Well done Sir. Having now completed the whole of Lands End to Inverness in bits (a mixture of the well-known long-distance trails plus linking sections which I made up), I will be starting on Inverness to John O’Groats soon. No way would I have done those ledges outside the barbed wire fences though - I would be much more inclined to ease myself over the barbed wire and walk the other side.
I stayed in the same campsite with the road on one side and railway on the other side just out Tain. I was woken up by a train at 5am!
