Hey Matt, I really like your reviews and the SoCal sightseeing. We lived in SoCal for over 35+ years, in West LA, Venice, and Redondo. I ran and biked in the same areas as your reviews, so not only are they informative and fun to watch, but they bring back many fond (and a few not so fond) memories. I purchased a Wallkee H9 after you buried the rear wheel up to the axle and then drove it out of the sand on throttle only. I now ride in tbe Sierra Nevada foothills. The Wallke has no problem on the 30%+ inclines and loose, sandy soil of my favorite trails. Thanks for your reviews, Matt - keep up the great work!
@dariusx4829 We moved up to rural Northern California, halfway between Sonora and Columbia in the Sierra Nevada foothills. It's a great area for biking. I'm looking forward to exploring the historic Mother Lode next Spring!
Matt, love this video along with all the others. I've noticed recently you haven't been showing the acceleration 0-20 times as it compares to others in the category. That's pretty useful for those of us who use metrics like that to base a decision. Really use the times like that as a comparison between the others. To me, the best parts of videos are: speed making it to the top of your garage, 0-20 time as compared to others in the same category, top speed in level 5, total range and how it performs in the sand. Keep it up. Hopefully will bump into you again down there. Happy holidays!
glad to see you're still alive after being assaulted by the catalytic theft guys. The crazy shiz you find on your rides is amazing. I see it as added bonus for seeing how awesome some of these bikes are.
Honestly, the most objective and unbiased ebike reviews, love the content! any thoughts on the fiido c11 and whether or not it can compete in the budget e bike market?
This bike would be perfect for me. I've been wanting a more portable bike that I can fit in my car and take it on rides further away from home. The two features I like the most is that 1000 watt motor and that it can handle up to 400 pounds. That's great for heavier riders like myself. I think I'll be considering one of these for the upcoming riding season.
I love you video keep up the good work last time I asked you about the e bike it was the crown KING crown but I decide to get a surron ultra bee and I will upgrade it so Happy holiday enjoy hope to hear from you soon
Do you think that the Heybike Horizon is worth the extra $300, considering you get larger 24 inch diameter wheels and full suspension for a more stable ride?
I'd say there are pros and cons... - Horizon will sit 2" higher off the ground due to 20 inch vs 24 inch wheels. This could be a con for a short rider, but a pro for a tall rider. - The 20's will feel more "light and nimble" and have more acceleration and climbing ability compared to 24's, but the 24's will feel smoother plowing over rough streets and higher speed riding. - The rear suspension on the Horizon will add more comfort and better compliance keeping the rear tire planted to the ground when going over rough street and also isolating you and the bike components from shock, but the rear suspension will add weight to the bike, and eventually require maintenance down the road, and it will also reduce your range because every time you accelerate the suspension will "eat" a small amount of power as it compresses rather than using that energy to propel the bike forward. That's my 2 cents, probably missed a few considerations, anyone else wanna chime in on an opinion? Hope this helps.
Horizon doesn't seem to have been updated with the color display so might have to wait for version 2 or request a factory swap if that matters to you and is compatible. Spoke wheels on Horizon (rather than mags) may occasionally need trueing. Unsure if it comes with the UL listed battery - same 692Wh battery capacity but can't guarantee if the certified battery has the same shape/fitment. Ranger 1000W motor peaks at 1800W vs Horizon 1400W peak indicates it has the older 750w nominal motor (edit: confirmed 750w). If you get either one pls come back here and leave some feedback of your experience, I'm also interested in both.
please activate the subtitles for the big fan of your channel that I am 🤩🤩🤩 I am French and hard of hearing it is very difficult for me without the subtitles, a big thank you to you🥰🥰🥰
I got the 1000 wat and recently got to try the 750 one and I have to say the 1000 feels miles ahead of the 750 . Just wish there was some options for a bigger battory
I have had this bike for 2 weeks and love it. It has a alot of torque and great brakes. It climbs hills awesome! I will be using it for hunting and taking it when we are RVing. I have had a MaxFoot MF19 1000Watt The bike i have now is the Vtuvia SF20 750 Watt the 100 nuten meters of torque on This Hey Bike really shows out. Love it!
Does the manufacturer say it's for street use only? My Lectric folding ebike says don't go off road on it. I wonder how sturdy these folding bikes are?
UL certification is completely meaningless. It would only mean anything if this ebike company was making its own batteries or having them made on contract with the likes of Samsung or LG for OEM purposes. But they aren't doing this.

I used to live in SoCal and recall the scenery as well. Moved to NC and haven't looked back! Where did you relocate to, if you don't mind me asking?

The solid spoke 20 inch X 4 wheels gets people's attention, I get comments everytime I ride my Bandit X Trail Pro. This form factor is good looking.

@ Thank you. Great reply. Will your promo code work for $100 off the Horizon or other bikes, or just the Ranger?

When you say the brakes aren’t ’bedded in yet’ does that mean brakes take a while to work correctly?
you should review the heybike mars 2.0 1000w. I'd gladly appreciate it if you do.
How many bikes do you keep at the moment? What do you do with the others? Do you just sell them locally? Thanks
Could you please review the lectric xp lite 2.0

They have plastic gears so too much hill climbing (like when offroading) and these things just melt. That's why emtb are so expensive.
Hey you ok my guy earthquake must have been crazy
