These guys always jump to Kit’s monetization of these videos thinking THAT is the reason he calls. It’s about awareness, of their horrible practices that hurt people on a daily basis but they are either oblivious or in denial or just don’t care about others so they see it as a money grab.

@@mrschips You have to remember that he is a scammer. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a complete lie, or if "charity" means something like giving money to family members. Scammers frequently try to claim they only do it to help poor/sick family members, to pay for education, etc. and that is just about always a lie. Nearly all of them are of a middle-class background.

You can hear his evil voice change when he thinks he's found another way to scam you, but suddenly he's no longer philanthropic when you give the condition of it being an accredited charity.
Hey Kit just a suggestion- when the scammer gives their obvious fake name, just causally mention that that’s your name too, and then later on in the call have either you as the banker or family member call the name out and frustrate the scammer.
Or he could say that's his cat/dog's name and at random times shout the scammer's name and clap his hands

Either way though they caught on to who he was at 10:00. Could've been any number of things, using a troll name from a popular TV show, his usual format of wasting their time, his voice, his accent.

I think it’s really impressive and respectable that Kitboga stays cool even when the scammer starts to argue with him personally. It’s easy to shoot down the scammer completely when they start to attack what he does, even without cursing and yelling back, but Kit doesn’t stoop to that level.

my boyfriend and I got a call from apple support (it was a scam of course) and this indian guy was on the other end and I used my UK accent (I'm American and I decided and use my fake UK accent) and I decided to have "fun" by asking him how he was and how lovely the weather was, i asked him if he wanted a cup of tea and that I was trying to make conversation by wasting his time. He then proceeded to say "ma'am your wasting my time" in an "ugg" time of tone and I said "that's what I'm here to do is waste your time! I laughed and hung up!! it was hilarious!!!!!!!

I truly appreciate these videos. I work in a retail store and have been able to help so many people - not always elderly - who would have been scammed out of hundreds of dollars, as well as informing our customers of how to avoid scammers in the first place. I've even had people who burst into tears because they were ready to turn over the money they couldn't afford when there was no need for it. Thank you, Kitboga.
Encourage them to contact their Bank as well as the scammers keep telling them not to speak to their Bank yet hearing it from you will reinforce that it is the right thing to do. If they do they will discover that the transfers were really their own money moving from one account to another and that they are only attempting to buy gift with their own money. No purchase of gift cards = no lost money.
