I have been playing through the case files and each one plays really differently. I have found that depending on which characters you bring the tactics you need to succeed are also vastly different, which I think adds to the replay value. One of my new favorites.
The reroll symbol on the blue die allows you to reroll any number of dice actually. Lovelly paint job btw.
Looking forward to the next case file. Looking forward to trying out my game as well when i get the time.

Love this game, its been my favorite since I got it on the 20th of January and have played it 10 times at least. Absolutely love it but I also got the Deluxe Kickstarter Hellboy board game with lots more content than the retail game.

yea nice. i love this game, got the kickstarter version. Liked your play through very much enjoyed it. You forgot to downgrade dice for every oother character in the way or in the target area though. And you are not automatically stunned when you get hurled. Also when you get downgraded from yellow you loose the dice instead .

I feel like there isn't enough variation in the baddies, really aching for an expansion. I really like the game play mechanics though.

You didn't downgrade dices for being outnumered (downgrade one dice for each enemy in space besides the target one) and you didn't aply wound for Hellboy when leaving an enemy occupied space. The game is great. I play this scenario twice and get my ass kicked by Boss

The only thing I don't like about the first case file is that there's only for 2 agents. We need all 4! and support agents to have dialogues "in character". I like this game a lot, but I read the comics and saw the 5 movies, so I'm not an impartial judge. This is an opportuity to create a new story. Your game had a lot of drama with Hellboy being knocked, but Abe saved the day!

Can't you reroll as many dice as you want?
A really cool combat system and a well implemented theme on a somewhat shallow and short of content base game. Even if you get all expansions, the game lacks flavor texts and a campaign mode, which is a shame because it would be simple to implement and would greatly help with the fun factor.
How do the characters get more cards?
Exploration is a free action. You have paid for it. And can we.move diagonally right?

You didn't buy Requisition cards for your characters. There are a few that would have really helped.
Also, as much as I enjoy this game, I really wish something had been done to balance boss fights vs number of players. As it is, with two characters, the regular game is too easy, and the boss fights are way too hard.
