@@yunfanji 3 mistakes:
1. He couldve sent the normal spell along with called by as cost for forbidden droplet to keep the drytron in hand.
2. Shouldnt have summoned alpha thuban if you only have 2 drytron names available, gamma can tribute and revive to help with plays especially if unfamiliar with the combo.
3. If they still had beta in hand, alpha couldve became linkuriboh and tribute beta from hand as cost, and then you have more fuel for the beta in grave to use.

@B-slug i thought alot before i decided what i should play. So it was either send 4 and go for ogier which i did. And send 3 and summon sub knight and go to apo. In my head i was like he will nib and won't let me do the combos so i went for ogier and he just let me combo and i was like on 1 sec on timer i couldn't cook with hare to summon huli and set the trap so i just passed

If you play apollousa in your extra your hand could play through nib.
Make isold and add lady, summon ogier, send turpin, add renaud with chalice, summon renaud target durendal, that's summon number 5, if he nibs there cool you equip durendal to the token and summon turpin, activate durendal and add oliver, make angelica and go from there. If he doesn't nib at 5 summons you have an apo on top

In my experience it gets negated 90%of the time 😅 it has too many staple counters to be anything more then a hand trap bait. Just my opinion tho don't kill me.

I love when you use your opponents maxx c to your advantage. I had 1 duel using infernoids and on my 2nd turn they played maxx c on my reasoning, got an amazing mill, summoned most of my extra deck, tributed my last link with seitsemas, summoned another seitsemas and made titanic moth to attack directly past their chaos synchro (the lvl 10 one) and burn for around 14k damage
here we see that drytron really needed the new support that just got announced
He just missplayed way too often

Although no format where Drytron is viable ends up being a good format, so I say just let it die.

Last night in duelist cup, an unfortunate soul took the maxx c challenge with me.(full on bricked besides that maxx c)
Draw 5 was duster, raigeki, 2 bystials, kash uni
12:17 no, he couldn't make the play earlier because Meteonis reduced Thuban to 1k. He couldn't have summoned Herald without throwing away the Nib in that case. He also wouldn't have had any negates with it, no Fairies in the hand.

Actually is better, they are recommending drytron to play pure instead of other ritual bosses, if you do play pure, the deck can one card combo like finally, and it will lock you into machine ritual only which is why I said to play pure.
It's not bad too because drytron has actually their own negates and disruptions just we don't play currently

at this point we should buff Maxx C, so it is not hard once per turn and If you activate it by drawing it with the effect of Maxx C, you can discard it to draw +1 everytime you draw with the first Maxx C"s effect

I mean we do have cards, which are basically necessary in all decks, so why is pot of greed a big deal, it was mainly banned, because every deck included it and its a +1 nowadays we have way worse offenders lol. It is really hard to play Master Duel with a 20 card hand.
Another way to win is setting up some defenses and keeping a single interaction and always slow them down and disrupt them with the 1 action you have:
Managing 20 cards and being interrupted playing a thousand cards, can just lead to a time out. Won a game against 20 hand card Manadium.
Even under Maxx C, some decks can still just play the same board as with a single hand.
I miss old ygo because you had to work with what you had in hand.
Nowadays you do the same combo every time no matter what your start hand is because everything is a searcher or a combo starter. Thats pretty sad.

Earth would be more fitting since it's a huge rock, though it's kinda ironic cause it's a meteorite from outer space

The game should be renamed to maxx c. Most games are just playing to resolve maxx c
And people will defend and say its a card that you MUST have just to play this game. I have not crafted Max C since I started playing and never will. I have learned to win without it. Something others who run it will have no clue how to do since they reley on Max C to win the game and not him showing his skills without it.

Well it's a very difficult deck to learn. This fella was not a good pilot, his hand could play around nib with ease. The deck is also the best going first deck in the game and it produces the most unbreakable ftk board in my opinion. It does struggle going second though plus... You know... There's a card that shall not be named in the format that ruins the game for every deck that summons monsters 🙄

It’s banned in TCG and you don’t see everyone running floodgates unless you count Droll. Besides floodgates screw over both sides *and* they need to be set the turn before unlike Maxx C. All that changes is there would be a greater verity of hand traps and more stuffed in decks since they will have more space

@@City_KingB94 No. There are plenty of plenty of fair hand traps that get the job done we don’t need Maxx C at all. Besides Maxx C isn’t a going 2nd card if anything it benefits the player going first more since they can build a board then Maxx C you in turn 2. Now you have to OTK through their board *and* whatever they draw.

Plus, if you've used an ash on 1st turn to try and disrupt, on your turn you don't have the ash to stop the maxx c anymore(unless you also drew called by or 2nd ash). Now you need to play through a board, a maxx c and potentially more handtraps.
@@City_KingB94on master duel going first isn't an insta win, you have to be a horrible player to lose just because your opponent has gone first(unless he's playing an OTK deck), if you play the ladder most of the games will be games without maxx c, you won't lose all the games you've gone second, because it's not how the game works.
Also if you play the ladder and lose the maxx c mini game you're cooked, going first or second.

He should send a spell on the field as cost for the droplet instead of beta, and so when the alpha special summoned by nova after those chain link, what's left is alpha on the field and beta in hand.
What this could do is,alpha link summon into linkuriboh, then activate alpha in grave ,tribute beta, special itself search benten. Beta in grave tribute benten,special itself and search ritual spell, and this whole thing is full combo.

Well rank is not as competitive,but this is a freaking tournament, please do practice , know everything what your deck do, and that's why people keep saying English are noobs compared to Japan or Asia. No offense but it is. I like this meta weekly but these you say misplays happened very often which leads to make people think the competitive fame of this weekly tournament is overwhelming, and will not always a useful reference for players.
This is round 1 and a lot of people just enter for fun. Chill out

Combo decks that Lose against maxx c are really decent right now but if you dont draw maxx c against mannadium for example, what are you gonna do? like going 2nd not having maxx c makes the going 2nd player leave. At least 6 cards of your at least 40 cards are designed to counter the roach( ash, called by, crossout) and EVERY deck plays those cards its ridiculous. and you play 3 maxx c as well so 9/40 cards are maxx c related in every deck thats way too much
