very strange because Xiaomi 14 ultra international . the 3.2x telephoto camera has a record for the closest macro focus point of 10cm. and become the cellphone with the best macro photo capabilities in the world period. and the smaller battery of the Chinese Xiaomi 14 ultra makes the two phones seem different
In the end, it's all about personal preferences. Phones are too good now for that putting a winner is pretty difficult. It's all about which colour science you prefer.

For me, Vivo X100 Pro looks very complete in this case. Especially with Periscoped Camera photos.

Actually very similar. Camera wise the x100 pro offers the best value as it is cheaper than the other two and is using a current year flagship chip

Year long excitement for OPPO's X series is finally subdued with X7 ultra. Nothing mind blowing, gets the job done like previous gen.
to be honest previous gen they pretty much threw everything that was available that time. I pre-ordered find x7 ultra but if u can score a cheap price of find x6 pro imo is better purchase

On 2023, I have tested Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Honor Magic 5 Pro, and the Oppo X6 Pro was really the best camera with a significant gap.
Right now, Teh Vivo X100 seems to be the best choice. Waiting for the 14 Ultra 😁
i have seen multiple comparison so far vivo is better than other devices..oppo x7 ultra is close to it but i think it will get better if they tune the flaws in software bcz hardware is already present
x6 pro is better than x7 ultra, because x6 pro had a lot updates, x7 ultra ZERO updates.

one of the best reviews ever. And as you said its about photographer and not the phone. Most people will prefer iphone or pixel, because they are normies. These are the phones where you can make out the maximum from this camera hardware, and where the photographer matters the most.

If you take macro photos with ultra-wide camera. Just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in 5:50, I don't think that one counts as a macro photo.

Doesn't look it will be offered Globally it was announced it will be exclusive to China only.
In stock in China now and £1150 to import the Ultra version of the X7. So compared to the S24U and iPhone 15PM little difference in price when importing and paying the correct taxes. I think that I would easily choose the S24U or iPhone over the Ultra as although the camera hardware is great, it is unlikely to beat the S24U and that will have better support, modem bands and a much better UI (not a FunTouch fan).
It will not be released in the EU due to patent disputes.
@@andyH_England I've never used an iPhone only Android. Is it worth switching over to the 15 Pro Max? I know a lot of Chinese phones and Xiaomi have now locked the bootloader where it's harder to unlock now and LTE bands are limited.

I bought the 13 ultra mainly to shot macro picture but got disappointed bcuz of minimum focus distance is very large u have to get away from the object and im thinking about replacing what do suggest for me please if u can make a video about minimum focus distance on mobile phone.

U know were the same the best phone as of now is the vivo x 100 pro interms or PORTRAIT AND ALSO MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY u cant compare it to 13 ultra when it comes to macro the 8 x zoom of the vivo ut will switch to macro with a lot of details and 13 ultra cant do that! But i im ok with my 13 ultra plan to switch after 1 or 2 years hehe
try buying the ones that has floating lens, usually that means that it has no minimum focusing distance or at least a very small one.
that's it someone said it it depends on the photographer than the phone even my huawei p30 pro can take very nice photos with right light ambiance and tools for editing and me the photographer 😅
Sad. All these phones try to compete in the photography or videography area but does not have the fine controls user interface of a mirrorless camera like the Sony Xperia 1V has.
the position you put the pictures shows your stand. oppo either gets 2 times the space of the other two or locate in the center of the screen.
mkbhd just released a blind camera test, ranking chinese phones at low positions, photos taken from him in his video were really bad actually, but I doubt its authenticity of his content. Can you make a direct comparison with the iphone 15 pro max and pixel 8 pro to confirm that?
Samsung, Apple and Google have far better software whilst the Chinese OEMs have the better hardware. The Chinese need to up their software game to beat the Top 3 in cameras.

I opted for the OPPO Find X7 Ultra even though I have to import it because I like ColorOS and if I'm spending a lot of money software is as important as the hardware.
The drawings you use was really nice to show focal length.
However, who's the genius had the idea of putting Oppo's photos bigger while keeping the rest small? The video is for oppo okay. Understood. But how to make analysis of the details then? What a ridiculous idea.
I'm watching it on bigger screen in 4k and I laugh at the way you put photos, titles for each. 16:9 ratio and you don't even use full screen, just congested it in the middle of video while wasting the rest of the frame.
The photos are also taken in vertical which means you could fit all right next to each other. Seriously, who edited the video. I'll give a big applause to that genius...

Oppo is the best for human subject, and Vivo for everything else.
Great closing point - it’s down to the photographers. All phones can take good images. Colour science, saturation and sharpening are personal preferences
