    I would also recommend taking off the intake manifold as flaps and inlet ports also have heavy carbon buildup on high milage VWs.

    Great Video , will help a lot of people because there is very less information about engine -repairing of T6 .

      Thanks. I've replaced a turbo 2 weeks ago - will issue a video on this some time next few months.

    A well presented and educational video, perfect for my needs. Please continue making them with an egr valve & egr cooler removal, cleaning & refitting/replacement video. The other one I’ve seen on UA-cam is with German language and although I can follow the video, I cannot understand the sound. Unless you have a link to an English version? Thank you 🙏🏻

      Hi. Thanks, this is really motivating.
      I know which video you mean. I prefer to focus on new content rather than repeat. I suggest to turn on English subtitles and it will be easier to understand.
      New episode coming soon!

    Really good editing. Would be great to see you replace the EGR unit, including what coolant pipes to remove etc

      Thanks. There is already a video on UA-cam about the whole egr unit replacement. If I ever have to do it, I will of course film it.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video.
    Unfortunately I got the same problem.
    May I ask what tool is the one you're using at 8:30 minute?
    Thanks!

      @@busbitsAmazing, thank you. I did not know they needed to be replaced. Do you have a VW part number for these bolts?

    Hallo !
    I have a T6 150 hp 2016 and Dpf regenerates every 300-350 km .
    it's normal like that ?
    The car does not give any error...
    Thank you very much!

    • @busbits
      @busbits  2 місяці тому +1

      @@alexhiticas4198 Yes, this should be okay in my opinion. It depends on the driving conditions. A traffic jam daily car will regen a lot more frequently.

    Thanks for the excellently explained video! I have a 2017 t6 euro 6 and on cold start in morning the idle is gone very rough. This morning I noticed fumes coming around the egr area,Do you think its most likely the intake pipe is leaking? Would this cause the engine to cough and sputter until it warms up? Thanks again! • @busbits
      @busbits  8 місяців тому

      Thanks. M9st frequently it's the rear pipe that leaks. You would notice blackening on the front pipe but as mentioned, it's the rear one that is known to cause problems

      That sounds like your diesel injectors.

    I have a P0401 "EGR A Flow Insufficient Detected" error on my T6 2017. Do you think this error could also be due to the intake pipe, or will it be something else?

    • @busbits
      @busbits  5 місяців тому +1

      @@j2pwak I am far from being an expert but I think pipes are the last thing I'd check. Its either the stuck egr valve or clogger egr radiator
