Make this Delicious One Pot Chicken and Rice recipe. This one pot chicken and rice is served with a rich sauce and crunchy salad.

►Ingredients for the One Pot Chicken and Rice
►Chicken and Rice
850g or 3 cups Sella Rice or Basmati rice
Water to soak the rice
3 onions medium size
1 tomato
60g ginger
5 thin green chilies
8 - 9 garlic cloves
4 big cooking spoons of sunflower/vegetable oil
►Whole Spices
3 bay leaves
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1 small cassia bark (cinnamon sticks)
3 black cardamoms
4 green cardamoms
5 cloves
7 black pepper corns
►Ground Spices
1 tsp. red chilli
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tbsp. red chilli flakes
2 tbsp. salt
5 chicken legs (medium or large)
5 cups of water
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. orange natural food color
►Paprika and Saffron Oil
2 tbsp. oil
Pinch of saffron
1 tsp. smoked paprika powder
►Ingredients for the Sauce
100g coriander which is around handful
50g mint leaves
4 -5 green chilies
Salt to taste
1 tsp. cumin powder
4 - 5 tbsp. water
500g natural yogurt
Half cup milk
►Crunchy Salad
2 carrots thinly sliced
Half red cabbage thinly sliced
Half cucumber roughly chopped
1 onion thinly sliced
2 tomatoes
40g coriander finely chopped which is around half handful
Season with salt & pepper
Serve with lemon wedges and olive oil

Quick question, recipe says 2 tablespoons salt for the rice and chicken - is that right or should it be 2 teaspoons? Seems like a lot, but I guess there's a lot of rice to season as well as the meat.
