marble is hard to recreate, I've found that a transparent milky white layer over the top helps to make some of the harsher marble grain lines look as though they are set deeper in the marble :) Looks stunning though!
good tip Maddie :)
good tip cameraman
Where do u stay
I really appreciate the fact that Suzie showed us the trial and error aspect of this process. Not many professionals will do that. 💜💜
I'm pretty sure all the viewers, like me, loves Camera Man.
Petronella Wessman precisely 👍🏻
I loveee it, and I love how raw your video is, how he was talking and we see your mistakes but not really mistakes just ur learning process.
I hope to make a video on trying it out my self soon
I hope to make a video on trying it out my self soon
Queen Enails That's exactly how I feel too 😃
Queen Enails I
Queen Enails me too!!!!
You should do a cameraman does my nails video 😉
Melissa Mangar
Yasssss
he's probably witnessed enough tutorials by now that he'd know what to do 😂
Lol yasss I hope she sees this
Melissa Mangar she really should that would be amazing
when he said like cave drawings and that look you gave lmaooo.. i burst out laughin so hard lol....but i think theyre pretty lol
Right?? I love the glares she gives him haha.
YES that look at 8:39, dying
I found this nail angel when her dried flowers coffin nails video popped up in my suggested videos and oh my gods I'm obsessed with her now shes sooo good she has great technical style and it's a stunning end product every time 💖💖💖💖💖
Sam I am.....annoyed sammme!
I've watched like 6 videos of this in a row. Thanks Jenna Marbles...
oi sameeee
I loved the feedback from "cameraman" makes it a lot more real!!! 🙌🏻💙 Loved the way the nails came out more too!!!
i think what u liked so much about ur thumb and pinky was that the lines were much more diluted, which spread them out to look more like marble rather than cracked nails. next time i would maybe recommend that u dilute your brush in alcohol more for that effect
Good tip👍🏾
thank you :) the design was still very beautiful
OMG I just bought a marble case for my macbook ! If I want to match my nails to my laptop I can now, Thanks Suzie! ☺️☺️
I have a marble case on my phone! ;3.
+Kirsten Rietveld really ? Marble is the best!! ☺️☺️
+You Do You except watermarble
+iLikeBeingRandom LeBloxxer I've found my fellow h💿l💿sexuals
+iLikeBeingRandom LeBloxxer hahaha reminds me of Christine's meme "how I feel about watermarbles" 😂😂
after his advice the nails looked better, more like marble. loved this look!!
You should marry the guy talking in the background already
ikkkk i ship it
I'm pretty sure they're already married lol
If you mean the cameraman, he's actually her husband ^^
They already are! He's her husband :D
i think, he already is her husband :D
Okay the camera guy is hilarious! It's so funny hearing a mans perspective about nail art bahahaha
Surprisingly his opinion was dead on. Art really is about random flow(way easier said than done, right?). Thank you for allowing us to see your imperfections, it's so easy to try UA-cam videos at home then feel like a complete failure when things don't turn out as we had hoped.
I actually like the camera man talking. *.*
Glad to hear it - it's fun for me when he adds comments as well😃
Jasmine Grunder me too👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account??
I stupidly lost the password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Lincoln Judson instablaster =)
one thing that i love about you is that you accept your mistakes and you show us the whole video without editing
great tutorial and love the nails. camera man is cool😂😂
i thought it was done with alcohol to blur out the black lines?
Thanks:)
There's probably a few ways to get this design done :)
+Nail Career Education okay im going to try it xx
+Nail Career Education do you have a nail salon? if so were cause I want you to do my nails with acrilics 😍 cause I think you are really amazing at nails ☺ plz respond to this comment 🙏 PS love you😘💖
I love this video because it shows you as a true artist... not a professional nail technician. I mean i love all of your videos but this one shows the teacher learning. It's amazing. And Mr. Camera man, the banter you have with Suzie is awesome. It shows you two are people. Lol I love you guys. I made it to this video by watching the pink removal, then the pink application, then this one lol :) You guys are amazing. Keep up the great work.
You guys are ADORABLE! Good on you, Suzie, for showing us how to troubleshoot nail art! I really appreciate seeing the entire creative method - including the muck-ups. This video is so much more educational because of the inclusion of mistakes. Thank you. Thank you so much.
Everywhere I go people grab my hands and are amazed by my nails and YOU are who I credit everytime. I've gained enough confidence to now have my own clients! They prefer me over salons, it's my passion not work. Tons of love from Toronto Canada 😘
Grant's next fill, please.
yesss please omg 😍
Grants fill
yes yes yes!!!
yeeeeeess
Yes please I want him back he's so funny!
I love the fact that she isn't perfect at every design from the beginning, it shows how much practise you need to put in 👍🏻
I love it when your camera man talks! You two have great conversations, and I adore this design! Haha, I'm a clear nail polish type, but these are so fun to watch!
I like camera guy he is funny and I like the little back in forth. It is fun to watch and listen cuz sometimes two brains are better then one. That is what art school has taught me so far
I don't mind the camera man at all talking lol I think y'all are great and you amazing on the marble
Aw thank you Emily
I think your nails turned out fantastic. I am so very impressed. You are one talented woman.
Aw thank you
I really love that you keep all of your re-trys in your videos and dont cut them out.
We all know you are amazing with nails and its nice to see you are human too.
Thank you for not being fake x
No!!!! I love you camera man! You always make me laugh!! Never stop talking!! Love you too Suzie!!
I love how you two cooperate through the design!
Beautiful! I'm gonna give this a try! Ya camera man is crazy funny! Tell me, is he ya husband? Mine is the same way.
Yup😂💗
Flecks of gold on the marble would be so luxe! Also, the pink and marble look well together!
I love this video for so many reasons. The design is so cool, and I love that you showed your fails. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who does a design, and wipes it off a few times before I'm happy. And, I love the camera man! His comments make me laugh, and his voice is just a wee bit dreamy 🙊
It's almost time for Grants next fill!!!!!!!! Soooo excited!!
I do marble by doing the gel polish set, wipe with alcohol, then make a few dots of grey normal nail polish onto the nail & get a small brush, dip it in acetone & drop it into the regular polish to make it dilute out do the same with black, let it dry & top coat it & it looks amazing I promise you :)
Awesome!!!!!! Great tip
I like the marble side more than the pink. The Bling look is pretty simple. The marble stretches the creative memory. Susie, thanks for your authenticity.
For the record, I love camera man talking, and your conversation. It's cute :)
this was a super cute video. the design is awesome, I'm in love with marble designs. but Mr. Camera Man is adorable!
You should get a beautiful marble table for your nail station it would look beautiful in your salon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'm you biggest fan ever trust me !!!!!
Oooow - marble sounds beautiful😍
Nail Career Education u are one of my favorite nail artists.
the best thing about this is the camera man and suzie just talking about marble
Oh my, Suzie! You are stunningly talented, hilarious, and I learn something every time I watch you. I love the mysterious camera man (maybe we could see him?) that you have conversations with, which keeps me chuckling as I watch!
Ugh Suzie, you really inspired me to want to get into nail art. It looks so relaxing and satisfying. You really are like the BEST nail tech!
Thanks Eric- I will warn you - minutes easily turn into hours - 😉
Got my first set of acrylics and been wanting to go natural and see how long they got but now I just wanna do designs. I do miss art but I’m so bad at nail art with polish and everything. Think you’ll ever come to the states by NYC?
I love this video and am obsessed with that tea pot!
10perfectnails l luv your videos
I like that you kept in the ones you ended up not liking. It's so frustrating when my nails don't turn out how I would have liked them to again and again! It helps to know that not even a nail pro will always be great at a technique or design on their first try.
love this nail design, you did an amazing job! I love that you talk back and forth to the camera man. I love even more that he's actually having an on point convo about nail designs 😂😅 too funny!
Cameraman is a sass master
Suzie you are so cute!!💜 I love your personality (and the cameraman also) 💅
I really like when cameraman talks an puts his input :) he’s been watching miss Suzy for a while so I think it’s great to have his opinion in there too.
i really love how real this is, its all about trial & error and practice, practice, practice ! and i love the cameraman talking too lol
Her voice is soooooooooo soothing 😊
sassy camera man. Love the nails too, but it's always fun when you have someone to banter with.
Yes the pink is beautiful. Love your channel
I do mine and mum's nails at home, I've tried a few methods to create marble nails and this method with the uncured topcoat has worked the best for me.
I love your videos, and I love that you show that you're still learning too.
U are one of my favorite UA-camr
Awwww thank you
Nail Career Education no problem
Nail Career Education would there be an alternative for acrylic like plastic or clear polish
I love all your videos suzi!!! And I love camera man!!!
I really enjoyed how you showed us the trial and error process of nail designs. We can't expect every artist to be good at everything :) I liked how you mentioned that as well because I'm an artist myself.
I like that the camera man gives advice and stuff and isn't silent and doesn't get cut out.
I think it turned out great, I was telling you to do horizontal lines and then the camera man heard me :P
omg no i LOVE the camera guy talking in the video!!!!!!!!!
it's funny I agree
I now
I really like that you don't need to put up perfect designs. It's great to see you just experiment and have fun. You could have edited out the mistakes and redos but I love that you didn't. You are an exceptionally talented nail tech and it's gratifying to see that you're not infallible. Gives us mere mortals hope! ;)
I want to buy acrylic stuff so I can work on nail art more. Ever since I started watching your channel I've fallen in love with it. Thank you so much for giving me a new hobby
I love that she calls him Cameraman haha
Ha!😀
I kinda like her better than simplynaillogical because she takes it more seriously and Christine has turned more into a comedy channel ever since she got big
They're in two different lanes though. Suzie is a professional nail artist and owns a nail shop and her channel is mostly for educating people, while Cristine started her channel to let out her crazy side (as a break from her job for the Canadian government).
that weird kid i guess that is so true
Firstname Lastname true but she isn't doing nails like she use to
one hour songs emma Holo will eat you
Oh, I love this video! I like that you showed some of your "missteps"/attempts that you didn't like - it's always useful to see what *doesn't* work as well as what *does* in a tutorial :)
I would just like to say that Suzie, your work is awesome! I find it so passionate that even after all these years doing your artwork and making your customers happy that I am very impressed with your passion for what you do! Your voice, your music, the camera-man, the editing, the detail and your teaching is all WONDERFUL! Thank YOU for what you do!!!
I ship Susie and camera man so much.
aw - :)))))))
This just made my dayyyyy
I found you through Jenna Marbles video and now I'm watching you do a marble nail 🤔
I think I find what I don't here, from the dried flowers till the marbles. I love it all, and how you relate to the reality where designing once is not enough and you need to erase it till the perfection. Subscribed!
That look she gives him. I live for it. Can't believe I've just found her channel. She's amazing
Love the cameramans commentary.
I think this would work to get the rose quartz look with pink and white though would love a tutorial
Cynthia Howe and the accent nail could be rose gold! That would look awesome!
It's nice to see a pro do re- dos. Just a fact of life. It is encouraging to know we all have those days. Turned out very pretty. Yes would love to see the pink.😉
Thank you Angie. Right hand video will be coming soon😀
I think these came out pretty well in the end. And I really loved that you made mistakes and showed us how to correct them, both with techniques and just not getting discouraged. The banter was fun too. Camera man was definitely a good help with the horizontal suggestion.
Hi Carla, I wanted to show that not everyone is good at every design, but that shouldn't stop one from trying😀 It takes practise.
I love camera man, he's so cool
You and the cameraman are so cute!!!
😊😊😊😊😊
I like when cameraman adds his opinions, makes for a great show plus it shows how much he knows.
I love watching you do nails, you are good to learn from tips are good, I'm 54 and too old to be a nail tech, I would love to have a go doing my own ,but don't know where to start yet but thank you I'm a carer looking after my special needs daughter at the moment but I love what everyone else I don't often do my nails.
I love camera guy haha
So how do you do your non dominant hand? What tips? I find that that is what keeps me from trying to much!
One of the 1st video’s I filmed was about how to do your own nails on your non-dominant hand. It's about Acrylic Application, but many of the tips apply. Check it Out:ua-cam.com/video/zsr7a2lf8yc/v-deo.html
thanks! i did end up finding it and tried my "hand" ;) at acrylic nails. It went pretty good. I even formed my thumbs because i couldn't find a tip that was a good fit. Thanks for helping me be brave and try something new!
Rhea Highland try propping your hand on something. I have tremors in both hands and it helps me keep steady.
I love how your husband is so supportive and involved in the process 🖒
I loveeee that you show your mistakes and trials with us !
I would love to do more work with gel Polish but they're so expensive that I don't have a much of a variety of colors. Are there any particular brands of gel polish that you would recommend that don't cost a fortune and are good quality?
if you're in USA you can get gel polish on clearance at sallys. online elite 99. u can find on amazon or ebay.
+dark1alucard thanks, I am in the US, I've never really tried Ebay or Amazon for gel polish, but I have used the Sally's brand, I can't think of the name, but I didn't really like Sally's gel polish, it wasn't very pigmented and I had to use many coats, I haven't really tried the other gel brands at Sally's though. I usually buy at Cosmoprof or Saloncentric and the gel polish is never really that great of a deal.
+SARA MULLANEY not Sally Hansen brand. Sally beauty supply is a chain. it has Gelish, which is used in salons.
SARA MULLANEY
never heard of those but i got a lot of finger paints and orly gel polish from sallys on clearance. if u get their emails they tell u when they're doing a 50%-75% off of red tag items but yeah elite 99 can go between .99-9.99. the little pots are about .99 but i know a lot of ppl like the polishes for convenience.
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018K3CU5Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
+dark1alucard maybe finger paints is the brand, Idk I forget, I didn't like it tho. I guess I'll have to start checking Sally's more, I've never really liked the brands there but maybe the Orly gel is worth a try, thanks again :)
Hi Susie can you please do something holo I just want to see what you do with holo vs simplynaillogical
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
*simplynailogical
*suzie
Hi Christine, I just watched your marble tutorial and you made me laugh because your so good AND show you struggle too which makes me feel better. The others don't show how many times they do a design. You take your time to show tricks and show step by step which I love too. Great job with the marble. Your doing a great job and your lovely too 😀
Gosh, something about this Woman makes me want to hang out with her at a backyard party, sipping margaritas and chilling🍹 She's so warm 🤗
I love the camera man, I don't mind at all when he talks
Hi Susie! I have a LED glow dryer but I'm not sure if it will dry my normal polish?
It wont.
+Julia Thanks
Led or uv lights are just for gel products
she has a video were she say that it cant.... only gel Polish is for a uv or led
Thanks for sharing , I haven't seen this particular technique for marbling before . Love the right hand , you gotta love chrome and bling .
I love you Suzie!!!!!!! & the cameraman too :)
ik ook (from the Netherlands) hihi
🙋🏼 hier ook iemand uit Nederland 😀
hoi xd.
Heee ik ookk👋🏻
Hier nog eentje uit Nederland ;)
hallo!!!
Are those your natural nails? If so my nails are the same length!
Acrylic.
+MC Young who cares lol
MC Young Impressive :3
I love that you show us when you don't like something and when you start over, it makes me feel like it's okay to not be perfect and that you need to practice. Love you❤️❤️ (here from Jenna😂😜)
I love these marble nails and will definitely try them myself! A toupee or pale brown/gray color would really add dimension to the design! Some marbles even have glitter in them 😘
you're voice is memorising 😴😴
That.......was...... MARBLEous. Sorry i'll go home.
I Love when you and the cameraman have conversations!
He's funny :)
Marble has a lot of webbing in it, and I think that's easy to forget with nail design since we are so used to lines and precision. I love the fact that you admit to your imperfections and work harder to get better. Even better yet, you learn WITH us. This is why I trust you so much enough to learn from and with you.
Thank you Tiffany. When filming the videos - I like to show the process - the good and bad, sometimes a design requires some trial and error to get right😀
So very true!
She forgot to do “WHATS ON MY OTHER HAND???”
Suzie, love the marble & the pink with being, thank u!!!
The final product was absolutely gorgeous!!!
Just shows us that even the pros have to practice... I love that you're not afraid to try and retry! 👍🏼
And YAS to the pink chrome design!!! I'd so love to see a mega bling design from you. 💎💎💎
Hi Nathaniel - how are you? Try until we get it, right? Pink Bling coming your way my friend:)
+Nail Career Education Hi Suzie, I'm great - always so inspired after one your videos, I'm actually about to start my studies to become a nail tech here in Aus. So I can't wait for that to begin.
Practice makes perfect is what I've taken away from most of your videos and I don't think we can ever stop learning hey, not in a field like this one - there's so much new stuff happening. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Waiting with baited breath all the way over here. :P
