Very nice tutorial, thank you for it! I followed it 2 times to make sure everything was done as it is. I have a problem in the visualization final step. For some reason the water does not show particles as you have, its like space between them is so thin that it is not even possible to notice the particles. Is there a way to dacrease the particles size? I can send you and picture if you could help me :)
why does the water-Part hast the same dimension like the can since the can contains the water? Does'nt it affect the result? I have a general question concerning the use of shell element
I guess you understand the finite element modeling. 22 year back the fluid structure interaction was developed to address the bird strike event for aerospace industry. Later on it was leverage for other industries like packaging. Now coming to your point how it is important for industrial profit. The bodies of beverage cans are made of aluminum alloy (Al) 3004, while the ends are made of Al 5182, making it the largest volume alloy combination in the industry. Every gram saved on the material gives huge saving to beverage industry. I will suggest you to do some of your own research before criticizing others.
I am getting this error :(Error in job Candroptest: The rigid bodies with the reference nodes contained in node set ErrNodeRefNodeNoRot1Axis have atleast one axis about which the rotary inertia magnitude is zero, and the rigid bodies have atleast one rotational degree of freedom which is unconstrained. Either rotary inertia must be defined at the reference nodes or all of the rotational degrees of freedom at the reference nodes must be constrained. See the status file for further details.)..... please help
Dassault System should learn a marketing strategy from this man. Lots of students dislike Abaqus because it is bloody expensive to learn. Really.
This is big compliment for me.
Can't agree more .
You're on fire, thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot for your support
keep going. Amazing videos
Great video sir...Very helpful for my project, thanks a ton
Have you ever worked in hydraulic Fracture modeling, I am working on a project of the topic and I need some advise.
Hi, is possible tom simulate non newtonian fluid in Abaqus (Shear Thhickening)? especifically using SPH. Many thanks in advance!
hello thanks, how did you simulate, because i tried but i cant, the can stay in the same place. :(
Thank you. Good presentation. Could you let me know what is the critical strain value for rupture of aluminium 6082-T6. Any reference for this value.
hello thanks for your great job,plz how did you get the command prompt?
Go to start prompt of window, you will see Abaqus Command. Incase not clear send the mail to abaqusacumen@gmail.com. I will send you the snap shot.
Very nice!!! Can you do something with materials that are strain rate dependent?
hi. can you post a video of modelling of concrete pole with reinforcements.
what is the difference between running the job with double precision and not? Is it about accuracy?
Very nice tutorial, thank you for it!

Not a system I'm used to, but the density looks off by factor of 10 (ton/mm3)?
Hey can you make a video on assigning the material property for water.
good work ,can we use these steps with coupled temperature displacement or not?
Awesome!!
Thanks a lot.
is this SPH adapting eulerian formulation?
Great tutorial! Can you make a tutorial on cold spraying powder impact ? i'm in dire need of that tutorial :(
Why didnt you put the line for can (the vertical line) ??
Plz explain why & how such simulations are important in industrial profits......🙏

bro im facing the same problem 4 years later and it is pissing me off
so I googled the conversion of inch to mm and found that 0.004 in corresponds to 0.1016 mm but you used 0.0102 mm
did I miss something?
The thickness of can is 0.0102 mm, I had check it physically. I guess I guff with unit inch. Thanks a lot for bring to to my notice.
Abaqus Acumen thank you for such a quick response!!!
could you make a video about CEL technique too?
We had made with CEL
nice!
