MEGA ABBRUCH BAUSTELLE! Abriss der ehemaligen Oberpostdirektion in Hamburg. Das beeindruckende Gebäude mit 11 Etagen wird wegen seiner Architektur auch "Postpyramide" genannt. In den 70er Jahren in der City Nord erbaut, war es Arbeitsplatz für 1.400 Menschen. Im Jahr 2011 wurde das Gebäude wegen Mängeln beim Brandschutz geräumt, im Jahr 2017 begann der Abriss. Die Arbeiten übernimmt die Firma Hagedorn. Ein Seilbagger mit Kugel beginnt am oberen Stockwerk, unterstützt von einem Longfront Bagger.

Tearing down the former headquarter of the german postal service - "the pyramid". Built in the 70's the impressive 11 story building was closed in 2011 due to fire protection issues. A renovation would have been too expensive and the decision was made to replace the building with new residential houses. A giant crawler crane with wrecking ball starting at the top of the building, supported by a high reach demolition excavator.

Eindrückliche Bilder. Wie lange hat es gedauert, bis alles, inklusive Untergeschossen abgebrochen war?
Vielen Dank! Vom Beginn der Abbrucharbeiten am Hauptgebäude bis zum Beseitigen der Fundamente sind etwa 8 Monate vergangen.
@@DREAMMACHINEShh Guten Morgen und Danke. Da wiewohl viel Schutt und Metall, Kabel etc zusammenkommen sein. Eine grosse Aufgabe das alles zu trennen und entsorgen.
Viel steht ja nicht mehr. Ist da eigentlich ein großer Keller? Da braucht man ja immer schweres Gerät, um den Keller rauszureisen. Bei uns haben die nen 352f gebraucht, aber der 960 müsste das ja auch locker schaffen.
es soll 4 Untergeschosse geben. Aufräumen müssen die Caterpillar Bagger alleine, der Liebherr wird auf einer anderen Baustelle gebraucht.

thats a surprisingly new crane to run a wrecking ball
I'm sure, if you and I had those machines, we would have had that building down in a week and the site cleared ages ago.... but we would have probable killed ourselves too!!!! (NB: I'm guessing this is not real time uploads... )

no it is not realtime. Till this stage it took around 5 weeks from day one with the wrecking ball

Why do they use the smallest wrecking balls to tear down the largest buildings? There are larger ones out there... I've seen them on other videos.

@@DREAMMACHINEShh I know that they know what they're doing... that's why they're there. But damn, it probably took an eternity to tear down that building with that miniature wrecking ball.
