I also touch on the subject of ‘Twin-Flames’ and the potential dangers I believe one can experience by buying into this narrative too much.

a twin flame is when you meet that one in another body, and not some kind of god-ordained tailor-made lover. to those who actually have met their twin flame, it is anything but romantic and it pushes you towards your highest version. to meet yourself in another body and thinking it was the perfect person, only to have them run away and it completely destroys you beyond repair. This experience is called the dark night of the soul, and is the catalyst of your spiritual awakening. That is the only true indication of a twin flame; if meeting them causes a spiritual awakening and transformation. Otherwise, its just one man's word and another's belief.

The person I thought was my twin flame didn’t align with what I want in this life. It’s been a confusing few years trying to figure this out! But, I have recently came to this same conclusion that it was apart of my waking up and that it all. He was just a catalyst and is actually extremely toxic.

I needed this message. Being scaping myself into a soul connection and starting to realize that im delaying to work in my own soul. The romantic and heteronormative narrative can be very hard to deconstruct, but its a process and im more aware of.

I agree wholeheartedly with you. I do think there's something to the twin flame concept, but not at all in the way it has been conceptualized in the mainstream. The whole Disney romance thing you alluded to. I do believe meeting this supposed twin flame person can be a sort of catalyst to big changes in your life and deep self-realization.
From what I've read, the true twin flame or twin soul concept is one that relates to the rather rare phenomenon of one soul splitting in two, and incarnating separately. Union happens only when both parts have done the karmic growth contracted over many lifetimes. It's not some kind of Disney nonsense in the way that it's been whitewashed within the new age, and it's an incredibly RARE phenomenon. Meaning, an overwhelming majority of souls on earth today aren't twin souls at all if you believe in the concept. And naturally, twin souls do not always incarnate as significant others in romantic relationships. The dynamic can be siblings or a parent/child relationship. The fact that all you see promoted are romantic relationships as so called "twin flame" unions says everything you need to know lol. I mean I get it, an overwhelming majority of people on this planet right now did not get the love and nurturing they needed during childhood from their parents to varying degrees, and are looking to fill the void of what they didn't receive though romantic relationships in adulthood. Many people also have deep self worth issues because of that, and are constantly looking for things outside of themselves to validate them. Then when you take into account the culture we live in that pushes unrealistic relationship expectations and is usually done so out of commerce, which relies upon the public to feel "incomplete" in some way so corporations can offer a solution via consumerism... And you get a large amount of people who get caught up into an ego trap like twin flames. But I just don't understand how people can skip past all the very real dynamics I just outlined, that most people who believe in twin flames are very likely affected by, and jump STRAIGHT to the narrative that they must be a twin soul to the other individual that they're grown emotionally attached to? Because last time I checked, doing the work of examining all the wounds and baggage we've acquired over our lives, how those things are affecting us on a spiritual level, as well as how those wounds affect the overall collective and the society we create for ourselves out of that and what that means for humanity from a spiritual standpoint is the very basis of what constitutes real spiritual work, not creating a false mythology based upon something that validates your ego.
I believe it for awhile, too, but I am realizing that it is definitely a trauma bond.
Could it be both? A higher soul connection in spirit but in 3d, trauma bond?
I think that the twin flame concept is real, but only for a chosen few. It’s not meant for the masses as it is portrayed all across social media. Not everyone chose to come here in that way. The question that you should ask yourself is did you get on your knees and ask God to show you someone that could love you as much as you could love them? I’ve heard so many people talk about all of the bad stuff about twin flame experiences however my journey has been learning about my own triggers, correcting them and as I’ve made these changes, I’ve seen my twin change. I’m not saying it was completely easy, but I was able to become a better person as a result of all of the growth periods, or many separations. We never had any arguments, we would just stop talking. And the other one expected the other one to reach out. Once we realized this was happening regularly, and we talked about it, we realized that our nature was to give the other person space and neither of us wanted to be the one to reach out, to bother each other. Now our separation phase is less because we realize that when it starts to happen which is usually at the beginning of the new moon, we just need to reach out to each other to say, “hey it’s that time so let’s not forget to communicate.” This works well for us. It is a journey, but I think it’s meant for those that truly have asked God to bring a person to teach us how to give and receive love without expectations. I see a lot of people who are expecting a counter part, but may not have ever asked for one in the way that they truly meant to learn how to love. Of course we all want to be loved, but that doesn’t mean you were chosen to be a twin flame. I’m here to tell you, that some of my experiences were supernatural, I’m not kidding. So sorry but I am a believer, some of the things can’t even be explain to another person. That’s the best way I can explain it. Only you know if you are truly in a twin flame connection. Again it wasn’t meant for the masses. It doesn’t mean that everyone has a twin flame. It’s a phenomena, and not everyone should adopt it as if it should happen to them. Ask God, and he will reveal to you what he wants you to learn. 😊
I believe you. Everyone experience is different. I don't know if Twin Flame truly exists, but if they do, they are rare.
If you only saw their pic you would not even say they are your twin flame.
I've started feeling unwanted by someone whose been connected with me in spirit and have no idea if their even real or some one just manifested from disappointments and all the people I had dealt with.Which Gave me a band-aid
Thank you for sharing. I've had the supernatural experiences within an intense soul connection. I believe I asked to learn to love + I am becoming the best version of me and have dealt with really big generational trauma and massive stuff as a result of feeling this love. I believe in it because I experienced such intense rapid personal evolution as a result. The deep desire and compulsion to change yourself and face the hardest stuff you've run from - its something else. The person I met - is me in another body / another generation and another culture. I'm doing my best to let the person go + take all the evolution ❤ my mind cannot understand it. But Bashar says the mind is a machine to understand the past. Not the present or future ❤
They're not real 😂 the more people try to explain it the weaker the concept looks. Just accept that it's a delusion you'll be happier, trust me.
I met someone in the Minneapolis airport. I was a Flight Attendant at the time, and he was a Pilot but we worked for different companies. I saw him instantly and my subconscious told me I knew him. Before he met me he got a fortune cookie at the Pei Wei that said “you will have a romantic encounter soon” We dated for a long time. It was definitely karmic / past life connection because it was so powerful. But it was so damaging, for me. I think it actually helped him but for me it was abuse and manipulation later on. I feel I was taken for a ride that I didn’t consciously sign up for. If I had been spiritual and awakened at the time I would have never allowed most of it! But he was the catalyst I suppose and you are totally right.

You apparently have never been on Twin Flame journey. It is your journey and you would know if you are on a twin flame journey , trust me. It’s completely different than any soul connection or karmic connection. But you can give your opinions just don’t say there is no such thing as Twin flames, it is offensive to those that have had this experience.
I have to disagree. Twin flames exist. As it catalyzed my own spiritual awakening, I saw the nature of my own soul incarnated in my own body and that of my divine masculine. I wanted out, but my own angels/God kept making it impossible (physical symptoms, visions,etc) But I do agree that the entire concept of twin flame explained in over 90% of media has been bastardized. TF journey is about the soul connection and triggers that make you face and process your own fears. Not all TFs will be romantic or are compatible. But some can be. It really depends on how far you and your twin process your own fears, learn to unconditionally love self, and if you BOTH CHOOSE a romantic connection. I agree that people shouldn’t ignore their current life and hurt other people for the connection. It’s really hard. But if the circumstances are right (both are single), both learn self and self love, and both choose, it’s possible.
At this point in my journey, I don’t know if my TF and I will be together. But I know for sure I won’t stop prioritizing my own growth and self-love for him, which is the most common mistake other TF make. Do not label the experience is completely true- if the other person or even you are toxic and haven’t learned self love, then like anyone else, let them go.
Twin flames can be platonic? And not romantic?
If y'all was so much of twin why are they so toxic and abusive, get real. They are KARMA.

I think most of us who have had multiple twin flame like relationships understand it is not real…those who have just one that they’re clinging on to also cling on to the idea of twin flame and claim one is a “false twin”….they are keeping themselves stuck…And be weary they convince themselves we don’t know because we’ve never been in one…it’s very common for them to do that

😮 It is interesting hearing you speak on this. it was meant for me to hear this cause it was a passing thought as well as something i said to my friend was that there is no such thing as the “one” or even “twin flames” cause like we are all aspects of each other always mirroring each other back what is in the inner world. Like the little Gods / Bodhisattvas we are. we are all just indivual experience for the source I think this concept would make a good video… i may turn this concept into one as well. my insights as a person. on a shamanic journey.

Wow perfect ! I needed this confirmation that you can be on a TF journey and be initiated into the shaman journey. 😆 boy ill tell ya its a crazy combo those two. ME PERSONALLY, I've been extremely serious about the spiritual journey it took me on, and really just surrendered to spirit, and did what I was guided, very blindly, but just fully knowing it was for a reason. We are in the phase of the journey where your supposed to come back together for the final time, but I'm very neutral now about it. The intensity or obsession subsided when facets were healed. Very interesting if this is what love without trauma responses and toxicness feels like. We were on a very authentic journey, I hate what swirling around right now that muddied the label. Its not a romantic connection, and i say on my page that its one soul two bodys living separate lives collecting data that stores to the soul, but because its the same soul, they essentially share the same file folder shelf, deep in the subconscious, that is where the knowing comes from. Once u make it all the way through, you see it as more or a spiritual journey back to self love and learning your core values and morals and upholding them every day. I'm very grateful for it, and I also believe that twins are not always going to end up together romantically, but remain in eachothers lives for life in some way shape or form
