marble is hard to recreate, I've found that a transparent milky white layer over the top helps to make some of the harsher marble grain lines look as though they are set deeper in the marble :) Looks stunning though!

i think what u liked so much about ur thumb and pinky was that the lines were much more diluted, which spread them out to look more like marble rather than cracked nails. next time i would maybe recommend that u dilute your brush in alcohol more for that effect

Surprisingly his opinion was dead on. Art really is about random flow(way easier said than done, right?). Thank you for allowing us to see your imperfections, it's so easy to try UA-cam videos at home then feel like a complete failure when things don't turn out as we had hoped.

I love this video because it shows you as a true artist... not a professional nail technician. I mean i love all of your videos but this one shows the teacher learning. It's amazing. And Mr. Camera man, the banter you have with Suzie is awesome. It shows you two are people. Lol I love you guys. I made it to this video by watching the pink removal, then the pink application, then this one lol :) You guys are amazing. Keep up the great work.

I do marble by doing the gel polish set, wipe with alcohol, then make a few dots of grey normal nail polish onto the nail & get a small brush, dip it in acetone & drop it into the regular polish to make it dilute out do the same with black, let it dry & top coat it & it looks amazing I promise you :)

I would love to do more work with gel Polish but they're so expensive that I don't have a much of a variety of colors. Are there any particular brands of gel polish that you would recommend that don't cost a fortune and are good quality?

if you're in USA you can get gel polish on clearance at sallys. online elite 99. u can find on amazon or ebay.

+dark1alucard thanks, I am in the US, I've never really tried Ebay or Amazon for gel polish, but I have used the Sally's brand, I can't think of the name, but I didn't really like Sally's gel polish, it wasn't very pigmented and I had to use many coats, I haven't really tried the other gel brands at Sally's though. I usually buy at Cosmoprof or Saloncentric and the gel polish is never really that great of a deal.

+SARA MULLANEY not Sally Hansen brand. Sally beauty supply is a chain. it has Gelish, which is used in salons.

      SARA MULLANEY
never heard of those but i got a lot of finger paints and orly gel polish from sallys on clearance. if u get their emails they tell u when they're doing a 50%-75% off of red tag items but yeah elite 99 can go between .99-9.99. the little pots are about .99 but i know a lot of ppl like the polishes for convenience.

+dark1alucard maybe finger paints is the brand, Idk I forget, I didn't like it tho. I guess I'll have to start checking Sally's more, I've never really liked the brands there but maybe the Orly gel is worth a try, thanks again :)

Hi Christine, I just watched your marble tutorial and you made me laugh because your so good AND show you struggle too which makes me feel better. The others don't show how many times they do a design. You take your time to show tricks and show step by step which I love too. Great job with the marble. Your doing a great job and your lovely too 😀

I love these marble nails and will definitely try them myself! A toupee or pale brown/gray color would really add dimension to the design! Some marbles even have glitter in them 😘

Marble has a lot of webbing in it, and I think that's easy to forget with nail design since we are so used to lines and precision. I love the fact that you admit to your imperfections and work harder to get better. Even better yet, you learn WITH us. This is why I trust you so much enough to learn from and with you.

+Nail Career Education Hi Suzie, I'm great - always so inspired after one your videos, I'm actually about to start my studies to become a nail tech here in Aus. So I can't wait for that to begin.
Practice makes perfect is what I've taken away from most of your videos and I don't think we can ever stop learning hey, not in a field like this one - there's so much new stuff happening. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Waiting with baited breath all the way over here. :P
