spirit necro is up there. I'm in the 100s Paragon, still haven't got to Uber bosses/Uber uniques, just got to Tor2 and it's kinda rough for me... Glad the season is 3 months, I'd enjoy 4,5, or 6 month seasons... I like the game but don't want to play all day to keep up w the Joneses like Rob, etc, no way I'll compete w the top 5-10% of players. Hell if I'm in top 20-30% I feel gud
This type of video is cool. It shows to me that people are playing and it’s encouraging to try a different Class. Going to make a Necro now and do Pit 100.
well that's because Mighty Throw is snapshotting in a strange, buggy way, because of the Bash skill and specifically the Combat Bash upgrade. you simply bash four times (they must crit), and then your next core or weapon mastery skill will automatically overpower. the thing is, Mighty Throw leaves a pulse on the ground that does ticking damage over 4 seconds. This seems to be bugged with Mighty Throw, because so long as you ALWAYS keep a Mighty Throw pulse on the ground, your Mighty Throw "snapshots" (similar to how channeling skills like Whirlwind have always snapshotted in this game). But it's not just snapshotting. It's super buggy snapshotting. I was watching Dalkora, a Barb streamer, about 8 or 10 hours ago (earlier this morning) and he was showing off the buggyness with Bash and Mighty Throw. What would happen on his stream, he would walk up to a training dummy and bash four times, then toss a Mighty Throw, which would overpower because of Combat Bash. But it didn't stop there. His Mighty Throw that overpowered would snapshot HIS ENTIRE CHARACTER, and so now ANY DAMAGE he performed even if not by Mighty Throw would automatically overpower, as long as he never allowed his Mighty Throw pulse to expire on the ground. As long as he would cast 1 Mighty Throw every 4 seconds (that's how long the pulses last), he would have permanent "every skill I use automatically overpowers." He said this was leading to Mighty Throw Barbarian doing about 10x more damage than it should do if not for this snapshot bug. But sure, Barb is "fine." We're only relying on a horribly buggy interaction that will obviously get fixed either in the mid-season patch or before the start of next season, season 7. This isn't widely known information, so I'm spreading the word. Barbs are NOT good, we are just relying on a horribly buggy snapshop interaction with Mighty Throw that isn't intended by the developers and will be fixed. The irony is that this will probably get fixed before the Spiritborn bugs get fixed, simply because almost nobody is playing Barb, meanwhile 85%+ of players are playing Spiritborn. So they can't nerf the SB, but they can comfortably nerf the Barb without much risk of public backlash. and btw, all of our other builds besides Mighty Throw cap out around pit 90. So... Barb probably is the worst class, but because of bugged Mighty Throw, people who look at this "Pit Leaderboard" thing that Don is showing off will get the INCORRECT impression that Barb is better than it actually is. If you don't play bugged Mighty Throw, good luck doing pit 90+ as a Barb. You won't be able to.
Tl:dr everything else outside SB is dead (Considering that all these players are using the optimal gear for their respective classes, it's a setup that's likely not feasible for 95% of the player base.)
