- In this video I discuss my journey into becoming an Energy Healer and why I have deep concerns about where this field is heading and how it has become overly commercialized and even turned into a pyramid scheme to extract money out of people.
I further discuss the issues I’ve seen in misappropriating many of these spiritual practices for egoic needs and financial gain, as well as cover what needs to be done to hopefully get this field back on track.
I could not agree with you more. I never believed in the weekend courses. I have a gift of healing and it took me 10 years of daily awareness expansion to seriously understand what energy healing is all about. 10 years of deep dark night of the soul to fully awake to read and send energy. I have just found you and cannot believe how many things I've said & felt over the last year that you are saying in your videos! I also had such a shift with Reiki that it led me to do the training all the way to master but I've just left it feeling exactly what you said. Amazing videos, much love from Australia ❤🙏

I’m seeing this video, for the first time in late December 2021 but, honestly, this is something I’ve been thinking since I first ran across the marketing of the Reiki practice in the 1980s. In fact, I'm used the same term you used: pyramid scheme.
Hi! I am new to Reiki. I know energy work is real.. But as new as I am I already have the same reservations as you.. I have seen the second level overnight stuff.. And I'm not comfortable with it. I have heard of people paying up to 10k to become a "Master".. I just asked on Google if this Reiki thing was turning into a ponzi scheme. Anyway.. Thank you. I hope you get to see this. I have been searching for a true teacher.. We'll see if they materialize. I'm in VT.. It's sparse. Anyway, thanks. I see my intuition is on track. ✌️.

I understand your frustration and feel your passion, not going to give unsolicited advice, just going to speak on my experience; I've been in the military for 12 years now and had my spiritual awaking in the height of the “war” where I was thrown into the role of healing the traumatic experience of my friends and myself among other things which drastically changed my perspective and has led me to the decision to leave the military soon. I have researched on my own for the last ten years esoteric teachings and religion of all types; I have no “certificate,” took no course; no one said “you’re a healer now,” all I do is try to gain as much gnosis as possible and help as many people as possible. I do not subscribe to any label or tradition (shaman maybe 🤷🏾♂️); I use what works for me. As far as the spiritual community, I think it's right where it's supposed to be because where else would it be but in the state it's in now. What I've realized in my journey is people's perspective is built on the mental constructs and beliefs they gathered throughout life, and the only actions I can control are my reactions to situations. I feel as though “right” and “wrong” is a construct based on the current reality tunnel said person subscribes to and that people are often doing the best they can with the current understanding of reality they have. I used to want to save the world, but I realized the world is fine just the way it is, and to want to change it is my ego wanting to control something outside my sphere of understanding. Now I strive to be a Hallow Bone and observe the world and help where I'm able to help and save my energy for situations where I can effect positive change. Sorry so long! Thank you for sharing your perspective, and believe me, I truly understand your frustration. Keep up the fantastic work, and thank you for being a conduit of energy for this plane of existence. 🍀

I became disillusioned a long time ago, I found my reiki folder the other day with all the symbols and certificates , I could,n’t do it , Charge people a lot of money when they come to you in a desperate state, No ,no way. Well said, I agree with everything you said EXCEPT showing the symbols. I believe it’s disrespectful to Spirit to show those sacred symbols (even though they are google-able). I believe it’s important not to add more gasoline to fire, per say.
Now as a Reiki Master myself; it took me 3 years to become a master and I just started charging. My ancestors and guides taught me in between the classes with various initiations and I’ve researched as well (I’ll always be researching). I’ve awakened my other healing modalities in the process. A lot of people aren’t trusting their spiritual council and just doing mainstream stuff and it shoes.
As for everything else. I believe thats just the left over energy of the Piscean Age. Exploitation of beliefs and delusions of grandeur are being dismantled as we speak even though we would like it to be quicker than most. I’ve had visions of a lot of “spiritualists” being exposed. The Reiki community won’t be exempted from it either.
Reiki is part of the Age of Aquarius industry, the attempt to blame Pisces doesn't hold water. Zack exposed reiki for what it is: a pyramid scheme.

İ took reiki all levels within like four to five months, my teacher didn't allow us to take level 2 before finishing 21days of practice on self and family members.. and there was a good amount of practice sessions during course where each two trainees worked on each other.. in level two i remember i gave and received at least two to three sessions per day .. in the master level honestly i wish there was more practice but the group was big and there was less time.. however after master level i had to take two more levels for teaching.. after hearing you speak i feel i was lucky having the teacher i had, though she was annoyed of me asking tons of questions 😅
And by the way me and my colleagues all agree not to take clients until we really understand energy better

Wow! I came to the conclusion that Reiki was a pyramid scheme back in 2000 reading the literature from the International Center for Reiki Training. They claim to be cheaper than Takata, and will if you have the money, attune anyone. It has become the McDonald's of the healing arts. If you wish to become a Center Certified Teacher, there is no end to the costs. They also trademark everything. New types of Reiki channeled by the CEO who claims to have attained a STRONGER type of Reiki through his meditation practices by some kind of personal guru. He even trademarked the name of the Holy Spirit which is from God is God and is open to anyone who asks. The story of the century old practice passed on by Takata is a proven LIE to sell it to a predominantly Christian America. Anything that begins on a lie and costs thousands can't be good, pure, true and from God. Oh, you say 3 weeks, some courses will make you a Master in a weekend then, make their students do a course at a time at least a year apart then, decide if you are allowed to be a Master.
This "art" was perverted a long time ago. Like I said, I discussed this after I realized it was a scheme to keep you adhered to a school. In this case the International Center for Reiki Training, who when everybody has their NEW type of Reiki (trademarked) invent another one, which they claim is MORE powerful and trademark that at higher and higher prices. Now, they are giving attunements ONLINE! It is a hands-on healing modality that if it is authentic in any way, MUST be taught in person.
I am a 5 time Master/Teacher who spent years traveling to receive my training, and additional classes from teachers from around the world. I have given up teaching Reiki. If I do healing, I DO NOT CHARGE and DO NOT CHARGE if anyone wants an attunement as I believe everyone needs to be able to channel healing energy to heal humanity and the world.
BTW, that "triangle" symbol is NOT a part of the traditional or Japanese Reiki passed on by Dr. Hayashi. I have never, in all my experience and training seen it before. Someone made that up and stuck it in. The Sei He Ki doesn't look right either does the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. I have copies of the symbols as drawn by Mrs. Takata who brought Reiki to America.
I received my Master/Teacher degree in 1997, and received each degree a year apart. Then, I went on to receive 4 additional Master/Teacher degrees. I have read every authentic Reiki book and been taught by world renowned Reiki Masters. I can tell you after 27 yrs I do know what I am talking about. Also, I can trace my lineage to Mrs. Takata within 2 Masters in between. My Master, who received it directly from Iris Ishikuro who received it from Hawayo Takata.
