- A quick and dirty one take of 3E43, an ex-NYC Taxi cab still fully outfitted with all the equipment and stickers. More polished and informative videos to come!
It's very cool that you're keeping a part of NYC history preserved! Thanks for posting this followup video.
My pleasure! I intend to do quite a bit more with as many people as possible, and seeing how far we can take this!

Taxi service at its finest. I miss the Crown Victoria. I used to have a classic 1989 one.

Love it! Glad to see an old NYC Crown Victoria preserved!! Thank you
My pleasure! Always loved them and knew I had to have my hands on one before it was too late.
As someone who hasn't been in a NYC cab in around 40 years (or in a cab of any sort in at least 20), one of the things that stood out to me during this walkthrough and the RCR review was how _nice_ the inside of that car is. And don't even get me going about some of the cabs I rode in during the 1980s in Turkey!
Good to see the upload, looking forward to more as you have the time!
Thanks! I plan to get a few more long form videos out as the month goes on, and also some short form stuff on different platforms. The cleanliness was for the most part all there, just a sanitize and vacuum.

These were the best to drive as cabs. Glad the car is a nice home in retirement. Enjoy the car! It'll a fun drive.!
Thanks! I've been told that these are the best cabs for the drivers, and that most miss them dearly. It has been a blast to drive and show off!
@@NathanielTabora just remember to keep you doors locked. People will try to jump in thinking it's a cab 😄

I love this, because of your car I learned that the P70/P7A existed, I own a 2011 P7B myself and I love it. Great score on this Crown Vic!

Amazing car. I have a P71 but would love to find a LWB.
What a beauty' it's amazingly well-preserved. Enjoy!

Great video. I live in the UK and am now on my second Crown vic. I have a P71 but as it was painted yellow some years ago, I decided to have the appearance of a NYPD undercover taxi. I still have all lights and sirens in so it's great at shows explaining how NYPD use undercover car dressed as taxis. I visited NYC earlier this year and was saddened at the lack of Crown Vics in service. My previous visit was some 10 years ago and there was an abundance of them.

NYC phased them out because they "pollute" because they are big cars. There's no more luxury with globalism. Except for the globalists themselves, of course.
just can't get over how mint this one is looking!!
Thanks Noah! I was actually just looking at your photo albums yesterday as part of research for unique cabs through NYC in the 2000s. Would you be alright if I used those photos in a video coming soon? Loved your photography over the years!
@@NathanielTabora oh thanks!!! yeah, if you could, maybe just let them know in a caption and or link, to that album or something? but yes, you can and thanks for asking, cheers!
@@NathanielTabora oh yeah, ps, i was trying at one point to make sure and have a picture of as many nyc cabs as I could, but I kinda haven't been keeping up with that task of late.. ohhh. and importantly, a lot, nearly all the pictures of taxis from the 80's and earlier, aren't mine, I just found them elsewhere on the internet, and I don't think I've prudently captioned where each picture was from
This is the same New York Cab from Regular Car Reviews! Awesome ride man!
👍 Really authentic. Nice original NYC cab.
As authentic as they get! Pulled directly out of service in the same cosmetic condition, and all the electrics are rewired.

I really love the passion you have! Wish you all the best :)

@@Harry-hk5jg Man, you _really_ want those twin turbos on it.
@@BunnyAssassin Word of wisdom, don't let your best friends find your YT channel... hell is to pay!
Nice, one glaring thing you can tell it's an actual cab from the factory is when you look at the back door and window, slightly larger than base models or the police packages...hence the lwb(Long wheelbase) to accommodate the larger leg room in the back.
In 2023 in New York is 2 Corwn Victorias left is still working in NYC taxi cab
Nice shape.Regards from Polish Phanter car owner.

Great video my guy
What is the purpose of the ppl crossing sticker?
You are very fortunate to have a LWB survivor! Hurricane Sandy destroyed the majority of these.
Thanks! I always feel happy knowing I have one survivor. Fun fact, the ones destroyed during Sandy were the remaining 100 or so destined for service to Manhattan Ford. They were housed in Hoboken where the flood waters were high, but otherwise I believe a good majority already in service were relatively safe during the storm.
Yeah, I used to drive a cab on Long Island, back in the Plymouth Fury/Dodge Diplomat days! I'm in Ohio now. A LWB comes up for sale every once in a while around here. They get snapped up quick though. I missed out on one a month ago.
Why do the bronx ford logos always have the top right corner missing????
Found this from rcr, but I love nyc taxis!
Great to hear! They are an odd and unloved niche that is for sure!
How do you find one?
Beautiful car, I own a grand marquis
Awesome!!
Thanks!
@@NathanielTabora I’m restoring myself a 2004 fdny ex 229 engine truck. I have an Instagram where I post more on the project!
I’ve been to The Bronx Manhattan Queens and Brooklyn
Good for you, dude.
@@Nastafar Thanks, maybe one day I’ll see you down there
How many engine hours does it have?
1752 as of today
@@NathanielTabora wow not that bad mine has 1531ish
Can make police car video
Can you legally use it as an Uber?
needs twin turbos
Yes and no, I need to make the next video about that...
@@NathanielTabora Don't they have a requirement that the car needs to be 10 years or newer? If this car is a 2011 which I believe it is based on the door moldings, it's already too old. Will be 12 years old in less than a week. (well, maybe 13 years if it was built in 2010!)
