Fairly new player here and have never taken the game that seriously but am now looking to go as far as I can this League. This is by far the best build guide I have ever seen. So much detail and reasons why we pick what we pick. Most guides just say do this do that with no explaination. Love it, definitely subbed!

Crafting got easier when I started to see it as a sudoku puzzle and considering the order of operations as with math. Crafting has become my favorite gamba, it's like counting cards in blackjack now
If you're a new player, don't bother crafting. You'll just get frustrated by wasting all of your currency for shitty to mediocre results. Just buy the gear you need and roll from there.
Well everyone is on DND mode, good luck buying your gear. Prices are insane too at league start so, if you don't know how to craft either wait 3 weeks or don't play this game.

Also, I'm not sure if already available - but some detailed boss guides by you would also be incredibly useful for new players. @@kingofthefall.1117 slayer is safer pick since we know the limits of it and more tanky. warden is still unknown how it works, but theorically MORE dmg and less survival but could be wrong.

Awesome. Yeah I hate having to play other skills on league start until a certain point. Our defences will be low until our first lab because we have to be greedy to get this version up and running, but it's worth it to actually get to play our skill before the end of campaign
This is awesome! Ive only played one league before, a couple of years ago, and thought Warden looked awesome, so was planning to play Settlers. Id seen a couple of LS builds, but they were all non-tinctures, and I was trying to work out how to fit them in, and this is *exactly* what I was hoping for,
I'm glad! I think other creators haven't explore Tinctures enough or are being cautious and waiting to see if they're as good as they look before recommending them. I'm glad you're into the idea of trying Tinctures too!
For Labs, always remember, you can always Weapon Swap to a bow, with Blink Arrow or something instead of doing a Whirling Blades and getting stuck on stuff.
I think the most interesting thing about warden is every ascendency node is interesting and could be a viable option ! Lots of experimenting with it this league !!

Built an warden as a beginner and doing t16maps comfortable .. made a script via powershell which press 4 and 5 every 10.5 seconds so every single flask is automated its insane
what I heard about Oath of Summer vs Winter: "We are never assuming a 30% scorch on bosses and are only assuming a 15% which is reasonable. On white mobs we will do 30% scorches which greatly helps with clear. Oath of Winter is practically useless in this build as we have such a large cold hit that we will pretty constantly freeze mobs anyways, by default we get ~60-70% of the effect of Winter for free. Nothing will live 2 seconds and it isint worth giving up summer for "maybe sometimes winter does something useful." The only place where it will really shine is on bosses where youd realistically be able to get decent uptime on the boss being frozen which reduces its action speed by 50%. I personally dont find much value in this as you will have so much burst dps on a boss, the reduced action speed isint going to make or break you living vs you just killing the boss faster with summer."
Thank you for the extensive build guide! I've been following this one for league start. LS is a bit rough in the beginning without the added flat damage component on the gem and really bad weapons/gear but once you take that initial hurdle (vaal LS helped a lot) it was starting to pop off quite well. So about Tinctures. They are pretty strong as expected. I found a rage generating Tincture which sounds really interesting but sticking to the ele damage and crit one for now. The Tincture uptime/mana burn tech you explained in your seperate video works quite well. However the usage is really quite annoying. I don't even mind pressing the buttons so much but the fact that they run asynchronous with the regular flasks is a bit much. Right now 50% of my gameplay consists of looking at the bottom left corner to check flasks/tinctures and piano them to get a decent uptime and you have to because Tinctures are literally 4 (or 2 if you want) ascendancy points worth of damage and honestly without them I do feel a bit flacid. I really hope you can automate them later like you can do flasks. A "use when off cooldown" is all I need. I hope GGG thought about adding this through either crafting bench or enchanting from the league mechanic. Can anyone confirm this who is further progressed than me?

You definitely need to get into a rhythm with the Tinctures so you don't have to constantly look at it - usually you can "feel" when they're done because like you said, your damage is a little lackluster without them. I also hope they'll add some kind of automation because it's just a return to flask piano which they know people hate.

Ive had a good time with this one. Had a little bit of a struggle starting maps but the further i got with gear and specs the better it got. Now with a 850ele dps claw and some 20 divs gear beyond that Im tanking bosses in t17 maps which is nice since I dont like avoiding mechanics.

You've put a lot of effort in this build theorycraft, It will 100% rival a classic LS Slayer. I would've played it as well if we were able to automate tinctures, unfortunately I'm old and my hands hurts so guess I'll stay in my comfort zone
Ok ok you convinced me. I’m gonna league start this. I’m so curious how other builds will play with all the changes, but this seems relatively safe (plus I have played it before so I hopefully know what I’m doing). Looking forward to seeing how things like glad retaliation and bleed and other melee stuff goes for other people. I feel like this is a multi character league for sure.
I'm not sure it's going to be as difficult to max scorch unless I'm misunderstanding how it will be applied. If you needed a single hit to reach a 60% scorch, that would be tough, but it's two separate scorches that you need to hit 30% on, and each scorch applied increases your damage which increases your next scorch. With an ability like Lightning Strike with so many hits, I can't help but think this will stack up very quickly just like shock.
What about dropping avatar of the wilds and going both shock and freeze ascendency points? I assume at endgame, you don't really have to worry about the "hits always shock/freeze/ignite" with 100% crit chance, and you can probably stack the 50 shocks easily enough. You lose the ability to go 80% more damage on a button press as you have to ramp, but on the flip side you won't have to worry about having weird downtime on the ulti button if a boss phases at a weird time.
Yeah I've been considering this! Or even something as weird as going Winter and Barkskin if I'm mainly mapping? I think we'll have enough damage without it. I can't wait to test all of it 😍
I'm going to take the gamble and start this in HC. I think once I get the first lab done it should feel fine having Barkskin. Probably just take it a little slow up to lvl 46 but I think it will make up time on other less cautious builds after that. Hopefully 3 labs and maps in 4 hr 30 min but that might be pushing it too far. Thanks for the great build!

hi, thanks for the build guide, almost all achievement is reachable with this char, with one exception though. do you think it's possible to beat Atziri? since one of her copy is reflecting elemental dmg, I always end up killing myself instantly by bouncing particles!?
@@Lolcohol lol man :D this driven me crazy, died so many times in the past (different char), after I realized that one of them is reflecting I just gave up, I didn't know avoiding reflected dmg is this easy and it's just right there on the tree :) thanks :D btw I'm not dumb, but was dumb... took me 2 deaths and losing 15% xp on lvl 94, when I realized, I accidentally went with reflexted physical the first time :D :D so ashamed :)
@@Jaze92 I think something is wrong about that, you wouldn't want a 100 stacks of mana burn right? I will go for the increased rate which will be hitting 12 mana burn in 3.7 seconds. %3-4 mana loss in total is a great deal. I can press or set a macro for every 10 seconds.

Why all love use 3 mods 8large clusters? Much more profit 84 lvl 35% effect 4% attack /cast speed + incr damage/life/es+ useful suf ( viciuos bite for minions / chaos res for another builds/ stats)
Are we able to flask enchant tinctures because having to cast them non stop like old flasks or divine. Lessing will suck especially if we’re double tincture
Getting some of the block chance nodes at the duelist side along with a decent shield can get you to attack block cap. Along with tempest shield with a block mastery you can get around 40 spell block and shock immune. You also get access to a life cluster. Is this worth going for, by removing some offensive nodes on the tree?
It might be yeah. The build has decent defences but maybe we will eventually sacrifice some damage for cool tech like that. Although with Oath of Winter, hopefully everything will be too busy being frozen to hit us lol
Just tested leveling and it will be challenging for new players. You have to be skilled in many aspects of game to rich red maps really fast. If you don't like it better to start LS Slayer
I would recommend tytykiller's vid for the leveling. I tried yours but I struggled around act 4-5. Switching to LS later in the campaign made it simplier.
If you can link it to me on Discord, that'd be great. Bows are easier but a lot of people don't want to be playing some other skill for 90% of the campaign :(

I'm just gonna play safe and play Slayer LS instead. If Warden is really that good I would swap but for a theorical class I don't want to mess up as a League Start. GL everyone!
Never played melee, so what am I misunderstanding about the PoB? For the early acts it uses bow skills but the weapon items are sword and claw, no bow? Galvanic and Burning Arrow skills can't be used with the weapons equipped in the PoB so I'm confused
Ah that's bad on my part. I didn't want to add too many item sets and make it cluttered, so left out the bow part of leveling. The melee weapons are there for when you swap to VG but use a bow for the bow skills
Level 50. Swapped from venom gyre to lightning strike and my damage went to 0. Takes 30s+ to slap a rare or blue mob down while with venom gyre I was able to breeze through most things. Same weapons still as those are the best I've found. Also: What is the reasoning for choosing Primal Spirit instead of Heart of Oak right away?
@@Lolcohol i also admit the leveling was a little rough but once i reached mapping and upgraded my gear VERY slightly it became really strong especially with the avatar state, that ascendancy is absolutely turbo broken
@@Lolcohol Is primal spirit really necessary for early game though, just to be respecced out of it few hours later? It'd help if the PoB also had a tree between Leveling 2 and Leveling 3 that has 56 passives for lightning strike. Changed to Deadeye already and it's been a blast.
As a new melee player, I had a terrible time with this build, followed the build guide , didnt have the currency for scourings to completely pivot the whole build at level 46? Back to caster I go, 8 mins and 17 deaths later on kitava, im done for the league, never playing melee again.

The bark nodes are just bad. The defenses they give are trivial.

For me, the tinctures are the biggest point for me. I have had a LOT of fun with tinctures when they were current league.

Ok ok you convinced me. I’m gonna league start this. I’m so curious how other builds will play with all the changes, but this seems relatively safe (plus I have played it before so I hopefully know what I’m doing). Looking forward to seeing how things like glad retaliation and bleed and other melee stuff goes for other people. I feel like this is a multi character league for sure.

Haha yes I had a mini melt down about the respeccing costs but it’s been a blast.
I'm not sure it's going to be as difficult to max scorch unless I'm misunderstanding how it will be applied.
If you needed a single hit to reach a 60% scorch, that would be tough, but it's two separate scorches that you need to hit 30% on, and each scorch applied increases your damage which increases your next scorch. With an ability like Lightning Strike with so many hits, I can't help but think this will stack up very quickly just like shock.
What about dropping avatar of the wilds and going both shock and freeze ascendency points? I assume at endgame, you don't really have to worry about the "hits always shock/freeze/ignite" with 100% crit chance, and you can probably stack the 50 shocks easily enough. You lose the ability to go 80% more damage on a button press as you have to ramp, but on the flip side you won't have to worry about having weird downtime on the ulti button if a boss phases at a weird time.
Yeah I've been considering this! Or even something as weird as going Winter and Barkskin if I'm mainly mapping? I think we'll have enough damage without it. I can't wait to test all of it 😍
I'm going to take the gamble and start this in HC. I think once I get the first lab done it should feel fine having Barkskin. Probably just take it a little slow up to lvl 46 but I think it will make up time on other less cautious builds after that. Hopefully 3 labs and maps in 4 hr 30 min but that might be pushing it too far. Thanks for the great build!
Eeeeeek! If you do, I HIGHLY recommend sticking with bows for a lot longer and taking some more life points on the tree earlier! Good luck D:

hi, thanks for the build guide, almost all achievement is reachable with this char, with one exception though. do you think it's possible to beat Atziri? since one of her copy is reflecting elemental dmg, I always end up killing myself instantly by bouncing particles!?
Soul of Yugul Pantheon + the elemental mastery that makes you take 60% reduced elemental reflected damage = no elemental reflect :)
@@Lolcohol lol man :D this driven me crazy, died so many times in the past (different char), after I realized that one of them is reflecting I just gave up, I didn't know avoiding reflected dmg is this easy and it's just right there on the tree :) thanks :D
btw I'm not dumb, but was dumb... took me 2 deaths and losing 15% xp on lvl 94, when I realized, I accidentally went with reflexted physical the first time :D :D so ashamed :)

@@Jaze92 I think something is wrong about that, you wouldn't want a 100 stacks of mana burn right? I will go for the increased rate which will be hitting 12 mana burn in 3.7 seconds. %3-4 mana loss in total is a great deal. I can press or set a macro for every 10 seconds.

Why does the non tincture version use tincture ascendency ?
Why all love use 3 mods 8large clusters? Much more profit 84 lvl 35% effect 4% attack /cast speed + incr damage/life/es+ useful suf ( viciuos bite for minions / chaos res for another builds/ stats)
Because those are insanely expensive to make and i84 12 passive larges are way rarer
Are we able to flask enchant tinctures because having to cast them non stop like old flasks or divine. Lessing will suck especially if we’re double tincture

Getting some of the block chance nodes at the duelist side along with a decent shield can get you to attack block cap. Along with tempest shield with a block mastery you can get around 40 spell block and shock immune. You also get access to a life cluster. Is this worth going for, by removing some offensive nodes on the tree?
It might be yeah. The build has decent defences but maybe we will eventually sacrifice some damage for cool tech like that. Although with Oath of Winter, hopefully everything will be too busy being frozen to hit us lol

Just tested leveling and it will be challenging for new players. You have to be skilled in many aspects of game to rich red maps really fast. If you don't like it better to start LS Slayer
It's more complex than leveling a spell based build for example but all the info is there. Just make sure to read stuff!
I would recommend tytykiller's vid for the leveling. I tried yours but I struggled around act 4-5. Switching to LS later in the campaign made it simplier.
If you can link it to me on Discord, that'd be great. Bows are easier but a lot of people don't want to be playing some other skill for 90% of the campaign :(

I might have missed something but TBH just use Tinctures - you're actually doing yourself a disservice if you don't use them on Warden :(

Never played melee, so what am I misunderstanding about the PoB? For the early acts it uses bow skills but the weapon items are sword and claw, no bow? Galvanic and Burning Arrow skills can't be used with the weapons equipped in the PoB so I'm confused
Ah that's bad on my part. I didn't want to add too many item sets and make it cluttered, so left out the bow part of leveling. The melee weapons are there for when you swap to VG but use a bow for the bow skills
should I play this build or splitting steel champion? which build has more potential?
Level 50. Swapped from venom gyre to lightning strike and my damage went to 0. Takes 30s+ to slap a rare or blue mob down while with venom gyre I was able to breeze through most things. Same weapons still as those are the best I've found.
Also: What is the reasoning for choosing Primal Spirit instead of Heart of Oak right away?

@@Lolcohol i also admit the leveling was a little rough but once i reached mapping and upgraded my gear VERY slightly it became really strong especially with the avatar state, that ascendancy is absolutely turbo broken
@@Lolcohol Is primal spirit really necessary for early game though, just to be respecced out of it few hours later? It'd help if the PoB also had a tree between Leveling 2 and Leveling 3 that has 56 passives for lightning strike.
Changed to Deadeye already and it's been a blast.
As a new melee player, I had a terrible time with this build, followed the build guide , didnt have the currency for scourings to completely pivot the whole build at level 46? Back to caster I go, 8 mins and 17 deaths later on kitava, im done for the league, never playing melee again.
