I think if power has been transferred to sheikh mujeeb then Pakistan could have been united. I was born after fall of Dhaka but I regret the sad Debacle of Pakistan. Even then we will always try to unite Pakistan and Bangladesh to be united Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad , Quaid e Azam zindabad , Fatima Jinnah zindabad .

Bhutto made a great mistake not supporting Shaikh Mujibur Rehman and the Awami League to form the government of Pakistan after the elections in 1970. Bhutto should have campaigned all over East and West Pakistan. They both should have put pressure on Yahya Khan and the martial law regime.
Absolutely not! If he hand overed the power to elected majority Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1970, Pakistan would not break!
We (Bangladesh) will remain in a atomic country and surely Pakistan would be a powerful nation with this province.
