Here's what i did when I ran out of snap seeds. Run a BIG circle around the area and when she does the homing jump attack (only attack if she does this, any other move keep circling) run at her and get 2 hits in before she stands back up, then just keep doing that. She shouldnt be able to catch up to you if you are running instead of walking. It may take you a little while to kill her(10 minutes for me) but you can do it reliably with this method. If you dont want to run in circles forever though, you can use divine cofetti and grave ash to wreck her shit. The ash stuns her for a second and if you have the cofetti active while hitting her back its like butter. this method can be like, a minute if everything goes perfectly.
Whenever she summoned her shadow clones I would just spam grapple between the branches on her side of the bridge in a circle until the clones disappeared, only ever got hit once. Edit: didn't realise you could use snap seeds, I used them against lady butterfly once and left em in the box gathering dust.

I needed to see one where they just cried killing emma. Also Owl(Father)/Inner Father is cheap. Ahhh, I love it
Inner Father is the best fight in the game and Owl Father is 2nd. Never got the pillar hate, the arena is fine. And he’s really not that hard, Inner Geni is harder

Corrupted monk is underrated, especially if you parry the thrust, she’ll continue her attacks. There’s a chance you can get her in an infinite loop if you jump the first perilous sweep then mid air deflect the 2nd. She’ll then go back into another cycle

First phase you have to be super aggressive to get him finished fast before he does too much damage to you and second phase gotta be patient especially with his teleporting to maximize your openings to punish him.
Genichiro was the best boss in the game for me (way of Tomoe at least)
My nicknames for Sekiro bosses
Gyobu: horse man
Butterfly: Old hag
Geneichiro: Ashina
Guardian Ape: Monkey
Headless Ape: No Brainer
Folding Screen: Puzzle boys
Corrupted Monk: Fake Monk
Emma: Level up lady
Isshin (Ashina): Older Hag
GSO: P O I S O N
Real Monk: "3 PHASES?!?"
Divine Dragon: Rykard
Isshin Sword Saint: Glockster
Owl (Father): Oldest Hag
Thank your for loving divine dragon
Idk why some fromsoft players hate spectacle bosses
Probably cuz fromsoft fans wanted replayable and fun bosses. (Not that I hate divine dragon)
It's a gimmick boss for sure but it looks cool and plays nice. Cant say the same for a lot of other gimmick bosses (Im talking about you, bed of chaos)
Divine dragon has peak music and cinematics
I’m stuck in that fucking corrupted monk, I’m losing it. I’m out of snap seeds. I’m done man
Here's what i did when I ran out of snap seeds.
When she does the ghost thing you can just grapple to the highest tree and she will stop immediately.
There is a easy trick, using mist raven search it .. way to easy
Oh yea? Well it looks like a golden shiny wire of hope.
Sword saint isshin is probably my favorite boss ever. It just feels so GOOD
Blazing bull is by far the worst boss
lol bull pretty easy, but guardian ape made me want to kms. I ended up running around the whole second phase just baiting a single attack slowly lowering his health souls style😎
_Laughs in Demon of Hatred_
@@luldpjust deflect
@@luldpHeadless Ape is easy, deflect all his attacks, jump the sweeps and run away from the screaming attack. When he does a big swing over his head and you deflect it, it stuns him and you can deal massive posture damage by using the spear and drag prosthetic on him.
@@LourdessApekattworst not difficult
I feel like I had way too easy of a time with Genichiro’s boss battles. It was when he called on Isshin and rebirthed him when i had trouble
Lady Butterfly is awesome, wtf.
yes these tier sheets are crap everyone has a favorite different boss these tier sheets are crap
@@HumaxxI hate her
If it weren’t for her summoning spirits I would’ve liked it more
@@ijustbevibin0425snap seeds and resume the fight. But I agree that part is just a waste of time when you run around in circles until her illusions are gone. But if you use snap seeds it's nit a problem. It sucks that she can use the illusions again at random times.
Mechanically she's too easy and her attack patterns are not satisfying to deflect imo, the butterfly damage trade in the second phase also doesn't do anything to spice it up.
Sounds like he wants to tell me something about Sekiro Bosses
lady butterfly , headless ape and monk deserve better
the boss quality in the later half is the best in any game I have ever Played
I needed to see one where they just cried killing emma.
Also Owl(Father)/Inner Father is cheap. You die more to camera angle shenanigan’s(especially from mist raven in inner fight and owl teleport in both) than you do from him beating you.
Also his teleportation granting s is wack, but I guess he’s supposed to be a dishonorable fighter, so he broke reality to make sure you die to that pillar for the 7th time as he mist raven teleports on top of you then when you punish he just owl teleports so you gain nothing except a fraction of posture damage.
Ahhh, I love it
Inner Father is the best fight in the game and Owl Father is 2nd. Never got the pillar hate, the arena is fine. And he’s really not that hard, Inner Geni is harder
Owl will always be my favourite fight of all time such an epic fight
the last one is visually perfect, but the fight is biggest piece of d.. s...
FINALLY, someone who acknowledges divine dragon for the incredible spectacle that it is
Horseman over Butterfree? You high
I liked the lady butterfly fight. Fit nicely with the aggressive sword clanking play style I like
the first time you do a lightning counter on genichiro you feel unstoppable.
best boss is genichiro
he lowkey too easy
@@kokujin1910if lightning reversal didn’t do so much posture damage he would be so much better it’s basically his whole posture bar after 2
@@dpk5765 rven without that i didnt even use lightning reversal the first time i beat him
@@kokujin1910 damn
I honestly loved the folding screen monkey fight. The area there is just so eerie and I was genuinely tweaking out with the monkey behind me. I was chasing monkeys and thought maybe I was delusional but no. There was Indeed a monkey following me.
Lady butterfly ok but Oniwa great? he literaly was a really weak an easy boss, Lady butterfly gives you a good round of what is a hard boss, Oniwa was like a tutorial boss.
difficulty does not always equal the boss is good, take divine dragon for example.
but i agree, lady butterfly is great
Oniwa fight was just epic, yes it was easy but it was very great, lady butterfly ? I never liked it since i didnt knew how to use properly the dogde and whenever i failed her posture bar just recover as if it was nothing.
This game’s bosses are trully goated
Why does their art style remind me of darkest dungeon
Every fight in genichiro’s arena is chefs kiss
demon of hatred is bs
nah, he just demands a different kind of skill than what most other bosses do. i had a hard time with him my first time, but now he my top four (including inner fights) and i can nohit him most of time (pro tip, fire umbrella)
@@Blackblade-NeX do you deflect demon of hatred?
@@curser63 his non fire attacks, yes
@@Blackblade-NeX so you don't, because you can't, that's why he's bs. whole game teaches you to deflect then just puts in a bloodborne boss
@@curser63 ohh you're one of those guys, he is fully parryable on all attacks, but the fire and sweep ones deal chip damage if you try. If you don't believe me go watch a video of someone no hitting him. I don't wish to be mean but your lack of skill within that fight doesnt mean I'm lying or the boss is bad
I'll never relive the feeling I got from beating Genichiro for the first time, barely any health, with no gourds or pellets left. My heart was pounding out of my chest 🤧
I think demon if hatred was just alright
But the music is godtier along with owl father
I can’t believe you rated the folding screen monkeys better than the headless ape.
You know he’s talking about the fight with headless ape and the other big monkey right?
Hot take on the Guardian Ape, who throws poo at you and farts in your face XD
I just platinumed Sekiro. After months of being too scared to play it, I beat it. I beat the bosses, I beat them all. Every last one. I feel an immense sense of accomplishment. I beat most bosses within a few tries, Genichiro being the first I beat my first try. Great Owl was my toughest opponent since he was the only one I couldn't beat through posture damage. Now that it's over, I feel sad. I know that none of the other Souls games can compare to the prestige this game bestows on those who conquer it. It's down hill from here.
Gyobu - 2 tries
Lady Butterfly - 3 tries
Genichiro - 1 try
Guardian Ape - 3 tries
Headless Ape - 1 try
Corrupted Monk - 1 try
Isshin Ashina - 8 tries
Great Owl - 13 tries
True Monk - 1 try
Divine Dragon - 1 try
Owl Father - 7 tries
Demon of Hatred - 4 tries
Sword Saint Isshin - 6 tries
Inner Genichiro - 4 tries
Inner Owl Father - 9 tries
Inner Sword Saint - 4 tries
Lady Butterfly was perfect
last one is perfect, so perfect you can't even get close to it because of that relentless ranged assault.
Best lineup of bosses in any Souls game
Mist Noble should've been "THATS WHY HES THE GOAT, THE GOAT"
Past Owl Father gives me PTSD
I only saw two seconds. Giving Lady Butterfly an "it's alright", and belowa Gyobu is heresy. Goodbye
Corrupted monk is underrated, especially if you parry the thrust, she’ll continue her attacks. There’s a chance you can get her in an infinite loop if you jump the first perilous sweep then mid air deflect the 2nd. She’ll then go back into another cycle
Divine Dragon was actually kind of a let down for me. I was hoping for an actual fight against a sword wielding dragon, not a gimmick.
Bro I died atleast 50 times with lady butterfly, the first enemy to force me to master parrying and timing was her 😢
Demon of hatred is such a good fight bro
Such an amazing assortment of bosses
Butterfly lady alright? It was one of the best fights in game.
I'm probably alone on this, but both Monk fights are my absolute favorite in the entire game. Although the confidence that Sword Saint gave me can't be forgotten either
Exactly bro the monks are pretty easy but super fun
Genichiro is such a good fucking fight. He’s a perfect skill check, if you have a hard time with him you probably will with the rest of the game. That was the case for me. Then I beat his very first fight on my second play through.
This video makes me very happy
Owl (Father) and Sword Saint Isshin goated 🐐
All guardian ape boss fights are my favorite!
We all know that the Bull is the best fight in Sekiro
Oh hell no
Owl (Father) is literally PEAK boss fight in any game. Its amazing.
Genichiro fight in the tower is a top 5 fromsoft boss of all time
Can't believe he didn't even mention Mist Noble
I recently got the platinum for Sekiro (which was the last soulsborne for me to obtain) and it’s is the game most deserving of a platinum run. You don’t appreciate this game nearly enough with one run, but that 2nd one? Jesus Christ you love it. 10/10 game I got so comfortable with it, that I went deathless for my next 3 playthroughs. Love this game. 👍❤️
They needed to match WOOOOOOooooo guy with Whoohooo guy. Missed opportunity.
The guy who made the art "gotta tell you, it was perfect"
You're right. Even though there's no perfection in art, I still think it's perfect
True corrupted monk is my personal favorite, when you don't cheese it.
