My tip would be to buy intertwined fates as soon as you get more than 160 primos, and save those instead. Remove the temptation to wish on the standard banner completely. As there is literally nothing else one should be doing with primos other than wishing on character banners, why keep them around? It also makes it easier to keep track of exactly how many wishes you have.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!. By doing this you are one click away from summoning whereas by not converting you get noticed to convert them first giving you a chance to actually think it over

You could take a break and C6 a couple characters and probably still have enough gems by the time he comes out

My prob with saving is that im pretty new to genshin (ar 49 almost 50) so all the characters I want have their rerun very soon, like kazu and yea miko. So I prob wont get them. And ik I could grind ALOT, but I don't want myself to be in a genshin burn out while im so new to the game

My fischl is only c0 and I've played since 1.3 T_T
been saving for scara's c6 since 2022 (currently have his c3) tbh saving for him is very easy cuz i dont see myself maining anyone else anymore because his exploration utility is so good that i feel abysmally slow using my other characters (also since im a big scara fanboy so) currently have 260+ wishes
I'm also saving but for c6 wrio. Got his c2 on release and now waiting. Admittedly I also got navia cuz I really liked her and I don't regret it.
Currently have 60 wishes, and I'm a welkin player, but still, sometimes saving is so hard 😅
I love that energy. I hope I can be like this and save to c6 neuvi one day 😆

Thank you for doing these videos. I think this is not the first time you've done one like this but this still helped me in getting inspiration for wish grinding.
I always get the BP and welkin every time and it still gets hard to save since a lot of areas in my world are already at 90% exploration and my sources left are mostly dailies and achievements.
I got my primary goal character Raiden Shogun (now at C2 with R1 EL) after saving a lot of wishes from late August 2023 to the start of v4.3 phase 2.
In hoping to get C3, i lost 50/50 to Keqing. Now I have a guarantee and 170+ wishes saved and Im gonna use them all for Arlecchino too (along with her weapon which is rumored to be a scythe).
Thank you for these tips I really needed that cause the urge to pull is too strong sometimes thats why I ended up having Yelan and more recently Navia while I didnt want them that much

Yep this is pretty much what I do and cuz of that i always get what I want. Recently I had so much saved up primos that I made the goal of getting C6 Arlecchino. But then I tried out Xianyun and her jumping skill was so fun that I got her C1 and I haven't had this much fun in Genshin in over a year. So I'm no longer achieving my C6 Arlecchino goal any time soon but I don't regret it cuz I'll still get her at c0 at least and I'm having fun in Genshin rn. My top priority in Genshin is having fun and I figured ill have more fun with a C1 Xianyun than doing big numbers with a character whose kit I don't even know yet. So I guess what I'm trynna say is that if you follow this advice one day you'll have a surplus of primos and gain the privilege of being able to be flexible with your goals.
i also got her c1 brcause its so much fun. along rhe way my faruzan got her c6 so ill build her ad main dos cuz why not❤
Reminder: Don't forget saving up for the best in slot weapons. I've seen so many players joining me in Co-op with sub-optimal weapons and asking me how I deal so much more dmg. Yes C6 is nice, but maxed out BIS refined weapon isn't cheap either and can be hell to wait for when banners change.
I’ve been saving for R1C2 Lyney (I have C1) and I cracked on Xianyun’s banner after playing her story quest. It only put me down to 350 fates, hearing rumors of reruns are swaying me too because I have like… no supports LMAO.

Year before you said save primos and pull better characters and now I'm easily doing 36 stars as f2p with 12 limited characters just because I chose all best characters and invest in vertical way. Thanks your advice

Pretty good tip list, I think another could be willing to change your mind, is another character looking stronger or more valuable to your account? Do the four stars paired with them suck or not? I get that a lot of people don’t care about strength or pull value but it’s worth at least considering how worth it is to you to actually go for this unit, I was set on wriothesely but after hearing he was gonna be kinda mid and seeing neuvilette looking just as fun and way better for my account I changed my mind and got blastoise instead of hitmonchan
after almost a year of impulsive wishes while which i got yelan zhongli hu tao navia and 2 late lose i'm finally starting to save for c1 shenhe for my ayaka. im now guaranteed w 40 wishes done and almost 10 saved
I like to consider myself a semi-meta player, I want to be able to clear abyss, but with my favorite characters, so that means I want at least three fully built teams with the most optimal characters for them, but most of these teams are rather expensive.
As someone who really likes tighnari, xiao and wanderer, and plan to C6 them at some point, but also needs a fully built team of mostly 5 star characters, it can be pretty hard to save haha.
I’m currently on garanteed for xiao, then I hopefully will get yae miko, since I’ve been saving up since I started playing in 4.0 for the 4.4 banners. I already managed to get nahida for my tighnari team, unfortunately I lost the 50/50 on xianyun’s banner after also losing the 50/50 on nahida’s banner, so I had to skip Cloud Retainer.
After getting xiao and miko, I plan to get kazuha on 4.5 and furina on 4.6, then I’ll save for whenever zhongli, wanderer (I plan to C2R1 him right off the bat, so hopefully he’ll take a huge while to rerun) and xianyun rerun
after that I’ll finally have all my fave’s teams complete and can focus on saving for my top 3 characters cons and hopefully get some other characters that I like along the way, alhaitham, childe, and wrio might have to wait a bit longer haha
Currently saving for Alhaitham C0R1. I have a guarantee for his c0. Wish me luck for his weapon 😅.

I have c0 Furina so I'm saving to C6 her right now. Hopefully luck is on my side and it'll be doable.
I'm currently saving for Kokomi, Furina, and Arlechinno! I've given in twice already, once for Nahida (she was guaranteed and I really wanted a better Dendro than Yaoyao and Collei) and again for Yae. Luckily I got an early 5* for Yae, so I'm back to saving. However with the announcement of the 5* Banner having Eula and Klee, my will was once again tested, however watching this hopefully should help me with my saving (I need 90k Primos TwT). Also, I reccomend Silly Wisher if you want a wishing sim, its fun, free, and very silly!
my number 1 method used to be to cover up the part of my screen where i can see my primogem count with a piece of paper, and just try to not go into the wishing menu much in general. i saved up 45 pulls in the span of a month for furina using this method, and skipped the entirety of wriothesley's banner even though i love him so much (i lost the 5050 ofc but that allowed me to get ayato who's now my favorite character so i'm not even mad). since then i made myself a tier list of all five stars ordered from who i want the most to who i want the least, like al haitham and furina are ss, xiao is s, nilou is a, navia is b, albedo is c, eula is d and klee is f, i took into consideration who would help my account the most and also who i like the most personally, thats why xiao is so high.. but i'll get around to everyone eventually, since there's no character i genuinely hate
and the thing that's helping me save right now and works like a CHARM, is to replace your keybind of f3 leading to the wishing menu to instead lead to your character screen, just to show you everyone you've been benching and say BUILD THESE FIRST (it's rosaria sucrose and fischl for me) 😭😭 so everytime i try to use my muscle memory to wish, i just get reminded of this goal. i'm staying strong saving for al haitham using these methods right now!! let's hope he comes home early (my luck is absolutely abysmal in this game, so i am preparing for the absolute worst case scenario as you said, but i can always hope)

I'm saving for Itto since quite a few months now and I'm a very slow one, that sometimes even forgets to do anything in genshin for weeks. But the current banner is really tricky, since I mainly use Xiao. I could really need that support. But then again, I allready gave in to wishing at Navia's banner with sinngle pulls thinking: "I need more pity." Yk what happend? I got her being low on pity after like 4 single pulls. I didn't even really like her that much so it hurts even more. And now, idk what to do anymore. So thanks for this vid! :)

I decided to save for Chiori as soon as I saw her. I’m really hoping for C0 R1 but I don’t know how possible that will be… so far I have twelve fates and almost 7000 primos
Saving for wanderer c6 so far saved 460 pulls
I wished in my two accounts every 2 months of saving primogems. After i got 1st account Xianyun and 2nd account i get Navia w/ Verdict. My plan is to get Knave and Clorinde. I only get C0 and signature weapon (if i like the design) my two accounts have different set of character.
I started like a month ago, and I'm just happy to have 4 stars.

Can yelan be neuvellite's dsp replacement , I spent all my primos on nahida and getting neuvillite is not easy given that his rerun might be in next patch? If not pls recommended a good dps who works with nahida and fischl
Yelan and Neuvillette do completely different things. For nahida and fischl, Alhaitham will be your best dps.
I've mastered the art of saving for 5 stars, I now need to master the art of pulling for 4 stars efficiently. The problem of course is most of the time these two arts go contradicting on each other.
I have a big dillema. Ive been wanting kazuha for a long time. He would be amazing for my ayaka team. But i thought he would rerun much later, but now people are telling its gonna be in 4.5. The other character i really really need and want is nilou. She enables an amazing team for me with all the characters i love. I know nilou is a must on my account, but shes probably also coming pretty close. I have 60 pity and 16 wishes saved so far but i think im sadly gonna have to skip kazuha since im not gonna have enough wishes, plus im on a 50/50 ://

The only reason why I'm tempted to pull on specific character banners is because I hear people saying they're good with the character I'm aiming for. If I get this character, then the character I want will do MORE damage, but the thing is, I don't have that specific character and its unlikely I'll be able to get them. God, why does saving need to be so complicated?

I would save primos, but I just restarted playing at ar like, 8 and a few wishes, got tighnari, super lucky for a lot ar account, but for the life of me I cannot get gaming, the character I like and the one that can be a good dps with any constellation that I'd above 0, but I guess best at c4 and c6, long comment ik, sorry if this didn't have a point

Fellow Arlecchino saver yayy I started saving for her after losing my 50/50 on Neuvillette's banner and up to today I saved up 200 pulls so I was comfortable enough to do a 10-pull on Xianyun's banner hoping for a Gaming or the missing con for my Faruzan. Fortunately I got lucky and Xianyun came right away, and I say fortunately because I looove Cloud Retainer and I still got my Arlecchino garanteed 🥳🥰

Saving for childe's c6r1, currently he's c3r1. Dont judge me lol, I know his cons are trash but I'm a huge fan so I'll do it anyways. Last time I pulled was on 4.2 day 1 for furina. ~25k primos saved as of now. To keep myself motivated I have a bunch of things to do:
1) fanarts. Whether you're looking at your fav's fanarts or drawing them yourself - both of them is good. I have like 4k+ fanarts of taru saved on my Pinterest, twitter and tumbr acc combined
2) just like she said in the vid, consume ALL content of ur fav that there is. Whther it be official videos, guides, fanfictions, parodies, etc. Heck, you can even jerk off to their r34 if ur that kinda person 💀
3) dont open the wishing screen. I've noticed this: the longer I stare at the wishing screen and my primo count, the more likely I am to pull for a character I dont want. If you wanna check your progress go to inventory. DO NOT OPEN WISHING SCREEN AT ALL COSTS.
4) Don't look at leaks or guides about new characters you dont want bc that'll make you pull for them

I think you should wait for kazuha because the 4 stars are kinda meh on this Yae banner, plus Fischl exists
getting kazuha and yelan it's the best decision i made in this game, not only they're usefull in abyss clears, but they equally usefull in exploration, and daily commisions, which is what you do most of the time.
im saving for columbina and theres no content 🥲
