    Good job. The black cover under the first panel you unbolted usually has two more T15 screws you need to remove before you can unclip it. The front one is accessible, the rear is close to the back so a normal ratchet won't fit. Need a smaller 90 degree tool to get it out or you have to get inventive. Looks like last person didn't replace those screws on yours. Not sure it matters but they keep that black cover more or less airtight. When you remove the cover in the video, you can see the hole where the front screw goes.

      I will have to check that on the next filter change and put them in if they are missing. I don't like missing bolts. My wife's mercedes is set up the same way then with the clips then the screws.

      Are you sure? The factory manual shows no screws holding the L shaped cover in, just the clips.

      i use T20 instead of T15, much better

    The 970 fastened the passenger's lower cover without screws, but the 971 is a little more uncomfortable than the 970.
