@@leeanthonysoto7393 I know this is a year late, but I'm a console player too and I couldn't find this info anywhere so maybe it'll help you. Initiate your horizontal swing and within the faint window quickly tap block then the same swing button again. It's kinda finicky to get the timing and if you get it wrong it'll flash "counter", but if you do it right you'll see "feint" flash onscreen. It works for all swings, so stab to stab and overhead to overhead too. I like going alt horizontal feint to standard horizontal, lots of players seemed to get tripped up by the animation it gives.

The next playstyle video will also be covering a much more defensive playstyle although the focus won't be on 1v1.👍 But I guess if you put the information of the upcoming duelling video together with the information concerning a more defensive playstyle it might help a lot!
I personally prefer the knight because the extra hp which the knight has over the vanguard has more use for me than the additional stamina which the vanguard has. If you are not sure which class would be the best for you I suggest to try both and see what you need more: HP or stamina. If you die too much then the knight is the right class for you but if you have problems managing your stamina (f.e. if you get disarmed a lot due to being out of stamina) then the vanguard is perfect for you. Really good question! 👍
Another comment on knights: The extra amount of HP is only useful if the enemies you're facing rarely use blunt weapons since blunt weapons deal a bunch of extra dmg against knights. So the extra HP doesn't always mean that you will actually be harder to kill. But overall not a lot of players use blunt weapons so I generally think that picking the knight for increased survivability works quite well.
Thank you! I tried the strategy yesterday with the knight and it worked really well, just had to be patient with it. I swapped to the heavy mace a couple months ago which suited my playstyle well as I think it can catch people out, but the executioner axe wipes out the big crowds nicely.
well thats already exactly what i was doing precisely to the weapon, but yeah no it's ridiculously effective. i like catching people by attacking the opposite direction and dragging the end of the attack to them, because by then they've probably started an attack of their own. also, alt horizontals are very useful if used correctly, including horiz>alt horiz feints (or vice versa)

I m a console player (ps5) and i have a problem where when i try to drag + attack it doesnt match with the high horizontal sensitivy i have, the drags feel so slow and this is the main problem. Everytime i try to face enemies they start to go behind me and with slow drag attacks sensitivy its nearly impossible to handle them unless i find a way to reposition myself. I wanted to ask if there s an auto parry cheat cause when i met some pc players and i went behind them and attack they just turn behind very quick and counter my attacks even if they didnt have any vision on me i found it really sus, i saw a reddit post where one guy said in Mordhau its full of autoparry cheaters and if you just throw a knife behind they will immediatly parry it even if they dont see it coming and i saw the same shit on chivalry 2.
It's easy, you just have to spend hundreds of hours in the game, suffering at the beggining getting slaughtered by experienced players, so you can then do it to newbies yourself once you finally get gud. Jokes aside, for new players I would say a weapon that cleaves and has good reach. Even a newbie can do damage in group fights like that, especially now with so many new players. Its not like Mordhau where you are just prey for experienced players, Chiv 2 is more friendly for noobs ( add to that that the game gives you some good weapons at the start too ).

it is called alt attack means alternative, slash then quickly use ctrl and mouse 1 before your first winds up
that goes for every attack type, stab overhead.
