Great review, I have the Deviate Nitro Elite V1 and V2. I agree that the midsole was not top level.. Regarding the fit.. I had problems with the midfoot being narrow.. Like in the Takumi Sen 8.. Did they make the midfoot wider this time?
Yes, and also the outsole is softer than the previous version. The grip is better because of it, but the durability might be reduced. But it's still pumagrip, so it should last long hopefully
I tend to destroy the exact same part of the outsoles of shoes, so please do update us about that in your full review. I plan to but this shoe, and the only question is whether the buy one pair or two (for training and racing).

How is the outsole section coming off exactly? Is it coming apart from the midsole, or disintegrating?
I have nitro 2 and elite 2. I think Puma used a lighter version of the puma grip on this one to save on some grams, thus making it less durable.

Do you rip off the outsole because of scuffing your heel? What causes that? I have a similar issue.

I am wearing the Hykes Pinnacle barefoot shoes and love them, will never go back to regular shoes.
