Patek, Vacheron, Audemars and their like don't use 904L steel. This makes me wonder.
You're just reading a script from steel suppliers - I doubt you even know what you're saying or what those industry buzz terms mean.
Grand Seiko uses everbriliant steel which is way more shinny than Rolex 904 and more corrosion resistant.

rolex sucks. made by robots. for years OMEGA used 904 and milled clasps while the bums at rolex used 316 and stamped
Why doesn't Patek and AP use 904L. They use the cheaper 316 that can be found on a Longines.
